A structural…read moreengineer was needed right after our regular home inspection and the team was able to promptly send out someone to meet with our closing timeline. This made our home-buying process extremely less stressful! When I came out to check on the site - the engineer was very helpful, listened and was informative. After sharing the report with my home inspector, they mentioned how impressed they were with the detail and coverage of the inspection. Considering some of the rates we were quoted, this was the best price hands down in the Houston area. I would recommend to anyone who is looking at a well tailored, attentive and great priced engineer!

Scheduling team: C, when there were scheduling issues when an inspector couldn't make it out, they scheduled me for the next day without telling me and said "I agreed over the phone" when I had asked if they had other times/inspectors available over the weekend and they said they'd call back over the phone to let me know, but never did (prompting me to call them after a few hours).

Darrell is the actual technician that does the site inspection and measurements while Gerard handles tying the report together, scheduling appointments, and answering any questions. Gerard was prompt with scheduling, clear with expectations on what was to be inspected, and offered great value for his services and communication. Darrell was on-time, did a very, very thorough job with foundation measurements and inspection of the structure of the property including the attic and the exterior for things that may pose a future risk to the property. The report was thorough, timely, and helped me make an informed decision about the property purchase. I thoroughly recommend reaching out to Gerard for services.

He did this process in a very thorough approach. He also gave on-site advices on what we should pay attention to such as grading and tree roots. The report from Gerard is also detail-oriented. It includes all the measurements. Gerard also listed observations on potential symptoms. Along with his evaluations and suggestions. This report helped us as a guidance to fix our yard and house perimeters down the road. The value of the service is well worth the price. Highly recommended.

He sat us down and explained all that he saw. His written report was well written and even I could understand most of it! His fee was very reasonable for the time he was taking measurements. FYI: Level Check put in 28 piers plus 3 inside the house in 2019 and wouldn't even come out unless we hired a Structural Engineer. Now, in 2024, they want to put in another 25 around the house again for only $25,000!! I would not recommend them!

He's definitely a no nonsense kind of guy but he's also very funny if you catch him on a good day when his dry humor shines through. He's mostly quiet but I think that's from him concentrating on the actual job he's performing versus being social and not doing his job. I respect him and his advice. Have used him twice with good results; open to using him in the future and would recommend. His years of experience was what drew us to him to begin with. Also, he's a professional engineer, not all house inspectors are. If you are concerned about foundation, it is best to get a PE like Jeff.

Throughout this process, he never spoke with me on the phone, instead referring me to his secretary just to schedule. Rather than talking it through or addressing it professionally, Jeff abruptly rescinded his offer to help, said he would not work with me and told me to find a new engineer, and said goodbye. Extremely dismissive, uncommunicative, and unprofessional treatment of a returning client.
