When we arrived Mike showed JP all of the boards & he picked which one he wanted & Mike took the time to put the fins on the board with JP & give him a little lesson on surf safety & some surf talk! JP loved the whole experience! We've ordered other boards all online & now that Mike gave JP that experience, we will go to the primal surf shop & get the boards from now on! I am usually drawn to the Strap-its, comfy pants and sweaters/shirts. I've also gotten some adorable accessories and light jackets in the past. There is almost always some sort of sale going on, and the staff is super friendly and helpful. I always find myself chatting with the staff who make me feel welcome and are very knowledgeable about what the store has to sell. I like to make a point to stop by when I am in town, as I can pretty much always find something here. It is certainly worth the time to pop in and look around, you just might find something you like!

I apologized but she continued to make a big deal of it, asking if I had any idea how much work I'd caused for her because now she'd have to mop the water (?) on the floor and screaming to other employees to grab a mop & guard the door to warn people not to slip. We're talking about a couple of drops here; I was completely dry except for my hair. It was absurd. Several other customers were uncomfortable with the outburst and left. I was so flustered, I stayed just long enough to pay for $30 shoes and the entire time I was paying, she continued to belittle me and ask how I could be so disrespectful, how could I do that, etc even as I continued apologizing and giving her business! I've never experienced anything quite like it. There are several shops with similar items very close to this one; I highly recommend going elsewhere.

Way too pushy when trying to help style (even though was not asked to do so) and had an attitude the whole time. Snarky responses, rude when sizing "don't be surprised if it doesn't fit" What?? Who says that? I've had my share of retail experience, not something you say to someone. Also was clearly annoyed with the fact our kids were present. Were our kids angels? Nope but sorry your store is on the boardwalk and they wanted to go on rides not shop for swim wear. They also were not running through the store, they were either sitting on the bench or by our side. I'll be the first to admit if they were annoying but if you don't like kids and have a problem being in your store- get a new location. Yes- my mother was indecisive. Yes- she has ever right to be. No- we never asked for your help to begin with. Avoid if you want a good shopping experience, suits are overpriced anyway.
