We ended up staying there talking for a couple of hours to catch up, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. While there are lots of great options on the menu, both of us chose the BPT - Breaded Pork Tenderloin. I've eaten a lot of breaded pork tenderloins in my time, but none like this one. The usual approach is super thin and huge, making the bun look tiny. While this one wasn't much larger than the bun, it was at least an inch thick, so it was more like eating a fried pork chop sandwich, but with the meat tenderized. The meat was well-seasoned and very flavorful, and the crust was extra-crispy and crunchy. The Honey-Lime sauce (one of three sauces brought to each table along with Ranch and Tyler's Sauce) is delicious and worked great with the pork. Fries were good, as was the cole slaw (which had a nice kick from some very freshly-ground black pepper). And I'm always happy when a place has Guinness on tap.

Their cocktail and beer list is huge and they only charge $5 or $6 for mocktails! Most places make you pay booze prices for these. I also really liked the patio and we were able to bring our pup to hang out and enjoy the festivities. If this place was closer to us (and not 2.5 hrs away), we'd probably come here more often.

I do not drink alcohol and many places here in the Midwest do not serve sweet tea. I have brought my own sweet tea countless times to restaurants and no one cared... that is until Bellevue Tap. I sat down and the first thing I said was I was here for wings. The lady noticed my tumbler and asked what was in it. I said sweet tea. She then told me I couldn't have that in there. I did not see a sign anywhere that was posted about not bringing outside drinks especially one they did not have on hand. I guess she thought I was going to pick the wings over my sweet tea and well, she was wrong. I got up and left. Before I wrote this review, I googled to see if I was at fault for bringing in my own drink. The only thing I could find was the restaurant could ask me to leave. But I told her I was going to order wings. I thought if I wanted to give them money, they wouldn't care. Like I said, I have lived in the Midwest for 4 years and brought in my own sweet tea to countless places. No one else cared and I even asked if it was ok several times before.
