Well, if you want any type of collectible, this is the shop. I'm sure my friend's dad is having the last laugh because one of the figures that I know he had sold at Toys R Us for $2.95 is now sold for $1500.

This pandemic has offered us the opportunity to spend a lot of time together, so we decided to return to Larry's RC to finally make an investment. The store's stock has been rather low as many other people in the area have had the same thoughts during the pandemic. We were lucky enough to snag a Traxxas Slash Ultimate 4x4...their last one. I really enjoyed my experience while making my first RC purchase. The staff at Larry's RC wore masks and kept their distance. I felt as though I was in a safe atmosphere. I received all of the information I needed with regard to the model I purchased as well as got the tour of their extensive parts selection. (they have moved since then) to snag some free comic books on Free Comic Book Day. I've been coming back ever since! My son loves to collect Star Wars action figures. I am also a child, so I love to browse and buy the occasional trinket or toy. The old location was a little small and tucked away in a relatively crowded strip mall on the bustling intersection of Hall Rd and Hayes. The drive there was frustrating enough to limit my appearances there. They have since moved to a new location...terrifyingly close by. Now it's super convenient to visit the new store. The strip mall they moved to is much less busy and the location is way easier to spot from Van Dyke. The interior of the store is jam packed with lots of collectibles. They have a variety of wrestling, GI Joe, Star Wars and Funko Pops to name a few things. There's so much more there too (like superhero themed comic books). With as much stuff as Funky Town Toys has, the inside of the store is quite clean and spacious. It's always a pleasure to walk around and look at all of the potential money I can spend on stuff! If you're into old and new action figures and collectibles, you should take a stroll into Funky Town Toys. There's lots to choose from...and if you're looking for something in particular...just ask and they will talk with you...and maybe they can find something for you. Seriously...I love this place. They always have a huge selection and the staff are incredibly nice. They also know a ton about collectibles. There's a parking lot right out in front of the store, but if it's full, there's a small public parking lot right around the corner! I did the ground work for you...now you have no other excuses. Go check them out. Thanks! Brian S.

The store was like half Pokémon cards and half pro trump signs, people can support who they want but political propaganda doesn't really belong in a store meant for kids imo but whatever, but when you get in and see half the signs have the F word on them or other explicit things it becomes more of an issue. I could have possibly even looked past the political stuff and the explicit words all over the inside but not helping a 6 year old who saved his own money to buy a Pokémon card you act like you are selling just doesn't make sense, it's like the dude was trying to be as rude as possible. I bought my son 3 of the same card online when we left, I think it cost me around $20 for all 3 shipped, no idea why this guy wanted to ruin my kids day but I'm sure I'd rather light my money on fire vs giving it to this store, based on the condition of the store it won't be around long anyways, it was filthy and disorganized to add to all the other issues.
