Being a huge Lego fan I went through various phases collecting, building, rebuilding, gifting, and shifting from Lego ideas, Optimus and Bumblebee, millennium falcon, and many other builds. I've slowed down and discovered this amazing store because like many people, I ran out of space and had to consolidate my Legos. With this came the risk of pieces breaking off and pieces being misplaced. Bricks and wheels staff was knowledgeable and I could find some hard to find pieces to complete existing builds. I've started to make this place a regular stop when we are over in the area. It's located near Factoria, just off the freeway and is a relatively quick in and out, depending on how long you're looking to peruse! As with most kids born in the 80s, Legos were a staple growing up. Now that we have three boys, they are an absolute mess! I remember legos being awesome in the past, but didn't remember them being as cool as they are now! The selection they have here is solid. They have both older and newer sets, many of which are prebuilt, but also many of which I've never been assembled. The owner has everything arranged by set category, and of all the sets we've ever bought here, we've never found one that didn't have everything that was expected. They have tons of individual pieces if you're looking for specific stuff. One of my boys needed a bunch of wall pieces recently, so we came in and it ends up. They have a bin of just wall pieces. That made it a lot easier! They also have tons of mini figs that are all sorted by type in price. If you're looking for animals, dinosaurs, cartoon figures, storm troopers, figurines from specific sets, doesn't matter, he's got them! The prices are very fair and they do take trades. Next time you're in the area, it is absolutely worth stopping in! We do literally almost every time we drive-by. read more

One of a few used Lego shops in the area, this is a great place to find those missing pieces from sets you have, things you're building/creating on your own, and things you can't wait to build after finding these! Ziplocks are available to fill and buy in bulk. The store also sells figures from all sorts of sets, as well as used sets themselves. came in for my first time to sell some Lego. I go in and ask if they are buying right now and the guy working in there was super rude. I brung in about 12 sets all older and sought after. He asked what I was looking for in cash and told him what last sold was. In a very rude manner he told me no. Low balled me saying they need to make a profit and I understand that. An amazing secondhand Lego store! The confusion is that they're *an official Lego store* but they are just a great local gem for you to buy old kits, spare parts, and hot wheels. They have fair and transparent trade prices, and Dan is very helpful & knowledgeable. So this store is a second hand Lego store. Lots of unique and classic legos to buy. The store is a little chaotic and reminds me of a garage full of stuff that you just need to dig. I've met the owner before and he told me he would honor his Christmas special. Nice guy. There are some good value sets at the store. But some sets cost more than online . I would say the negative part is the service . The two workers remind me of stone teenagers who just talk about their lunch. Not really helpful and didn't seem friendly . But in general the store is fun for a fan of Lego. read more

This is one of the truly great havens for LEGO enthusiasts on the east side. Bricks & Wheels has perhaps the best selection of both modern and vintage LEGO sets in the area. Whether you're a master builder, or someone new to the hobby, there is something in this shop for you. There is a massive selection of not only sealed sets, but also a nearly endless supply of spare LEGO elements for all your builds. I have come here many times to look for pieces from childhood sets I was looking to complete, as well as new parts for custom creations I am working on. The staff has always been very helpful in getting me the pieces I need, either from their existing stock, or from their sister store in Kent. For me, I respect that the owner and employees have a passion for the product, which isn't always the case in the business. Even if you don't visit this store with the intention of leaving with a new LEGO set, it's worth a visit to see their constantly rotating displays of sets, from the massive UCS Millennium Falcon and Eiffel Tower, to the rare San Diego Comic Con exclusives. read more

You could scream at the 2 guys standing behind the minifig case watching SpongeBob and they still wouldn't pay attention to you. They have a good selection of used / retired sets but no better than Bricklink or EBay. Only satisfaction you get is getting your set instantly and I'll happily wait and get them online and not have to beg for someone to help me check out. read more

I was looking to sell some sets. I inquired online with the model numbers and conditions of my sets and the response was to come in because they were interested. First, the associate wasn't really helpful at all. Throughout our conversation he kept looking at the set he was building and not really making any eye contact. Felt like I had to guide the sale even though I was the customer. then he told me that they weren't really interested and that they would sit on the shelves for 'months and months'. They're price reasoning is that they buy for 50% of what they could sell it for so really if you're a seller you will have better luck on eBay. Felt like I had my time wasted, if you know you didn't want them just tell me online and no hard feelings. Overall store as a former Lego fanatic kid is good, just smells rancid so I don't even know if I could go through the bins. Its like a musty kinda smell, but worse. read more

I came in here recently to sell some Legos I had and encountered an employee that had a very poor attitude. He was incredibly condescending and rude. He asked, are these complete. I said yes. He then asked, "Did you check recently, or was this 10 years ago when you built them?" I told him everything was there. He then said "You didn't answer my question." He then went on to tell me most are "worthless" and that most would be hard to sell. His demeanor was unfriendly, rude, and negative from beginning to the end. Please, never shop here. read more

Hands down, the most amazing "Lego" store EVER (Lego OBSESSED family members). During this "pandemic" time, our family shops local when possible, leading me to Bricks and Wheels where I was greeted by Dan. Dan, went out of his way helping find "Harry Potter" sets for my niece. His expert advice brought better set options. Her mind will bet blown when they're received. Since "Bricks and Wheels, Bellevue" is a 3 hr drive for me, I called their Kent location tracking down specific sets, sold out in many places, hence the reason I was rerouted to the Bellevue. Instead of rushing the call, time was taken explaining other sets, in his opinion, were better options and less expensive. Unable to go that day, my sets were held with the option of more time if needed. Being my 1st visit, Dan told me to be prepared to have my mind blown, which it was, x 100. Astonishing models filled the store, I felt as though I was in California at Lego Land. Life happened, leaving limited time. Going back with unlimited time is a must. While checking out, I was informed of Brickcon, a 2-4 day, Lego enthusiasts dream convention. Brickcon is an annual event running the 1st weekend of October in Seattle. Thanks to Dan, Brickcon 2021 is now a planned event with friends and family. So I needed to find Scooby-Doo lego that wasn't available at the Lego Store in Bellevue. Luckily Bricks & Wheels had two in stock of the first lego l needed. Then Aaron the owner told me he had the scooby doo mystery machine in the Kent store. In order to save me time he went to the other store and brought it back to Factoria for me within two days as he knew I had to fly to Australia with the gifts early tomorrow morning. This was above and beyond amazing customer service and I am so grateful for his help in securing the lego gifts for my aussie nephew who is deprived of this lego as it's ridiculously expensive and hard to buy there. In terms of location there's free and easy parking in front of the store. The inside of the store is well laid out, organized and clean. The prices are fantastic for lego and cheaper than Amazon. I've been coming here for the past few months to check if there were anything interesting. Ended up buying a few products here and there. They definitely have some cool finds. I will say most of their legos are second hand so don't be to surprised if you are missing a piece here and there. Something I dislike about this place is that their customer services is very hit or miss. There Is one employee in particular who always sounded and felt uninterested, condescending, and kind of snobby. You'll be asking and communicating with him and he'll focusing on building something and it felt kind of awkward to really get important information out of him. Additionally, pricing wise kind of in the higher ends even for sets that are still available at a regular Lego store. I understand they need to make a profit however some of these sets weren't even retired yet and there was a crazy markup. Additionally if you are looking to buy a specific mini figure they don't come with their accessory from their original set. Lastly I will say if you are thinking of reselling or trading it isn't worth it. I'd recommend just posting it on Facebook unless you want 50% market rate for store credit or even less in cash. read more

This store is quite incredible!! We took my nephew here after grabbing some Katsu burger. Looking around at the prebuilt LEGO's and old school ones at that!! There are some crazy large ones and some tiny ones. They have used LEGO sets and brand new in the box. They also will buy yours from you if you have some goodies. THE absolute best part was the bin of LEGO pieces. It's an incredible way to recycle! My nephew built 4 cars out of his finds from that bin. They also have a legit character bin where you can build part police part Gardner LEGO characters. If you're kid is into building with their imagination... this is the spot. read more

Grrr! My 12YO son paid $120+ of his own money for a used Harry Potter set. The owner assured him that it was complete, but it wasn't; he's missing a 1x6 third-thickness plate. If we drove all the way back there and complained, we might get the piece for free, but that's a long drive since we live in Shoreline WA. So I have mixed feelings about this place. I have been going to Brick and Wheels for about a year and each time I either have had a great experience or terrible, and this last one was terrible warranting this review. Some of the customer service is amazing and others awful. I usually buy my bricks in bulk because I am working on a specific project. They have it laid out nicely where you can pick through the bulk bin or you can sort through the bins by color which cost more and in which I agree is fair. My last visit I asked to look through the already sorted by color bins and the employee said they cost more which I already knew, I sat down sorted through 2 colored bins for about an hour and then moved to the bulk table and filled a smaller bag. When I went to checkout, the employee started picking out piece by piece and charging me based off of each piece I had spent an hour sorting. This was the first time I had an employee picking out each piece and charging me this way which ended up being way too expensive on top of the fact I had sorted through them for an hour. The employee could have been more polite about it as well. All in all this place is great, but need more consistency with pricing. During my good experiences there it always made me want to come back and keep spending my money which is the only reason I gave it a 3 star review. If I had the same great experience every time this would easily be a 5 star review, but now I think I will take my chances elsewhere. Legos should be fun and my last experience was just not that. My teen and i stopped by last week and it was just us and one employee in the store. The person behind the counter was too busy doing something to even look up from his computer to answer pricing and selling related questions. My kid is an avid Lego collector and he knows his stuff. He was prepared to purchase a big set with his own money. However, the employee was too cool for school and was terse, condescending and generally a jerk, and we ended up walking away. I think if you're looking for family friendly sets to do with young kids, this place probably caters to you. If you are a collector and want to talk shop with other passionate Lego fans, look elsewhere. read more

They might carry hard to find Lego but buy used and guaranteed sets at your own risk. We stopped by while out on the Eastside on Saturday and my husband bought an expensive Star Wars set and once it was opened at home we found that 11 pieces were missing. When we called the store the person on the phone didn't seem too surprised or apologetic and said we could swing by and pick them up. That's a 40 minute drive for us to "swing by" and grab pieces that were supposed to already be in the box. We went in to pick up the missing pieces today, and unfortunately didn't take the time to inventory all 649 pieces before going back to pick up what we thought were the ONLY 11 missing pieces, because when we got home and worked on building it we found out that there were an additional 4 missing pieces. Considering this is a specialty shop and the cost of some of the items they carry you would assume that they're being honest when they say that it is a complete set. Very frustrating. read more

Just popped by this place for the first time after I went to get some food in the same plaza. They've been opened since Nov of 2015. They are a giant lego shop and they have actually models of Star Wars legos built in the store. They also have some great designs in general and they do custom lego mosaics. You can fill your own custom lego sets to take home and they also sell lego bases for you to use. People are chill too. read more

BUYER BEWARE!!!! We were always fan of this store until today. We purchased two 48x48 peg base plates for $16 each. The gentleman at the store told us that they sold for $17 each brand new. Imagine how surprised I was later on today when I found them on Amazon and at Target for $11.99 each. When I called Bricks & Wheels, in so many words, they told me they made it clear to me that there were no returns BUT would accept the return if I drove the products to his store right now. That is 40 minutes one way at this time of day. Having an appointment in 40 minutes, I told him I could not bring them today but could bring them back Friday. He said that was unacceptable. So - I am out $8. Will the world end? No. Will I shop there again? No. Why would I? There is no benefit. Just buy used online. Lesson learned - just because they are in a store doesn't mean they will stand behind their product. read more

This store is the best Lego store in the Pacific Northwest. I have been to ones in Oregon, California, Washington and Arizona and this one is the cleanest and best priced store there is plus the selection there is better than even the actual Lego store at Bellevue Square. This store has new sets still in stores and older sets that are years old all for amazing prices. Plus when I go into this store all of the staff are extremely friendly and go out of their way to help me with whatever I need or to try to get my request in plus they never make me feel like I am annoying them or inconveniencing them at all. Also David who works here which another guy said was creepy, never made me once feel uncomfortable (I am 24 and get hit on quite a bit and am often made uncomfortable at other stores) actually he went above and beyond to make sure I left happy and with what I wanted and didn't try ripping me off just because I was a lady. It is so hard to find stores like this where the people working are completely honest and care about your satisfaction over a sale. They have earned my business for life and I will always reccomend then to all of my friends and family, and honestly I couldn't reccomend this store more. read more
