I just love coming to this gem in Downtown Davidson. Being a Davidson resident, I think it is…read moreimportant to support our small local businesses. This place is so unique and special. I shop here regularly and truly enjoy the experience. The Village Store is part of our quaint Main Street area not to be overlooked. You can shop for housewares, local foods, boutique clothing and jewelry, toys, Lake Life and Lake Norman local gifty items, like tshirts, pillows, tea towels, etc. There is so much to look at here, and trust me, you will find something you love! The staff there is very friendly and the store is so well stocked. The prices are very fair compared to other boutique style stores, but I'd say the Village Store has the biggest selection of home and gift items in the Lake area. They have begun putting out their fall decor, and they really have some beautiful displays during the Christmas season. I really enjoy shopping here.

They have a lot of unique items here, too, encouraging lengthy browsing. I was able to find a perfect gift for Christmas, and continue to visit this store every time I'm in Davidson. The staff are very welcoming and friendly, too. I only wish they were open later on Saturday night (like 7 or 8pm) so we could visit after dinner, rather than having to go before. Definitely check this place out of you are looking for a gift for yourself or someone else!

I'm way overdue on this review!…read more Marshalls & HomeGoods in Huntersville is hands down one of my favorite spots for exclusive finds. In my opinion, they have the best selection, and their exceptional customer service keeps me coming back! During my move, I spent a lot of time at this location, buying beautiful home decor, meeting new people, and even helping shoppers choose pieces for their homes! What can I say? I'm a people person who loves home interiors at a great price! Whether your style is Japandi, Bohemian, or Farmhouse, the Huntersville Marshalls & HomeGoods is the go-to destination. Their selection of artwork, rugs, lamps, and accessories makes it easy to bring your interior visions to life. This location boasts an impressive selection that's hard to find anywhere else, and their staff is top tier! I've had so many great shopping experiences here, but one visit stands out the most. I purchased a stunning rug, only to realize later that it didn't match the bedding I had ordered from Portugal. Since the bedding took longer to arrive due to international shipping, I was worried about exchanging the rug. I called the store, explained my situation, and mentioned that I had my receipt and original tags. That evening, I met with the manager, Jamie, who was incredibly kind and understanding. It was clear that she genuinely enjoys her job and values her customers. She made the exchange process smooth and stress-free, and I ended up finding an even more beautiful rug that matched my bedding perfectly! To top it off, I had help from two amazing team members, the young man with the great accent who helped me load the rug into my car and the lovely young woman with the cute twists and warm smile. These three were the HomeGoods dream team! Their outstanding customer service turned what could have been a frustrating experience into a fantastic one. Fast forward a few months later.. I'm on the hunt again, and I hear someone call my name. I look up, and there's Jamie, all smiles and radiating positive energy! I was so impressed that she remembered me, given how busy this store is. Jamie is truly a gem, she's like sunshine in human form and puts the "good" in HomeGoods! If you're looking for great finds and even better service, visit the Huntersville Marshalls & Homegoods.

Cute shop, surprisingly extensive selection of used books, tote bags, toys, & other fun…read moreknick-knacks. I went there for the first time yesterday to trade-in some books. The process was super easy. I went partly in hopes of finding a used copy of a novel my Book Club has been wanting to read, but isn't at the library. I was shocked/overjoyed to find TWO copies, both of which I purchased on the spot. Great value for sure. Can't wait to go back & browse their selection more fully when I have more time. (I will definitely be bringing more books to trade-in also.) *The shopping center where this is located has a lot of other fun gems also- check out Ferrucci's!

I love physical books, but don't buy them often because I have a Kindle and because they've gotten expensive over the years. HOWEVER, give me a deal and it's on! HAHA! I had never been to this book store until the sale. It's small, but there's such a good selection of used books. The used books are also in really good shape. The team member on site the day we went was GREAT! He took the time to assist us in looking for books on our lists and giving us recommendations for other books to read. I also like the idea that you can bring the books back that you purchase, for a percentage off on your next book. Check them out, explore the selection they have, and support local!
