Cute diner and the service was nice. We recently moved here and tried many different spots. Decided that this will be our go to Sunday morning breakfast. Food is good and comes out fast

Not enough mask wearing in the kitchen. 3 employees were walking around without masks . BUT We have been meaning to try this restaurant for a while, breakfast restaurants are me and my family's favorites. Brick stones held up well. My Irish Benedict was good , had good flavor and was cooked well. My daughters and wife's pancakes were much firmer then they should have been instead of a airy fluffy consistency . We most likely won't be back but it was good . The manager or main waiter did bark at us in a yelling tone through the kitchen when we walked in which was really welcoming . We were waiting for 10 minutes without being helped and she leaned through the kitchen and yelled "your going to wait a while"

I've heard so many good things about this place and we finally tried it. We got there around 11 and the line was out the door. So we're waiting... and waiting... and waiting. Come to find out the people in front of us waiting didn't watch for it to clear inside. ‍ So the staff noticed the line of people and had everyone come and and we sat quickly. So... make sure to check in especially if you're waiting outside. It's a small restaurant. Nothing fancy but it smelled great. Our waitress was quick to our table, quick to take orders, and the food came out fast and hot. I ordered the steak tips special for 9.95. You get two eggs, steak tips, home fries, and toast. Very yummy, steak was great. It is a marinated steak and has a bit of a sweet flavor, I wasn't expecting that but it was alright. My husband doesn't care for sweet so he wasn't as a big of a fan. He liked it enough to still go back and try other things though. All in all, for five people, our bill was $40. My kids were happy and full and it was just loud enough where my kids voices and sometimes loudness blended in with the sound of the restaurant. I do appreciate that when dining with kids. Haha We live pretty close so I can guarantee we'll be back and often. I'll update my review as we continue going.

While my wife and I are self proclaimed "foodies" and like a bit of flair where we normally dine, I'll give this a review based on what it is and what to expect based on what we enjoyed or saw at other tables. The coffee was enjoyable with a nice flavor and was definitely fresh. At this time they offer half and half and whole milk for cream options. Some of the staff are newer with some seasoned staff as well from other establishments. Everyone was pleasant but they are working out the kinks still. The interior decor is simple and straightforward. Prices we found to be reasonable. Portions were pretty much average, not too little or too much. We did see some very impressive and large pancakes being served to other tables. We ordered a side of corned beef hash, traditional eggs Benedict and a sausage Benedict. They make their own sausages and while it's very obvious they are fresh made I personally felt the sausage was under spiced. They serve their Benedict's with grilled English muffins (that's my personal favorite way to eat it). They use Yukon potatoes for their home fries. In my opinion Yukons lack flavor so they need spice of some sort with onions and peppers but they serve these rustically cut, grilled plain. Yukon potatoes are tricky, they usually are mushy or undercooked (we experienced both). Both our poached eggs were perfectly cooked, the hollandaise was very flavorful and smooth. For our overall experience we gave it a four star review based on a traditional style breakfast diner that is new.

We were in Dover for a wedding and wanted to get (a real) breakfast (as compared to the complimentary hotel breakfast - not knocking, but you know what I mean)... Enter Tucker's, which happened to be right across the street from the hotel. They are open from 7 AM to 2 PM, serving breakfast all day and lunch starting at 11 AM. It was a Friday morning, and they had a packed dining room but plenty of parking. We waited for maybe 5-10 minutes. There were five of us, and we were seated quickly in a nice big booth. (The booth was one of those bigger-sized ones that can fit three people on a side.) The decor was cute and the vibe was great. Our waitress was great right from the jump! She was very friendly and attentive. They have an extensive menu with a lot of options and fun twists. The food came out quickly, as described, and very delicious - plus the portions were a good size! We had some omelets, avocado toast, breakfast plates, and a benny! I would definitely recommend checking Tuckers out and personally would visit again if I am in the area! They had a lot of great choices!

Parking is availalbe and if there is no parking, then they are packed! The inside is large and can accommodate small to larger groups. The menu is incredible for options. I wanted to have breakfast and was surprised by the size of the pancakes. I needed another plate just for that. ha ha I am also a coffee nerd and tend to find a reason for not liking businesses attempts on ice coffee. Many try to pour hot coffee over the ice and re-ice. Not sure how Tucker's does it, but it was yummy. We both enjoyed our meal and plan to bring friends when they visit this fall.
