Kim-Angel and Bridal Glow Wedding Services made it easy to book with them and schedule the trial. The trial went smoothly and I'm glad I was given the chance to see their work before the big day. However, the trial felt rushed and in person feedback and requests were not received graciously. The requests for the hair and make up changes were taken into consideration the day of the wedding but not fully accommodated. My hair and make up ended being pretty but not exactly what I wanted. While everything ran according to schedule the day of the wedding, Kim-Angel was very eager to pack up and leave as quickly as possible and the overall customer service experience was poor. My fiancé and I decided to elope to CO last minute, and the owner Kim was able to accommodate my requests by sending two of her best stylists Heather and Josh to my condo the morning of my wedding on a Sunday. They arrived early as they knew I was on a time crunch and finished in record time with my picture perfect image and then some. Heather and Josh worked great as they tag teamed my hair and makeup with nothing but pure professionalism and not to mention awesome personalities and conversation to ease my nerves. I wish I could give Kim 1,000 stars, because our day literally would not have been possible without her. Long story short, three months before our wedding, our original venue burnt down, leaving our reception and guest lodging at an unknown point. We didn't know what we were going to do, especially being out of towners headed to Estes Park for a destination wedding. Not to mention, all our guests were coming in from California and the Midwest too! That's when we reached out to Kim. Kim gave us peace of mind, and helped us dream up a new plan; a plan that turned out even more beautifully than Plan A. I get choked up simply remembering how much Kim did for us and how above and beyond she went. From working with our new venue and helping us figure out contracts (they can be confusing!), to helping us plan out transportation and new lodging for all of our guests, she did not leave any detail undone. While she helped us with the very detailed planning, she also served as our boots on the ground and allowed us to feel confident about our "new" wedding day plans although we were 1500 miles away. The weekend of, she coordinated all our vendors and helped with every, single detail. She also went above and beyond and decorated our new venue as well, since it was not included with our new venue. On top of that, she took down all our décor as well. During the reception, she made sure everything was running smoothly and she always made sure my husband and I had a drink in our hand and food on our plate. If there were any issues, I had absolutely no clue. (10 days after our wedding, when she knew we were back to "real" life, she was nice enough to call me and tell me that our venue had overcharged us for our "consumption" bar. She told me that the bartenders had calculated the drinks incorrectly and she had discovered it. She had already called them and worked it out with them, so the venue would be refunding us $1300! That was a ton of money. Without her investigating and spending time looking into it and calculating it, we would have had no clue. She definitely didn't have to go above and beyond to do that; but she did because she truly cared about us.) When we walked into our reception the evening of our wedding, it was seriously the most beautiful place I had ever seen. Most important of all, our wedding day was absolute perfection, and I literally had zero stress. Seriously! That goes for our families too - she made everyone feel at ease and calm. It was perfection because of Kim; we never could have pulled it off without her. It's four months later, and we still have guests telling us what a nice time they had and how beautiful and perfect it all was. I literally cannot recommend Kim & her team at Bridal Glow enough. In fact, I'm sad I don't get to talk to her regularly now; she became such a friend and confidant. I would not waste your time booking a reservation here unless you can absolutely make it. The owner and staff are very strict and unreasonable about their 72 hour cancellation policy. My husband and I wanted to go on a hike and tried to push back our appointment for pedicures and the staff were rude and not at all accommodating. I called them after the fact as they charged us the full price for services we never received and the manager was extremely rude. I've been to many luxury spas and none have been as rude as this place. We got massages the day before this happened which we nice but not worth dealing with this staff. My boyfriend and I got facials from Heather and Joshua and they were awesome. We loved both the facials and Heather and Joshua! They knew which products were best for our skin and then they totally were able to ease my boyfriend's fear of getting a facial. We did a couple's facial, which was fun. They took their time and gave us a really luxurious experience. We were even offered tea and snacks after our services. Heather is really friendly and personable and so was Joshua. BEWARE! The Amethyst Spa will penalize you for the ENTIRE amount of the service if you call even a minute less than 72 hrs before the appointment. I am the bridesmaid in a wedding at the Stanley, whereby the Bride and Groom are spending a ridiculous amount of money. I was one out of eleven appointments, and I called at exactly 11:12 on Wednesday, being 71 hours and 48 mins prior to the appointment, and they charged the Bride the full appointment amount. As such, the Bride was a wreck and furious with me, so I called and had the cancellation charge charged to myself. I am very sorry that they are so far in the mountains and have to call in people if they don't have enough stylists, but this just seems like extortion given the amount of money the Bride has already dedicated to them! read more

I recently booked me and my bridesmaids makeup/hair for my wedding in July with the Amethyst Spa. DO NOT make the same mistake that I made. The Spa Manager is EXTREMELY RUDE and they overcharged us TWICE. All of my bridesmaids showed her pictures of what they wanted their hair to look like (very natural, a little bit of wave, VERY EASY) and she gave them all spiral, pinned up curls! Every bridesmaid dreaded getting in the chair next for the fear of what she would do. I showed her my picture at least 3 or 4 times during our session and she still did whatever she thought would look best on me. After my trial, which I should've taken as a sign to cancel my booking but they had already charged me, I decided that instead of doing a french braid (which she made me look like a pinned up poodle), I would do just a very simple wave with my hair down. When I sat down in the chair on the day of the wedding, I told her that I just wanted a wave instead of the french braid. She sighed angrily, I said, "I figured it is just easier", she rolled her eyes and said, "For me or for you?". I was astonished! She gave me looser spirals but still spirals and when I asked her if she could just use a curling iron instead of the straightener to give me more of a relaxed wave, she responded with "I don't own a curling iron. Everything that I need to do, I can do with this straightener." It's a spa that does hair/makeup and the only tool she has is a straightener! She almost made one of my bridesmaids cry because she yelled at her for washing her hair that morning and told her "Well, I don't know what you want me to do with your hair then". Seriously, one of the RUDEST people I have ever met. Myself and all of my bridesmaids had to re-do our hair when we got back to the venue and yet we paid them over $600!!!!! Biggest waste of money. Not only that, but they overcharged us on purpose TWICE. They won't tell you this but your bill already includes a 20% gratuity charge but they will tell you that they haven't been tipped. I paid them the extra 20% tip because she told me that gratuity wasn't included and then later found out that it was. When we called to refund our money, they refused. DO NOT BOOK HERE! read more
