I chose Mac + Cheese and Greens for my sides, and a lemonade for the drink. Everything tasted good, warm, flavorful. The Mac + Cheese is never baked, and I honestly feel like if they threw it in the oven for about 2 minutes on broil to get that baked brown toppings, they would really have a winner on their hands with that Mac + Cheese. My family member opted for the 1/2 slab of ribs, and made it meal which included Texas Toast, Two Sides, and a Drink. We get all the way home only to find out they forgot the Texas Toast. This is the reason for the 3 stars, because forgetting the Texas toast was a big disappointment to us. Not only that, but trying to reach someone at their restaurant is impossible. I attempted to call the restaurant twice. The first time someone picked up and then hung up. The second call I placed, I held for 20 minutes waiting for someone to eventually take the call, but they never did. ‍I'm a bit disappointed because my family member really wanted that Texas toast and we paid for it.‍ I ended up sending a message through their app in hopes that someone will eventually bother to respond one day. Nevertheless, if you like barbecue and you're not too picky, City BBQ is always good enough, in my opinion, to hit the spot. UPDATE: City Barbecue got back to my email and not only apologized, but added a $5 credit for them forgetting our Texas Toast. WAY TO GO CITY BARBECUE!!!! For that reason, I can now give them 4 stars.

While I go to several locations around central Ohio, (and they are all great) but the Gemini location stands out because of the staff. I can tell they are lead by great leaders. I see managers engaged and working right along with the team. Today, Karina jumped right on the second computer to take my order. There wasn't a long line, but she did it anyway. I see the little things this team does. There is a lead by example vibe to this store that I appreciate. I just want them to know it doesn't go unnoticed. -Rick
