I had a scheduled appointment and still had to wait over 30 minutes because they needed to sort out something with my insurance -- something that should have been taken care of before my appointment. I was patient about the delay, but what bothered me most was the lack of communication. I had to go up to the front desk myself to ask for an update -- no one checked in or explained what was going on. It's also frustrating to see people who arrived after me being called in first. I am extremely disappointed with both the pediatric and orthodontic departments at this office. The front desk staff in pediatrics are very rude and unprofessional, with no manners or customer service skills at all. As for the orthodontic department, they seem very money-hungry. I was quoted extremely high prices and felt pressured and pushed into expensive treatment. I went elsewhere and found much cheaper quotes, and the new office actually works with my insurance and is trying to make it affordable. This office is very pushy and does not make you feel comfortable or cared for. I have been bringing my four kids here since they were babies my oldest is now 14 and honestly, I've never truly been happy with this place. We only stayed because it was familiar and close to our home. This will be the last time I bring my children here. I do not recommend this place to anyone. read more

If you have a child that is nervous for the dentist and cries definitely DO NOT take them here, if treatment is needed they will refuse treatment unless you pay over $1,000 and make an appointment at an office 45 minutes further that is only available ONCE a month for IV sedation I was turned away TWICE for treatment because my child was crying, he was able to get an extraction done and a crown at an emergency dentist where I paid cash while crying and this place refuses such a joke for being a "children's" dentist. I've been bringing my daughter here for three years. We drive a long distance and our time is valuable. We had a confirmed 11 a.m. appointment--with text messages to prove it--but the front desk insisted it was at 12 p.m., refused to take us at 11, and expected us to wait an hour. They need far better accountability and staff to manage scheduling properly. Another parent arrived shortly after with the exact same issue. Amazing doctor Buhmi! I have a 4 yr old that had a dental trauma injury on a Sat evening. Was able to get in 1st thing Monday morning and Dr. Bumming was AMAZING! I am so grateful that their r still doctors who truly n genuinely care for the well being of their patients. She did a thorough exam, she gave me great referrals to follow up with. No satisfied with that she called me after I had left n redirected me to faster service at UCLA ER bc of the possibility of needing an oral surgeon n further trauma to her jaw. This doctors call of sending me there although an extremely long wait, was worth it bc I was able to get my child a CT scan n seen by an oral surgeon an pediatric dentist. Within the 24-48 hrs of my daughters accident she had seen 4-6 specialists! I am so grateful n thankful that Dr. Bumming was able to genuinely care for my child's well being!!! read more

This facility has horrible communication! My daughter broke her front tooth in a trauma accident they sent me on a goose chase, made me several apts, referred me to the wrong facilities, and all together wasted 3 weeks of my time just to cancel my daughters procedure 2 hours before on the day of and to tell me that they couldn't even provide that procedure at that location. THEN WHY DID YOU JUST MAKE ME WASTE ALL THIS TIME!? Will never bring my kids back here. You can speak with 4 different people and they will all tell you something completely different. read more

I had a very unprofessional experience at my child's dentist yesterday, Monday afternoon. I went with my wife, but this visit was far from normal. I witnessed two front desk staff members having a verbal conflict. One of the ladies had blonde hair and was wearing a black mask. It took her an hour just to check us out and tell me to "call back to schedule treatment." Unfortunately, I don't remember her name. I observed the blonde-haired lady yelling at another colleague, which caused the other front desk staff member to leave in a panic, overwhelmed by the situation. I looked around at other parents to see if they could confirm the level of drama and unprofessionalism that was occurring. It was unbelievable. Due to this horrible experience, I registered my child with another pediatric dentist today. You need to do better! Don't belittle your workers and ensure your team is properly trained in their job duties. read more

Wonderful first visit! We brought our 8 month old baby here. The space was very welcoming, from the colorful walls to the seasonal decor. The staff was professional and friendly. We were checked-in and seen by the dentist in a short amount of time. Our baby had her first check-up and teeth cleaning (and a small prize for surviving the ordeal!) We were provided in-depth guidance on how to care for baby teeth and scheduled for next visit. All in all, it was a smooth and reassuring visit. They made the whole process look easy! This office has disappointed me beyond belief. They seem to be money hungry and will charge your insurance a ridiculous amount for little to no work. My oldest had an ortho consultation back in Oct/Nov 2024 and was quoted $6000. Our insurance eventually changed in Feb 2025 so when we went back to start the process in March 2025 we were told over the phone we could begin the process asap only to go to the ortho appt and have my child just seen for a fixed bite plate (and let me add that our dental assistant was verbally arguing with another dental assistant in front of us and every other patient and acted extremely unprofessional) and after going back and forth on when we could return for the most convenient time for my family they charged my insurance $1970 for the very little they saw us that day and still thought it necessary to call me and ask for a payment towards her braces even though we have not been in person to that office since mid March. Please do your research on this establishment. Extremely disappointed. read more

I was referred to this Dentistry by a family member after being to other unhelpful Dentist. The nurses were really helpful and understanding with my children. Lisa took the x-rays and kids were all smiles. This was the best experience the kids have had so far. Took my 5 year old here for the first time today. The staff was super friendly and informative! Her appointment was at 11 and they were able to do her X-rays and a cleaning/ inspection all within 25 minutes. My daughter was so relieved in the end when they told her they were done (she was nervous and expecting it to be a bad experience and it was the opposite!) they even gave her a "No Cavity Club" certificate and she got to pick out a toy on her way out! Lisa was very patient with my son and helped him relax during his cleaning and got him prepped to see the Dentist sitting in the chair all by himself for the first time! Thankfully he had someone who was gentle and patient and understanding of him being on the spectrum and having sensory issues, she even turned off the light to help him relax while brushing his teeth. I've been coming here for more than two years and I've never felt like they were trying to push unnecessary treatments or procedures, or even trying to squeeze an extra dollar from me. They've been practical with their medical advice and respectful of all my wishes. They've accommodated all three of my kiddos into the same appointment and allowed me to be present in every moment of their appointment. The staff is friendly, professional and accommodating, and from an outsiders perspective, are really efficient at what they do! It's like a tight-run assembly and everyone knows their roll to make things run smoothly (and it does!) The dentists, Dr. Rabii and Co dentists, have been professional, patient, and really in tune with little ones. This place calls you repeatedly to make an appointment. Then you answer and make the appointment. They confirm on a separate day. Then call you again to confirm for a second time on a Saturday at 8am waking up my whole family. Then I show up to the appointment on Monday at 8 and they tell me the appointment was canceled because I didn't confirm it for the second time. read more

Negative stars if I could. DO NOT TAKE YOUR KIDS HERE!!! They told us that our 3 year old daughter needed to have 4 teeth extracted due to an accidental headbutt with mom. I thought this sounded like an awful lot so took her to another dentist for a 2nd opinion. Other dentist informed us that absolutely nothing needs to be done and that 2 of the teeth are perfectly healthy. 2 of her teeth are loose and will fall out on their own but there's zero need for any extractions ESPECIALLY with two of the teeth being perfectly healthy! And to top it off while looking through past billings, they charged us for an adult teeth cleaning with an office that's strictly pediatrics! AVOID HERE AT ALL COSTS! I'm not only extremely angry but disgusted with this office's either negligence, poor training or being more than ok to so many unnecessary and potentially dangerous things to my daughters mouth just for the sake of a few extra bucks read more
