My boyfriend had the buffalo chicken pizza and a "delicious" IPA made by them...he was able to but just one beer which was a great option. The service when we arrived was wonderful. All the staff were friendly and attentive. They had live music playing also which is another bonus fyi. Well done and thank you for making our brief stay in Skowhegan even more pleasant after a long day of travel.

I sat at the bar - Marie recommended an Orono Maine pale ale with my blueberry pork butt pizza. Everything is made in house by Beth (the owner) and her parents Make the dough in large batches so it can ferment, and also make their own sauce - the love shines through in that very different but flavorful pizza. Also had a delicious spicy margarita - perfect for a warm day and with just the right amount of heat and Tajin on the rim. Thank you for a happy and delicious meal!! We'll be back

Not only do they sport their own brews, but they have a killer brick pizza oven to boot. The Good: *Huge outdoor space but oddly they don't have any coverings, like umbrellas, to keep you out of the sun. *Great views of the lake and people watching. *Service was friendly and pleasant (see below) *Nice selection of their own brews and other micro and macro brews on-tap, as well as fermented grapes, as well as a full bar. *Tater Kegs were delicious and a very unique item; if cheese and ham stuffed tater tots doesn't get you torqued up, then it's time to turn in your foodie card. *Bison burger was excellent and cooked perfectly medium. The concomitant brioche bun and bacon jam really sealed the deal, as well. The fries were pretty bomb, too. The Meh: *"No Pet Policy" is kinda wild, but kinda ubiquitous here in Rangeley. Which, to tell the truth, is sorta strange because it's usually rich people who like to schlep their dogs around and what do rich people like to do? Ski, boat, and fish--three things synonymous with Rangeley. Interesting, eh? *Interior isn't as big as it looks from the outside, but is still fairly ample. *They seemed overwhelmed on our visit and very short-staffed, as the food took a looooong time to come out. Fortunately, we were in vacation mode--and I had a beer in-hand--so it was all good on our end, but if you're looking for a quick meal, this might not be it. Pizza was wood fired and should have been amazing but doesn't seem it was cooked hot enough so crust was limp. Toppings and cheese were very good although the sauce was on the sweet side. This place is awesome! They have a big selection of wine and beer as well as pizza, wraps, ice cream, and baked goods! We had a blast grabbing drinks and taking pictures. They have a ton of picnic tables made from reclaimed wood for seating. They also have small fire pits and more intimate seating areas. We played corn hole, swang on the adult swing, and walked around the spacious grounds. They had a really cute moose antler photo opp! We are all from out of town so this was a real treat and we took a bunch of pictures. I could imagine having a very beautiful wedding here! I'm sure they host events. While most places go overboard on extreme IPA's, it is refreshing to have a place that focuses on malt-forward British style ales. Even a cask conditioned option, which was great. The cons: They serve 12 oz pours for $7. Come on, it should an industry standard to serve pints in an ale house. I think they do it this way as an incentive to make you buy the mug plan option. You can only get a full pint if you join the mug club for $100. $200 if you want your mug to be made of pottery. Most micropubs around serve full pints for $8 or less. A 12 oz pour is annoying and cheap. The food was good, but the service was slow. I mean really slow. I mean like after your done drinking and the bill is paid is when the food finally came out, type of slow. The said they were backlogged. I guess we were supposed to be understanding, yet the price was still the same. In the end. We would return if in the area, but not a place to travel to as a purposeful destination.
