I went in to find two games that were unpopular and one game that was semi- popular at the time. I was able to get a hold of the semi-popular game and I was surprised that they had it in stock, simply because the store had a limited number of available games. On top of the disappointment of not being able to find all of the games I came for, the service was terribly slow. There was one employee helping at least eight customers. I was at the front of the line and it took him about 20 minutes to get the game and "prepare" it for purchase. I feel like if you are going to shop at Game Headz you should call ahead, see if they have the game you want, and ask them to prepare it for you ahead of time. -TRQ

I wouldn't call it a "scam" but I wish their staff was more forthcoming about selling games from another region. If you know to check everything closely before buying, this seems like a nice shop, but if you're less of an expert, you might want to shop somewhere with better buyer protection.

The store felt friendly and welcoming, and the staff were patient while checking everything out. They explained that they don't refurbish items, only resell, so because one of the controllers had a sticky button and a worn joystick pad, they couldn't accept the consoles. It made sense, and they were clear about it. Even though we didn't end up selling, they were still helpful and took the time to guide us, which I appreciated. Overall, still a positive experience.

It is worth the stop if you are in St. Clair Shores, especially on the weekend when there is the small "farmer's market" with very fresh-looking fruits and vegetables.

These tables take up about half of the shop, so it was very impressive to see and all very organized! The rest of the shop has a ton of card/board games in one corner, a long display case filled with collectible cards of all kinds (namely, Pokemon cards is what my friends were here for), a corner for DND books, dice, etc., and then a few end cap style shelves with other game and fandom accessories. There's something for everyone here and it was all super lovely! The pricing here is perhaps $1-2 more expensive than a few card shops more local to us, but they had a really lovely and extensive collection, some cards which we had never seen before either, so it was worth it! We met some people that were really into D+D. They told us the different guides we can use and videos we can watch to learn how to play. They also told us to check out the event calendar to see dates when others play. When we walked over to the calendar, we saw the tables and game board on a shelf. I talked to an employee and she was super nice. We found out that you can bring food and drinks in ( be very careful though). You can bring in your own games or xards. You can also grab one on the shelf and play with it. She actually showed us a demo of how to play one. We had a lot of fun. We were told that there is a game night on Tuesdays. Most people met each other here, and they come to play every week. We would love to come back with some of my siblings to eat and then play a few new games. If you have questions about any games, the staff are always very helpful. We will be back in very soon!

It is literally here is a binder how much. Then they take every single card out so you stand there putting everything back like you are the problem. They offered me one dollar for full arts. I had about one hundred forty of them. I asked for one fifty which was more than fair since two of the cards alone were worth over one hundred twenty. The response I got was just why. They also own the shop in Clawson which somehow has even less inventory and even worse customer service. I watched a customer bring in a binder with vintage cards and other great stuff. The owner offered fifty dollars. It was a joke. I said I would at least look at it and he told me not in his store. I said fine I can look outside. He said no again. When I said that I just do not want to see them rip off nice people the way they tried to rip me off at the other shop he told me to get out and took back the one hundred fifty plus cards I was about to buy. If you go here only buy sealed and do not let them hassle you. They know when someone is strapped and they try to take advantage. I would never come back after how I was treated. If anyone else has had a similar experience please share it so people know what to expect before they walk in.

At any given point, there will be people at the tables in the middle of the store (spanning from the front to the back) gathering together to play various different card games, board games, or some proper Dungeons and Dragons! The very front of the store houses their clearance section and then as you go back, you'll hit their sports cards and memorabilia section, but in the proper back of the store is where the FUN is with Pokemon cards, DND merch, and so much more to be checking out! The owner and workers here are so friendly and they know their regulars well and strike up friendly, helpful conversation with all customers! You truly feel welcome here and there's nothing I love more than connecting with other people over the same passions and geeking out together! An absolutely delightful spot that I want to be around forever and ever in this quaint, local downtown area!
