At this point, I've lost counted how many times we have used Mike and this team with our mortgage and refinance needs (four times? Five?) But all that speaks to is the main reason why we keep coming back to them: their thoroughness, communication and genuine sincerity to always get us exactly what we need every single time. We cannot recommend Mike and his crew at Bridgepoint any higher! read more

I want to thank Mike and his amazing team, with a special shout-out to Josie, for helping us secure our home loan. I've known Mike for years, and first met him while viewing a home. When I later looked up his company, I saw countless positive Yelp reviews and what really stood out was how humbly and thoughtfully he responded to the one negative review. I remember thinking, this is exactly the kind of person you want in your corner: someone who not only excels at what they do, but also owns up to mistakes if they ever make one. Mike is a genuinely good person. Buying a home can be incredibly stressful anything can change at any moment but every time you reach out to Mike, he's calm, positive, and focused on finding a solution. His optimism is contagious, and when you're putting both your heart and finances on the line, that kind of attitude makes all the difference. Josie was also there for us every step of the way, always quick to respond to calls and emails. She was truly Johnny-on-the-spot. I had a lot going on personally, and it was an emotional process, but Josie constantly reassured me and kept things moving smoothly. Mike is the Michael Jordan of home loans...driven, consistent, and always striving to be the best. Think about the brands we love, what keeps us coming back is consistency. Mike embodies that. He continually trains, meets with mentors, and sharpens his skills. He's exceptional at what he does, and we feel so blessed to know him and have had his help through this journey. Thank you Mike and Josie. Wishing you and your company nothing but the best. read more

As first-time homebuyers using a VA loan in one of the most competitive markets around, we needed more than just a lender -- we needed a true partner. Mike Trejo and his team at Bridge Point Funding were exactly that, every step of the way. Mike's knowledge is genuinely comprehensive: financing, inspections, offer strategy -- you name it, he knows it. He has assembled an A+ team, and that made all the difference when it came to submitting competitive bids with quick closes and every detail handled flawlessly. During the toughest stretches, when we were outbid in some of the most heated markets, Mike was always there -- helping us strategize, process the disappointment, and come back stronger with clear lessons learned. Because of Mike and his team, we got our dream home. They have our strongest possible recommendation, and we would not consider going through this process again without them. read more

I am thankful for... honest, hard-working, fast, amazing communicators and Mike Trejo and his team are all that and more. This is our second home that Mike and his team helped us with. When you are lucky enough to find the best BROKER, real estate agent, contractor, mechanic, ETC. you keep in touch, even if it's been 10 years or more. You know these types of reliable, trustworthy, high-quality people are hard to find! This condo was especially difficult because of insanely high interest rates and the fact that it was a vacation rental. Mike is the type of person you can just call up and he will answer. He is an excellent, knowledgeable broker/teacher and will patiently and clearly walk you through any questions you may have. And his team is exceptional, especially Kimle! She is detail-oriented, proactive, responsive, positive, friendly, and I would work with her anywhere. My husband and I just adore her. Buying a home is one of the most stressful things you will do. There are so many documents and roadblocks, you need someone who will go above and beyond and fight for you. You need a GREAT team and Mike and his team are the ones. They're rare. They're IT. Don't hesitate to work with them. read more

We initially worked with Mike and his team a few years ago when searching for our first home. Recently, I found myself searching again and though I had relocated to Southern California, there was no one else I considered working with other than Bridgepoint Funding. For every step of the process, Mike and Josie were communicative, timely, and always open to helping in any way. I appreciated their willingness to explain every step and provide guidance as necessary. Having Bridgepoint Funding really helped put my best foot forward to potential sellers, and every party whom we interacted with (various sellers' agents, escrow, etc) was impressed by their reliability and professionalism. I can't thank Mike and his team enough and would recommend them to my own family and friends in a heart beat! read more

I was recommended to Mike's team by my awesome realtor, Taylor Sublett. Early on, I was devastated to find out I didn't have access to as much as I thought for a downpayment. 5 STARS is an understatement! Mike, Rachel and Joseph were all amazing from start to end. They really went above and beyond with their first class service. Our realtor referred us to Bridgepoint in late April and we were pre-approved a week later. Our offer was accepted in early May and we were able to close in less than 30 days. The process was seamless and Bridgepoint coached and guided us all the way through the closing day. We leaned on the team with our many questions as this was our first time purchasing resale in this HOT and low inventory market. You find the house and Bridgepoint will work with you to make it all happen! Could not say thank you enough times to Mike and his team. We recently had an incredible experience with Mike Trejo and his team at Bridgepoint Funding. This is the second home we have financed with their help, the first being 12 years ago, and that was also a great experience. Mike took lots of time to explain our financing options and ended up finding us a loan that was highly competitive in today's tough market and perfect for our situation. He drew on his deep experience to help us provide information to convince lenders that our situation, which normally would be a non-starter for qualifying for a mortgage, was actually reasonable and responsible, and as a result we were successful in obtaining financing. His team then pushed hard to process our paperwork, was extremely responsive and helpful, and the end result was that we closed our purchase process in record time! They also gave solid recommendations on home insurance possibilities and worked very well with our realtor to ensure everything was handled promptly and properly. We do not hesitate to recommend Bridgepoint Funding and hope to work with Mike and his team in the future. They are truly great, knowledgeable, easy to work with, and very friendly. We closed on our house within a months time frame, if that doesn't tell you how hard they worked for us I don't know what will.
