Pulling into the harbor, one can truly appreciate living in Michigan. Our Great Lakes are stunningly beautiful. Lake Huron was crystal clear and people were out enjoying the sunshine. We found the perfect spot to relax. We brought our cooler and spread out blankets to enjoy lunch. There is an area with picnic tables and open grills to BBQ. I couldn't have wished for a better day with the best company....listening to music, enjoying a picturesque view of the lake, making memories and enjoying the simple pleasures of life.

There's a quiet picnic area, a play area for the kids, a sandy beach, decent restrooms, a nice marina, a restaurant at the marina, plenty of parking, beautiful boats to look at, a scenic walkway where you can gaze at Lake Huron on one side and the harbor on the other. The beach is perfect for swimming and sunning. You may even see some of the older kids jumping into the lake from the huge boulders that are all along the walkway leading out to Lake Huron. The ducks, swans and birds are a sight to behold as they swim with their families in the harbor. The town of Lexington is a short drive or walk from the harbor and offers some interesting stores to browse in and restaurants that are welcoming and friendly. Do you want some fudge or ice cream? It's all right here! There are stores for everyone to wander into and browse around in and get lost in the day. It's not a big town, so it's easy to cover it all in a matter of hours. But allow enough time to take it all in. This is Pure Michigan at it's finest and a must see for our state. A wonderful, picturesque gem!

The marina is gated but guests are welcome! The marina puts on special events about 3 times a summer which usually includes free food. It has a club house and a play structure that can be used for parties per request. There are bathrooms at either end of the marina. It's a short drive to the water from here and makes for a quick and easy process getting into the water. This is a gated and secured property so I always feel my my boat is being looked after even while I am not around. The owner and community are amazing in the marina. It is quiet and I never feel like I am not welcome. I have picked up and dropped off my boat at late or odd hours and I have never had an issue. The owner has loaned me his own equipment and tools to help keep me on the water when I have had small issues. This is a top notch facility with great management and tenants.

They gave me a verbal quote for this service but when the bill came it was more than 30 percent above their original quote. This increase in price came without any warning. Had I known that this would happen I would have taken my business elsewhere. On the plus side, the employees seem friendly and knowledgeable. I would have given them my future business but I felt like I was deceived and taken advantage of. I'll be staying with my current marina service provider.
