Celebrated our anniversary here and we were not disappointed! The food and cocktails were amazing and the friendly service from our sever, Jason/Jordan? Was even better! He made our night soo special, it makes me feel terrible I can't remember his name. We ordered the Kobe Steak, Lamb Special and the crab and shrimp cakes as an app. - all which were devoured in entirety! To finish off the evening we indulged in the most decadent molten chocolate cake. YUMMMMM!!! We went here for the first time since we moved to Redmond to celebrate for our 31st wedding anniversary. We were not overly impressed with the food that we got for the price. I ordered the Ribeye medium well and when I got it it was rare and bloody. My wife ordered the grilled Salmon and it was charred a lot on the bottom, and took away from the flavor because it had the burnt taste. The atmosphere was quaint and relaxed. It was a nice place but, for the price I would have expected better food quality and steaks cooked to order! Having to send my steak back should not have happened and totally disrupted the meal. The steak was no where near Medium Well at all so, they don't cook the steaks to any real standard levels. We will have to really think if the Brickhouse is worth the money! After this first experience I am not going to write them off but, if the next time is the same or close then it will be decided. read more

This is our favorite steak house in town! Robert was our server this time. He was so knowledgeable on the menu and the specials!! Our son got his first filet mignon he loved it so juicy and tender. The Brickhouse really is a gem in downtown redmond. The small dining room gives an exclusive feel. The menu offers dinners with fish, steak, pasta, soup, salad. Often they offer a beautiful rack of lamb on special as well as a fresh market fish. I have the lamb any time I can and it's always beautiful and perfectly cooked. We always receive great service and the drinks are good. A great place for date night or to take guests for dinner. read more

Food here is good but pricey. Ive ordered the lamb twice and it was excellent. Vegetables were under cooked on friends meal. He didn't eat them. I got prior approval to bring in a 10 inch round Birthday cake for my 86 year old father-in-law. They charged us a $15 dollar cutting cake fee. Never mentioned it at any time. I am perfectly fine to cut my own cake as I made it myself. This was a disappointing move on the waiters part. May have to celebrate elsewhere next time. read more

We went to the Brickhouse for our anniversary. I had the prime rib, she had a salad and bacon wrapped scallops. I have to say that my food was very good. I was a touch disappointed with my veggies (broccoli has to be just right or don't even bother) but the meat was done to specification and the salad was a good portion with fresh greens and other veggies. Our server was quite friendly and helpful (love that water glass being full) and while chatty, not so much as to be annoying. The creme brulee' wasn't as good as homemade but it was nicely flavored with vanilla bean. It was a touch on the runny side, although, not so that it was soupy, but just like slightly underdone pudding. The crust was well fired and even and delish... We had a nice time and if you are in Redmond looking for a nice meal I can recommend the Brickhouse happily. read more

Not recommended. For a prime steakhouse they have shockingly bad steaks. I sent my New York strip back due to multiple nasty gristly bites and I was treated to a lecture about how New York steaks are going to be more "sinewy"... not for $40 bucks it isn't! I actually had to spit out three bites - they were inedible. Just take back the f-ing steak and keep your lecture to yourself. Besides being badly trimmed or just poor quality to begin with, the steak was less than 1" thick when cooked. I've never been to a premium steak place with steaks so thin. It was like a steak from Ponderosa or Golden Corral... My sister had the burger and it was okay. Nothing great. I had the Baked Brie & Roasted Garlic appetizer - it came with a whole head of roasted garlic, still in head form so you have to try to scrape out the garlic with the point of a knife which was a bit inconvenient. Service was exceptionally slow. Server did not seem to know very much about the wine list. Ambiance is nice. It is a cute restaurant in a cute part of the old town. A group of four of us were down in this town for the eclipse, and decided to have dinner here based on the reviews. I was underwhelmed. The food is okay... not great, but fine. I had the scallops and mashed potatoes with (very little!) vegetables. I had creme brulee for dessert which was not the best. Drinks were okay. The wait staff are nice and did seem to genuinely care about providing good service, but the hostess (an otherwise attractive woman) should really engage eye-contact, smile a bit more and be more welcoming (maybe she was having a bad evening). Great food, great service, great atmosphere. Located in downtown Redmond ("Kinda like Bend, but we have parking!"), it was easy to get a reservation on a Thursday (5/25) night. A Yelp check-in got us a free appetizer, so we went for the crabcakes. I'm a crabcake snob, and these were excellent. Lots of crabmeat, minimal filler, and seasoned nicely. Our server, Deborah, could not have been more gracious and welcoming. Service was excellent throughout. Beautiful Wife ordered the beef short rib with 'taters and veggies, I got Osso Buco, typically made with veal shank, but this one's pork--- I suppose veal is on the culinary naughty list. Both entrees were melt-in-your mouth, holy crap this is great, I could eat this for the rest of my life, outstanding. The sides were not just an afterthought to fill out the plate: they were all prepared and cooked perfectly. The drink menu is extensive and presented on an iPad, which is great, though it seemed to befuddle the couple sitting behind us. The exposed brick interior is cool and classy, but a little loud--- mainly due to the guy sitting a few tables away, six Coors Lights to the wind, who apparently thought that the best way to impress a girl on a date is TO TALK REALLY LOUDLY. Great customer service! I seriously think every person working except the cook, either picked up a plate, brought me bread or a to go box, or simply asked if I needed anything. The bartender Richard was actually my arbiter since I was sitting at the buddy bar, and although he was swamped when I first sat down, he didn't miss a beat.
