I am in LOVE with this spa. This was my first time going to one and let me just say, I will be…read morecoming back SOON! My massage was beautifully done by Crystal! She made sure I was comfortable and well taken care of and as an added bonus for a nerd like me: she was playing ambient Legend of Zelda music!! I felt so relaxed and in good hands... literally lol. I then had a 45 minute salt cave session. I got the heated eye mask and the aromatherapy nose ring (WORTH IT!!) and took an incredible nap. I was provided a soft blanket which was an added plus. After the session, I did some shopping while I was there. I got this incredible lip oil which made my lips super soft, the amber romance body scrub and body soap which both have left my skin feeling like silk and smell amazing, and the swan salt lamp as seen in the photo below! I fear going out in public alone so I've been experimenting with taking myself out to get some exposure to help alleviate this fear of mine. I shed tears three different times while I was there because it was the first time that I felt genuinely safe and relaxed in a long time. HUGE thank you to all the staff and therapists. You all have no idea the positive impact you've left on me.

I also loved learning more about the benefits of salt therapy, especially how it may support breathing and respiratory wellness. After my session, I felt so much lighter, relaxed, and refreshed. The entire space was beautiful, peaceful, and very inviting. I also loved that they had products available to purchase I ended up taking home a shower cleaner and some bath salts so I could bring a little bit of the experience home with me. FYI they have free lockers for storage. I also tried the eucalyptus nose ring and lavender heated eye mask. I will definitely be back! Such a beautiful and relaxing self-care experience

Not only is it beautiful, but they have wonderful amenities you can use with a purchase of a spa service. I went with my mom for pre- wedding relaxation! She has been there many times. As a soon to be bride, I wanted a relaxing day with a good massage. I had the Himalayan Stone Massage and then the Lavender Body Scrub. Both were so relaxing! After check-in, they first showed us around and to the women's spa area. They give you robes, slippers, and towels and showed us how to use the lockers. I am 4'11, and wear a size 4 shoe- the small shoes fit me perfectly! They have a few relaxation areas, showers, changing rooms, a whirlpool, and a steam room. There are a few different hot tea flavors if you want tea. There is water available and some snacks (trail mix & crackers). Phone use is discouraged. My massage therapist was Yvette. She was wonderful!! She asked questions and kept me informed during the massage and body scrub, which left me comfortable and relaxed. She also managed to pinpoint all my knots and work them out! After my sessions, I tried the steam room. This is different than a sauna. Compared to other spas in the area that give massages, the price was not too much more expensive. I think you get more for your money since you get to use the amenities.

I did not answer, but I decided that I was not going to keep braving the tunnel just to save a few dollars. UNTIL, I had my facial. Alice was the aesthetician who worked on me and I could not be happier. I had a major skin problem awhile back and Alice took the time to listen to my complaints and figure out a way to help my skin. In addition to knowing about skin, Alice was a registered nurse for over 20 years so she really knows her stuff. Even with using a Groupon she gave me the best service with excellent products. She gave me some really good advice on what I should do about my skin problem and I could not be happier. Do you want happy skin? Well then I think you should go see Alice. I think they are running a Living Social deal right now but they are having the same deal in the store for some type of peel. All I can say is I walked in looking 33 but walked out somewhere back in my twenties and could not be happier.

I'm purely there to beat the knots out of my back. The biggest compliment I can give to a therapist, is that I feel that they hate the knots more than I do! Celia is so awesome. She really worked hard to knead the knots out of my body. I visit Hampton at least 10x a year. I'm going to start making seeing Celia part of that routine! The spa itself is a cute and intimate setting. It smells good and looks clean.

For my birthday month, I decided to dedicate each Friday to a self-care/self-love activity. My…read morefirst stop was Pint of Peace, located in the Lynnhaven North shopping center. I was specifically intrigued by their beer baths, and after researching the benefits, I decided to try one. I initially attempted to book online, but while the site mentioned a 50% deposit, it required 100% payment upfront, so I called to finalize the reservation. I used a 20% discount since it was my first-time booking. I decided to schedule the Brewing Calm Immersion, my session included 20 minutes in the sauna, a 60-minute massage, and a 60-minute soak. When I arrived, the owner greeted me and showed me my bath soak options: Hops Brew, Barley Blend, or Chai soak. I decided to try the hops brew which was a blend of hops, brewers yeast, malt, oats and Epsom salt. I also chose Eucalyptus, my favorite aromatherapy, for the diffuser used during my bath. After that I selected my drink from a selection of beer, wine and non-alcoholic options, which was also served during my bath. After making all my selections, I was escorted to a private room where, I changed into the robe and slippers they provided. They also provide access to Lockers with keys for you to secure your valuables.   My Experience  Sauna- Before entering they gave me a cup of ice water. I love the fact that I had the ability to adjust the temperature and lighting. However I wished there was some music in the background because sitting in silence for 20 minutes felt very long. Massage- I found the massage relaxing; however, the Pressure was hit or miss and I also feel like certain areas were neglected like my feet and head. Beer bath/soak - My favorite part of the day.  They pre-steeped the brew so the ingredients were already activated. I was originally concerned that the bath water wasn't going to be warm enough but I had 100% control of the temperature. When you enter the room they already have music playing and I had the ability to change the genre if I wanted. They also provide you with 2 large ice cube for you to massage your face and cool you down if you get too hot. After they get you all set up they dim the lights which was the final step in setting the relaxing mood. The Soaking tub was huge and I was just sinking into it. Loved, loved, loved it! Overall I truly enjoyed my time spent & experience at Pint and Peace. I would absolutely recommend stopping in for a day of pampering and I am looking forward to returning for another soak. This was a great kick off to my birthday month of self-care.

We did the sauna treatment, 60 minute massage, and bath and it was AMAZING! When we arrived, we got to choose our bath treatment - there were 3 options. Since I've never had a beer bath, that was what I chose. We also got the option of tea, wine, beer, or water for our bath. We also got to choose an essential oil for the diffuser during our bath. After making our choices, we changed into robes and went into the sauna. From there, we got 60 minute massages, and mine was AMAZING! I asked for firm pressure, and that's exactly what I got! After our massages, it was bath time. It was really neat because the treatment is actually in a bag that you put into the tub. It isn't beer but the dry ingredients that go into beer I'm guessing. I loved that they cut off the big lights and there's the option of a small switch light. There is also meditation music and the diffuser that adds to the relaxation. They also give you 2 big ice cubes to use on your face, neck, or just to simply cool the water if needed. I used on my face, and it felt SO good. I like that we had our baths in separate rooms but were able to move the sliding divider in the wall if we wanted so that we could still talk to each other! This was a 2 hour experience and I would definitely do it again. It was the perfect way to relax with a friend or take some time to yourself for a little self care!

COVID signs were clearly posted and the staff was complying as well. The young lady immediately greeted me and I explained what my goal was (I thought I was just going to tan to get a few silent minutes), she suggested the Cocoon and explained all it entailed. Sounded like heaven! She escorted me back and thoroughly explained the settings to me. Needless to say I was so impressed I bought a membership! I've been several times and all of the young ladies have been a delight. They offer more than just tanning and lotions... who would have thunk it! I'm hooked!

I have been wanting a spray tan for a few weeks. 2013 was the last time I tanned due to child care arrangements so when I saw that Sundays opened up less than 5 minutes from my work I HAD to come and check it out. Originally I was going to just get a Mystic package but decided to go all out! Erica (sp) actually remembered who I was from YEARS ago because she actually signed me up at the Volvo location FOUR years ago. She showed me all the new things Sundays has added, like the zero gravity massage chair, and talked to me about what I was looking for. I appreciated that she wasn't pushy at all with anything. She answered all of my questions and I really felt like I was talking to a friend while there and not just a salon specialist. The location was clean and all the beds looked fantastic. I am not prepared to UV tan so I did a light mystic tan and the massage chair. I am happy to be back and this location is BRAND new but well run.

The last time I called over the phone, she was rude then too. I thought maybe she would be nicer over the phone, but honestly, it was even worse. If you work with customers, especially potential clients, I feel like you should be mindful of the way you speak to them. Even if a customer makes a mistake or does something incorrectly, there's still a respectful way to communicate with them. Her tone always makes it seem like she's in a bad mood, both in person and over the phone. But when I see her with other client she's way different and nicer so I don't get it ? Even if that's her personality she needs to try to top the attitude down a notch. The only reason I continue coming back is because of Ivonne. She is amazing, very sweet, and makes the experience so much better. She is WAY kinder and more welcoming than the lady with the red hair. If you happen to get the lady with the red hair, just be aware that you may not have the best experience. I really hope she works on her attitude and the way she speaks to customers because it can definitely make people not want to come back. Sorry for the rant but it really irks me her acting like that. Other than that the salon is great ! Just not the lady with red hair.
