This goofy lies that a family member told her that I was sleeping, mama you're the HR no family going to to complain, they go to the units manager and or the DON not your goofy self. How dumb can you be. Now if you have a family member there get them out of that place they have scabies outbreak that they are hiding from the workers and the families. They lie and said it was ringworm which is a fat like, I have scabie working there and I was told if I go to the doctor not to say I got it from work. LOL. They got cockroaches all over the place big ones too. Patients gets two showers out of the week and no sponges bath on the days they don't have showers. Anyway I'm glad that goofy fired me because that I works with a company that cleans and have better management.

We were shocked to see such caring and compassion coming from the property manager. As she greeted us and welcomed us back to her office, we started asking questions about the property and availability and she was very thorough and helpful. She explained the waitlist process and we were fine with that. The community is exceptionally maintained and operated by the property manager. We have visit quit a few properties after this property and we will be the first to say A good community for seniors is best ran when the company running the facility hires a perfect candidate like this manager. This is not an assisted living facility this is an independent living facility, so the residents here are very active and social. We would recommend this place to any one we know. We would recommend calling these facilities first and not just showing up, we realized after the fact how busy the manager was once we were there and the traffic of residents she deals with. The property is very well maintained and the facility has a home feeling. I love the spirit and compassion of the manager and would recommend this place to all my elderly friends and family.

The staff was very welcoming and assisted in getting him settled and helped in hooking up his electronics. The outdoor space, off the patio, was large and the grounds were well maintained. It was nice for our friend to be able to look out and have a park-like setting beyond his patio. The staff was very friendly, kind and accommodated out friend's every need. They were very professional and facilitated doctor appointments, arranged transportation and always kept us informed as to the health condition of our friend as well as the overall status of the facility. Administration personnel kept on top of monthly finances and, also, government paperwork. Our friend, also, spend some time in the skilled-nursing section and was treated with the same compassion and dedication he received in the assisted-living section. For some health background, my grandfather had a stroke in 2015, which left him partially paralyzed. He additionally had a hip replacement a few years later from a fall. My grandfather was also a type-2 diabetic, but it was always taken care of well. Since November 2021, my family has noted inconsistencies with my grandfather's care, which is important to highlight here. My family struggled with contacting him and visitation. He was suddenly provided insulin. This was strange because my grandfather was always insulin-resistant. However, when we asked why he was being given insulin, we were told it "helps his kidneys." In Jan 2022, my grandfather was hospitalized for a kidney infection. However, no one in my family was notified. It wasn't until we went for visitation that we were told, "Your grandfather is not here; he is in the hospital." Regarding other inconsistencies, he was never given a proper meal that applied to his dietary needs as a person with diabetes. He was only fed what everyone else was eating. As time went on, my grandfather was steadily declining in health. He began to show drastic bodily changes; his body/face was severely swollen (signs of edema). Additionally, he had unexplained scrapes/scratches/bruises all over his body. From here until August 2022, he was in & out of the hospital for high blood pressure, low blood sugar, coughing up blood, and pneumonia. In August, he remained in the hospital. Then we were told that this was it. He was in renal failure. His kidney function was at 13%. We moved him to a hospice, where he died on August 30, 2022. It all happened too fast. PLEASE DO YOUR RESEARCH ON THIS FACILITY. Utilize the Arizona Department of Health Services' "AZ Care Check" on their website to review the numerous citations, penalties, and fines the state has against the owner of Park Senior Villas: Jannea Downs and the facility itself. The other reviews here are correct: she managed this facility without a managing license. They do not provide what they are supposed to provide; they do not care like they are supposed to care.
