I should back that right up. When I say "stuff" in the preceding passages, I mean specifically toys. "Stuff" is not a good word to use here, as this is a collectible shop in the more traditional sense, with posters and lunchboxes and various other non-toy items as well. As I said about EntertainMart in Ogden, this is the kind of place one could easily spend hours. Here it is probably more leaning towards enjoyment than necessity, but it is very easy to miss thing with the sort of haphazard way a lot of the goods are laid out. There is certainly quite a lot of inventory in a relatively small space, so that's probably not helping things, either, but a re-organization would be useful here. Definitely should be on your radar if you're on the toy collector side or if you're in the area and you have younger kids for whom you don't want to spend buckets of money for new toys. Appeal is probably somewhat limited outside of those two factions, though...

I don't care what industry expert Tony Koester says. Something ain't right. If you had confidence in your product, if you believed it worked, you would help me instead of blaming me. Really. Karl Saturday, February 20, 2016 4:51 PM Here's the situation: A dealer asked me to rate Bullfrog Snot behind an unsatisfied customer who returned it. I tried it on an a poor pulling O gauge engine of mine. I had a lot of trouble getting Bullfrog Snot to spread on to the wheels like the online video shows. I thinned some with water and successfully got it to spread on to the wheels. The next day the wheels felt promisingly grippy. But, traction was not even slightly improved when the engine was placed on the track. The only change in performance was because wheels were electrically insulated from the rails which caused the engine to run poorly. I figured I must be doing something wrong, so I wrote the company an email. I received a curt response which told me to read the instruction sheet. I looked over the instructions that came with the jar and there is no mention of thinning. I checked the Bullfrog Snot website where there is mention of thinning with water, so I guess I did it right. Since the company is apparently unwilling to try to help me figure it out, I am now prepared to confidently recommend against the tiny and ridiculously overpriced jar of failed promises. Karl Ask A Question: Karl Abbott One of our local train stores, Almosta Junction, gave me a jar because it had been returned by an unhappy customer. The customer complained he couldn't get it to go on evenly. I watched your videos and tried it. The jar I have is too thick. It's like almost dried paint. It does not go on smoothly like in the videos. Is there any way to thin this stuff? The directions say it can be cleaned up with water. I tried thinning a small sample with water. It seemed to go on similar to the videos. As I'm waiting for it to dry, it seems the water isn't working well. It has a tendency to bead up, kind of like water on waxed car. v/r, Karl Please remove me On Feb 20, 2016, at 3:42 PM, BULLFROG wrote: Please read the instruction sheet Sent: Saturday, February 20, 2016 1:33 PM Subject: Re: Ask a question at our store My question is can it be thinned? It seemed a bit small for O. Karl On Feb 20, 2016, at 10:16 AM, BULLFROG wrote: Scuff the wheel with some fine sandpaper. The few times I tried it their recommendation was worth the purchase. Now with almost 500 games in my collection and using BoardGameGeek for most game news, reviews and players' community, I only stop in for board games occasionally if they happen to have something new on hand for as fair a price as anywhere--sometimes works out, sometimes not. Today the stock on hand in the Clearfield store is quite impressive--less so in Bountiful. Indeed the 10% off MSRP prices are less common now than they once were yet I still recommend End Zone for its generally reliable effort to put some 'friendly' into the Friendly Local Game Store shopping experience. That said, if the small staff are tied up chatting with anyone else, the huge amount of stock can be challenging to navigate and find what you're searching for among the stuffed and cluttered shelves. I stop in End Zone more often now for the large LEGO store that now occupies half of the former retail space -- with the DnD and collectible miniatures/card games that one were there having expanded to the retail space next door. Their business has grown a lot! As a frequent LEGO buyer I find End Zone is an awesome store for adult fans and kids. As a 'gold' account member they get to stock many of the large and exclusive sets one normally only finds at LEGO brand stores or online. In pandemic times LEGO exclusives have frequently been out of stock online, so End Zone has proved to be a worthwhile stop for finding what I was seeking. Not always, but regularly. It's unfortunate that one doesn't earn any of the gifts-with-purchase or other loyalty rewards that LEGO offers for purchases through their brand & online stores--which tempers some of my purchases here--but at least End Zone prices their sets at MSRP. Retired set availability can vary widely of course. And End Zone doesn't carry any of the Build-A-Minifigure kiosk exclusives. But at least they are not like the Teton Toys store at Farmington Station who price their LEGO retail stock far above MSRP.
