Though this review is a little late, it certainly hasn't been forgotten. We wanted to wait until the wedding photos were ready so we could show off the amazing work Stephanie and her hair & makeup team did! From the start, they were incredibly kind, patient, and a joy to work with. They were always checking in on me and my bridal party to make sure we were feeling and doing well. They went above and beyond to ensure that everyone's hair and makeup were absolutely flawless. Their skills are truly incredible. The end results exceeded our expectations and we couldn't be happier! Highly recommend Stephanie and her team. You definitely won't be disappointed! :)

There were many vendors at my wedding but there were only two that really stood out and Brides Nest (Stephanie) was one of them. Amidst all the chaos of wedding preparations, my wife and I got really lucky we didn't have to spend too much time finding a Hair Makeup Artist because we were referred by a family member and we couldn't have been happier with the recommendation. Even though Stephanie does not live close to Orange County and she had to drive a great distance to the location of the photo shoot, she was the first one to show up and be on time. As a guy, I was hesitant at first to get makeup done as it was my first time ever doing so but Stephanie made me feel comfortable from the beginning and was very friendly conversing with me throughout the whole session. Stephanie was also kind enough to carefully do my hair for me so that I would look good for my big day. Once I was finished, it was my wife's turn to get her makeup and hair done and Stephanie immediately went to work without any breaks. She is a true professional and made sure we were all ready on time to take photos. She didn't rush anything and was very efficient with time. When I showed my hair to my groomsmen, they gave me mixed responses so I asked Stephanie if she could redo my hair and without any pushback she kindly replied "this is your day, how would you like your hair to be styled". This is the kind of service that is missing from most businesses these days and it's this level of service that makes a huge difference. To my surprise, when our photographer Tony arrived Stephanie and Tony knew each other making everything else go very smoothly. Stephanie even went through the trouble of being a backup/assistant photographer to Tony while we did our first look. When we asked Stephanie if she can also join us at the wedding venue, she immediately replied "yes" and reassured both my wife and I that she will be there for both of us just in case one of us needed a touch up. Everything after the ceremony was a huge blur, but I can remember that Stephanie was in the bridal room waiting for us and asking us one last time if we needed any touch up even though she had to leave earlier she waited for us and made sure we were good for the rest of evening and really took good care of us before leaving. I felt bad she was not able to eat before having to take off and cannot thank her enough for the great services she provided to both me and my wife. Going forward, I will be recommending Brides Nest to all my family/friends who are not yet married. Look no further and hurry up before you miss the chance to book Stephanie!

I had the pleasure of having Stephanie and Mei do hair and makeup for my wedding day. They were able to get me, 3 bridesmaids, and 2 mothers ready and looking beautiful before the ceremony started at 10am. They worked quickly and efficiently and we were all very impressed with their work! Stephanie was wonderful to work with leading up to the day as well. She answered my questions and was very detailed in her responses. I appreciated that she was always fast with sending invoices and timelines when I had to add a service. Booking Brides Nest was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. I first noticed that the owner, Stephanie, works a lot with our photographer, @antonioprophoto. Because our photographer was such a joy to work with, we had a feeling Stephanie would be amazing as well. Her Instagram account showed pictures of beautiful brides with soft glam makeup. As soon as I visited her website, I knew that she was not only a talented makeup artist but also an organized, transparent business owner. She made her pricing readily available (I didn't have to contact her separately about it), and I was able to instantly figure out if she was available on our wedding day. The booking process alone made it easy for me to decide to work with Brides Nest. I was able to schedule my trial on the day of my engagement photo shoot. Stephanie listened to my thoughts on the soft glam look I would like for myself, asked me how my makeup looks on a daily basis, and took into consideration the type of makeup I do not prefer. She was down-to-earth and fun to chat with! It was clear that she enjoys what she does, which goes a long way when you book any vendor. Thanks to Stephanie, my makeup looked amazing in all the photos, and it lasted several hours without requiring a touch-up. This definitely helped because we did our shoot at Griffith Observatory around sunset and dusk, so I had no time to look at myself. My hair stayed put throughout the entire session as well. I appreciated that she recommended using extensions. We still have a few months to go for our wedding, and working with Stephanie is making the process much less chaotic for us. She is quick to respond to all of our questions. She was more than happy to schedule another trial session for me because I'm still not sure if I want to put my hair up or down on the big day. She'll also be doing a trial for my husband. We're looking forward to seeing how gorgeous everyone will look on our wedding day!

Bridenest provided hair and makeup services for everyone in the wedding party, even the groomsmen! Not only was their work amazing, but it lasted all day long, through hours of laughter, dancing, and even tears. I was definitely ugly crying at some points, but you couldn't tell from my make up! For the men, this was their first time getting hair and make up. Many of them were unsure at first, but my partner and I thought it would be a nice treat for the entire wedding party, as a thank you for their support. Afterwards, they couldn't stop staring at themselves in the mirror! Their confidence really showed in the photos! Stephanie and her team were really flexible and easy to work with. They also had great advice when I was looking for direction in my vision. We walked through looks to match my dress and she suggested hair jewelry as well! Besides their great hair and makeup services, they were also really professional. They came early to set up their space. They also played music to set a fun atmosphere while we were all getting ready! Stephanie's playlist has some bangers!

Stephanie is amazing! I found her through Instagram through a promo she was running and I loved her pics so decided to go with her for hair and makeup! She did my bridal trial a few months before and I was SO happy with the finished look! I added all my bridesmaids and the moms and she was able to accommodate us (with the help of another MUA on her same level!). I have a particularly picky mother and Stephanie is such a saint and was able to deal with her! Everyone was so happy with their hair and makeup and I am so happy with everyone's hair and makeup the day of the wedding. Stephanie was even able to keep my stepdaughter's hair curl the whole day when it never holds a curl! 10 out of 10, would use Stephanie again!

Let me tell you this, Stephanie is an amazing hair and make-up artist! I found her in Instagram, and I saw her hair and make-up style. She responds quickly, I never had a problem communicating or contacting her. My wedding was in the late afternoon and we able to book her earlier to also add my mother's and fiancé's hair and make-up. Yes, she does men's/ groom's hair and make-up(touch-up). Stephanie is incredible! She saved me by taking out the stress of how to prep my mom and my fiancé. I don't usually use make-up, so I'm not used to people putting lashes on me or just anything on my face and Stephanie made it easier and smooth. She was very easy to talk to and very friendly. I asked for soft glam and she delivered it! Way better than I thought. Hands down to her talent and skills. My mom and I felt soo beautiful. My fiancé hair was kinda messy before but she fixed it well. He looks very charming. Our look stayed all day, even though it was a hot weather and we cried alot, nothing was ruined. We highly recommend her especially on your wedding day. Include you parents or your wedding party, it's definitely worth it.

Stephanie did a great job for my wedding day! I booked her for 2 days back to back and she helped me create a new look each day. The makeup application felt light but it stayed ALL DAY in 90+ degree weather. And even at the after party! Stephanie was a wizard with hair. She created 8 different looks for my entire bridal party. Just a tip for anyone booking ANY hair or makeup artist, make sure you come with inspiration photos. I cannot stress the importance of this. Celebrated my wedding yesterday and I have tell everyone how impressed I am by Bride's Nest! I came across Brides Nest on Instagram. I reached out and Stephanie responded right away. I found BridesNest via an Instagram ad shortly after I got engaged and was so happy she was available for both my engagement and my wedding day! Even though my engagement was supposed to be a trial I ended up choosing different makeup and hair on my actual wedding day and it turned out even better. Stephanie was very responsive to messages and in person took care to ask frequently if everything looked ok so far. If you wanted to adjust anything she'd be happy to do so. The makeup was comfortable (including the lashes) and had staying power. I didn't want to wear contacts as glasses are a part of me, and loved that the makeup showed up pretty natural in photos. Dee did my wedding hair (loose updo with braids) and it was so romantic and perfect for my dress. She incorporated my leafy vine hairpiece and it looks so beautiful in photos! They also made my new sister-in-law really pretty and my new mother-in-law (who never wears makeup) was so pleased with her makeup as well! Thank you BridesNest! Stephanie is such a great make up artist / hair stylist and very accommodating. I also want to add that she is very patient and always willing to go outside her comfort zone. She will work with you, asks you what make up, color, style you want, and will give you the look you want. She responds right away whenever you have questions, even if it's late at night (like almost midnight) When you work with her, you feel as though you know each other for a long time- that's how comfortable she makes you and that is good to have as an artist. She also had 2 other artist that assisted her on my big day, and both artists got great feedback from my bridal party. I would highly recommend her and her team if anyone is looking for a make up artist and hair stylist. Thank you, Stephanie and team for making us look super beautiful! WOW!!! Let me just say my make up and hair were absolutely PERFECT! Stephanie really out did herself. My make up lasted all night even after sweating my butt off with all the dancing! Stephanie did a fantastic job for my wedding this past weekend. I found her through an ad she placed in a Facebook wedding group. She was able to fit me in her schedule for a trial before my engagement shoot and my wedding. Timing was perfect, we were early and she listened to everything I wanted. Since we had the trial done for my engagement shoot, we were able to troubleshoot the makeup and hair for my wedding day. I absolutely loved my hair and makeup that Stephanie did for my wedding! Both held up the whole day from 9AM til 11PM when I washed it off before bed! They lasted through eating, crying like a big baby, romantic kisses, and dancing! She knew exactly what look I was going for and listened to my preferences. I found Stephanie via an IG ad about free hair and make-up for 2021 brides! She's great! I was able to do my trial pretty early on, which gave myself time to think a little more about what I really wanted or didn't want. Stephanie is always and so responsive! I would check in with about lip colors, especially since I had a second dress for the reception, as well as hairpiece, and she was always very helpful. She wants you to make sure you like what she's doing and will work with you to get the look you want! She had a hair assistant on the day of my wedding (which was just this past Sunday) and I loved everything! And everybody loved my makeup!! Thank you SO much, Stephanie! read more

Stephanie was an angel! She communicated swiftly before, during, and after, and took a lot of the stress out of the morning-of preparations on the big day. Because I am not an experienced make-up wearer, I am so glad I trusted Bridesnest with my wedding make-up because it turned out even better than I could have imagined. I had Stephanie on my radar but because of the Covid-19 Pandemic, I had to reschedule and luckily, she was available. She followed safety protocols, which made me feel at ease and safe. Stephanie did an amazing job on my makeup last Saturday for my wedding at Lake Arrowhead. She actually came 30 minutes early to the venue to make sure to be on time and efficent. She and her colleague was able to do all my 5 bridesmaid and then me effortlessly to be on time for my wedding first look photos. She was professional and listened to everything I wanted. If you're looking for a hair and make up stylist for your wedding, I highly recommend BridesNest! I found Bridesnest on Instagram due to their promotion on free wedding day hair and makeup for Brides and I found it too good to be true because at the time I was in need of beauty services for my wedding day so I let it be for a couple days until I had the courage to send them an email, and from the beginning their service was very responsive and courteous. I had my bridal trial and Stephanie made sure my makeup was perfect and exceeded my expectations. My wedding day came and once again Stephanie made sure my makeup was on point. I found Stephanie through an Instagram ad and I am so happy I decided to book her for my wedding hair and makeup. She has such a light touch, never tugged on my skin, very relaxed demeanor (what every bride needs to be around, right?) and was super flexible and receptive to feedback. She also did my mom's hmu and my mom, who can be quite picky, loved her too. My hair trial wasn't exactly what I was envisioning for my wedding hairstyle (although it did look cool) but Stephanie is so sweet and talented that we were able to do something completely different on the day. This is the best make up artist so far! Stephanie made our (I mean my best friend) wedding party was perfect! I'd like to start out with the most important statement: Stephanie is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! She is extremely accommodating and made sure to constantly keep what I wanted for my big day in sight. She made sure everything was as I wanted with both my hair and makeup. She was even kind enough to work around her schedule to squeeze in a trial for me. To add to that, I had a few location changes to my schedule leading up to the big day and she was always so open and willing to adjust with no gripe or judgement. She is super easygoing and my results were amazing!!! I had so many compliments on my hair and makeup and it stayed on all day! I found BridesNest through Instagram, and from the beginning, Stephanie has been very responsive. BridesNest advertises a free hair and makeup session for the bride, which initially drew me in, but as I started to review BridesNest's Instagram and website photos, I knew I wanted BridesNest to do my hair and makeup for my engagement shoot and wedding day. It is very hard to find a makeup artist that knows how to work with Asian faces, and I liked the natural, soft glam, and glam looks that I saw in her portfolio. Stephanie is very talented and attentive. I sent Stephanie photos of what I wanted for my engagement shoot, and Stephanie came through! I'm not used to seeing myself in a full face of makeup, but I could not have been happier. I used my engagement shoot as my hair and makeup trial for my wedding day, and I'm so glad I did!
