Slowest service in the world. Took 30 minutes plus to get four bagel sandwiches. Food is just mediocre. Do not stop here huge mistake.

After three years of having a property in Brigantine I finally tried Brigantine Beach Bagels. It is very close to our condo and an easy 10 minute walk. I had been going to Mission Café, but decided to switch it up. I was a little bit concerned about the low Yelp reviews and the long wait times reported. I went on a Sunday over Labor Day weekend around 9:30 am and there was a decent size line. It moved fast and I placed my order for an egg, cheese and bacon breakfast sandwich on an everything bagel. I only waited 5 to 10 minutes before my order was ready. I also ordered a cranberry muffin, which was very good and not too dense or dry. I am always amazed about how good a simple breakfast sandwich tastes when I order it out as compared to when made at home. I did enjoy the breakfast sandwich from triple B. The staff was super friendly and I did not have a long wait as some other Yelp reviewers reported. I would definitely come back again. read more

poor service, I called in to tell them they made both sandwiches wrong and they told me they couldn't do anything without the owner who wouldn't be there until tomorrow. The cook said she thought she made the orders correct. poor customer service, I can see why the review rating is under 3. OMG!!! This place has got to be kidding! 1 hour for a bagel and a breakfast ssandwich and $22. Service also awful, the girl apologizing had a BIG attitude and told us to leave if we didn't like it! Bagel sandwiches tasted good but I waited almost 25 minutes with nobody else in the store . The lady in front of me got a bagel with butter and coffee and was in and out in less then 5 minutes. There was only one employee in the store and she was talking her friend the entire time about getting her nails done . I couldn't believe she just stood there and talked while I sat there and waited . I am the only customer in the store waiting at this point. I was ready to walk out. Then I see her handling the bacon and bagels without any gloves on. I ordered a bacon, egg and cheese sandwich and a bagel with cream cheese and bacon $20.47 . Went here for the first time visiting my aunt on Saturday. Really friendly phone service and very good food!! ALSO it was super busy inside and something in my order was missing and I was understandable because of the volume in there. Delicious bagels! Stopped by around 11 AM 4th of July morning, the entire island was swamped. We tried Wawa, Dunkin and finally ran into this gem. We ordered 2 pork roll egg and cheeses on a bagel and another egg and cheese with onion and tomato on a bagel. It was a little expensive but there was a lot of meat on those bagels! Two stars because the bagels were tasty. Crisp on the outside, a nice chew on the inside. Why not more stars?!? We waited almost an hour for two bagels with butter and a sausage, egg & cheese sandwich. I am a regular Jersey Shore vacationer, and I understand how busy businesses can get, but the place wasn't overwhelmingly busy. Aside from that, the SEC was $8.75. Thought for that price it would be an awesome sandwich. I will let the picture speak to what was given to us for that price and nearly an hour wait. We will be ordering from the Wawa kiosk (right next door) next time. We always try to support local businesses, but we work hard for our money too. Unhygenic and terrible bagels. The lady at the checkout had a gloved hand for money and used the same gloved hand to handle food. On top of that save your money and just get bagels at acme because that's where this place probably gets them. 2 bagels with cream cheese was $7.38 that's insane! For that price, I'd except big fresh bagels with a thick layer of cream cheese, ended up getting the opposite of all three for those adjectives. If I could give zero stars I would! The absolute worst service. They wanted to charge me 43 dollars for three bagels. The manager Mike stated stop bitching because I said these prices are crazy. Furthermore a mom and her two kids came in for a few bagels and they wanted to charge her 91 dollars GET OUT OF HERE. ABSOLUTELY ABSURD! Not your New York style bagel but not as horrible as everyone says, especially if you order your bagel toasted with cream cheese. I recently had a garlic bagel toasted with scallion cream cheese. It wasn't the best bagel I've ever had but it was fine and met my bagel needs. It took a while to get two bagels, but I also went on a Saturday morning. Came at 815am for a bagel and there was a sign saying they would return at 830. Waited like an idiot and asked if they were still warm. Was told they were delivered this morning so they are cold. I ordered a plain bagel with butter and noticed on the menu it said the following: Bagels $1.00 Buttered Bagels $2.50 I asked why butter cost a $1.50 more and was told the actual price of my plain buttered bagel was $3.50!!!! $3.50 for a bagel that wasn't even made on the property. Awful experience. Went here our first day in town, took FOREVER and the food was mediocre. I'm originally from Jersey and moved away, so I was looking forward to a good Jersey bagel when i got here and it was terrible. I get better ones in Washington without a 25 minute wait. Regardless, we went back on day 2 thinking it was just a bad day. We waited 40 minutes for our order, watched everyone behind us get their food before us and when we questioned it the manager gave us attitude and said it was because my 5 year old nephew wanted pancakes and the grill wasn't opened. Yet, he used the grill to make everything for everyone behind us. 45 minutes later with no food still and attitude from the manager, we just left. Great way to spend an hour of our time while on family vacation. Would not recommend this place to anyone. read more

Fuggetaboutit.... if you've ever had a NY bagel this you will find disappointing. Either the bagels haven't risen enough or they weren't soaked quickly in a water boil.... but these bagels have only one thing in common with the best NY bagels.... they are both round. These had a tougher outer crust and were not as large of fluffy as a NY bagel. As for the place..... the girls are wonderful and the prices are sky high. To pay over $9 dollars for a 75 cents bagel with a shmear and two tomato slices and a ring or two of red onion is absolutely stupid if you pay that more than once... ( without a Yelp warning ) Here is a better alternative... get your bagels from the supermarket and buy a few spreads. You'll pay less than 9 bucks doing that and you won't feel like such a shlameel. read more

First and last visit for us. We arrived at 11:45 AM on a Sunday morning and there were only Everything bagels along with about 8 random flavored bagels. We ordered two pork roll egg & cheese bagels and to total was $14.93! Ridiculously expensive. The sandwiches were average at best. Each had a single piece of cheese, one egg and two very thin slices of porkroll. For another $5, you can hit a diner and get a full breakfast, including coffee and tip! If I could give zero stars, I would. My wife placed an order for 2 sides of bacon ($4/each), nova salmon on a bagel ($12), bagel with cream cheese ($7.50), home fries ($4.50), and gluten free bagel ($3.50). I went to pick up the order and was charged $98.64. I didn't think anything of it. The bag was full so I assumed she ordered a bunch of food. Come to find out the total should've been $35.50 plus tax, which would come to $37.85 with sales tax. I call to question and was put on hold several times. They said they would call back multiple times and never did. So I just decided to show up. Not very difficult, i paid cash so just open the drawer and reimburse me the difference. It's very simple math. The drawer would still be right at the end of the shift. I still had to wait. Now take $98.64 and subtract $37.85, the difference is $60.79. The change I was given was $53.06. You're kidding me right? Rude, unprofessional, terrible attitude. It's not the amount of money. It's the principal. It's bad business. Mind you I could've made a scene and made sure all customers that were in the store heard everything. After a rough night, a delicious bagel would have gotten my morning off to the right start. Unfortunately, the bagel I had here was fairly stale and tough to chew. Around 10 am on a Sunday, I still expect bagels to still be somewhat fresh. To add to the unpleasant morning, the staff did not seem to have an idea of who was next in line. The chicken cheese steak I ordered had mushrooms and onions. It was pretty tasty, served on a chewy torpedo roll. They leave the door open, which invites all types of guests, like carpentar bees. It is very likely that this is the worst bagel place in New Jersey. The bagels here taste like they were taken out of yesterday's trash at Dunkin Donuts and, for some reason, the prices are way off base ($20 for one bagel with butter, one bagel with lox and cream cheese, 2 small coffees, and 2 gatorades... yikes!).
