Loved our experience with The Brick staff! Kasey and her team were instrumental on our special day. Planning everything with her was a breeze. Scheduled, on time, communicative. We hosted our ceremony and reception at BRICK and it was an amazing experience. BRICK offered the flexibility to have the event that we truly wanted. Some of my favorite parts about BRICK were the late event time, no noise ordinance, flexible decor options, flexible vendor options, ample parking and more. The only vendor BRICK requires you to use, is their bar team, which is perfect because they were AMAZING. They were friendly, attentive, fast, and fun to have at the event. We supplied our own alcohol and they did the rest! During the planning stage of the event, BRICK was extremely responsive and helped us with every tiny detail. We worked closely with Hannah, Sabrina, and Victoria. I would absolutely choose BRICK again! read more

I recently celebrated my retirement celebration with BRICK at their Historic Decatur location and couldn't have hoped for a better experience! Hannah was so very helpful and informative and Sabrina and the bar managers were AMAZING!! My guests loved the charm of the building, the ease of finding it (including the parking - which at Liberty Station, is a very hot commodity), the decor, layout of amenities... just the total package!! The lighting proved PHENOMENAL for my photos and the scrolling picture projector was the icing on the cake!! BRICK and their staff truly made my once-in-lifetime event a flawless event I'll never be able to forget! read more

BRICK is fantastic. We opted to pay for wedding coordinator services with BRICK very early on in the process of planning our wedding. We were lucky enough to have Lindsay as our coordinator and we have nothing but good things to say about her. Lindsay was imperative to making our day a success and really keeping all vendors in line all the way through the end of our wedding day. She was so funny, helpful and readily available for any random questions that we may have had. Lindsay! We love you bro! BRICK as a venue itself is so so great, it's open and ready to be made into whatever you want for your special day. Pricing of the venue is also great in comparison to other venues that we looked at. Parking is ample and location is unbeatable. We would highly recommend using BRICK for any special occasion! read more

Gorgeous venue! I attended a wedding Friday and this was a lovely space! It seemed like it would fit a decent amount of people. I want to say this wedding was maybe 100 people. It was big and spacious and I loved the brick element and the garden lights up top. It seemed very customizable to what every couple would want. We had cocktail hour outside - next to traffic was slightly weird but still nice with the band the couple hired. read more

This venue is INCREDIBLE. The high ceilings, white beams contrasting with the red brick makes for such a charming canvas with the flexibility to really make it your own with personalized touches. Wow!! BRICK was awesome. The location of the venue was perfect. Close to the airport, hotels, brewery, restaurants, and a karaoke bar. It made the entire weekend very enjoyable to plan different events for our guests. We opted to pay for the month of coordination at BRICK and worked with Lindsay. She was great!! We met often, and she was very thorough with all the details. We often changed details about our timeline, and were very particular about specific dances and videos we wanted played on the projector screen. She was able to make all of our dreams come true. We were blown away when we entered the venue the evening of our wedding. It was beautiful! The ambiance was incredible with the brick walls, string lights, candles, and greenery throughout. It felt so magical. We also booked all of our vendors through the recommendation list BRICK provided. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone who wants to custom build their venue. It's such a great spot to have a romantic ceremony and an epic party! 10/10! read more

Our experience planning our wedding at Brick was truly amazing. We were looking for a venue that was flexible and allowed us to really personalize every aspect of the event to make it very us and Brick checked all of those boxes. Aside from the actual venue being gorgeous (LOVE the openness and historic look and feel with a modern spin), the staff there are such a joy to work with. We ended up adding on the 3 month coordinator package and I highly recommend it to everyone. Trust me, I am a project planner and there were so many things I didn't even think of when it came to my own wedding lol. It is also just so worth it for the peace of mind and to ensure your day goes as smoothly as possible. Our coordinator Cassidy was SO amazing. She walked us through every step of the way and made it a point to really get to know us and our vision. The monthly calls were super helpful and she even assigned us "homework" as far as things we needed to get done by a specific time (we love a work back schedule and checklist). One thing I really loved about this venue is they have a list of vendors they work with often and all of them had raving reviews. I was absolutely dreading having to go through so many different vendors in the area and hunting people down myself so this made the planning process so much easier and Cassidy worked directly with all of them for all contracts and planning! Overall, 100/10 I would recommend this venue to anyone and everyone!! read more

For what we wanted as newlyweds, BRICK was able to fulfill our dream wedding and even exceeded our expectations! The staff are all so patient and kind when it comes to planning and communication. We're so thankful for Victoria, Cassidy, and Sabrina. Cassidy was our event planner/month-of coordinator and we couldn't speak more highly of how she worked with us so patiently despite all the decisions that needed to be made and last-minute additions or changes. She always had a smile on her face and great energy that translated to our actual wedding day where we received compliments on her event coordination and overall charisma. She was able to complete everything we envisioned :) Our guests literally told us that our wedding felt like a movie and that the environment of BRICK made it feel warm, fun, and welcoming! I will 100% vouch for BRICK if you want to have a wedding based on your vision. People are still talking about our wedding til this day! A little disclaimer though, if you do choose to DIY your wedding, just know that every little thing comes with a price tag! However, the positive aspect about it is that you are able to personalize it with whichever vendor you desire! Therefore, it's still worth it! read more

We used Brick for our wedding venue in February 2024 and I can't say enough good things about the venue or the team. I really liked that we could take the space and customize it exactly how we wanted. It was more work on our part than going with a venue that had preset vendors but the entire Brick team made the process seamless and super easy to navigate. It also made our special day more "us" because we chose the vendors we wanted and not every vendor is going to match every couples needs/personality. I definitely recommend doing a planning service with them if you choose this venue as the attention to detail is impeccable and takes alot of the pressure off the couple. From day one I knew that the team had it handled and would take care of any issues that came up throughout the planning process and the day of. They clearly communicated what needed to be done, kept us on a timeline to make sure everything was completed on time and made sure the day of that everything went seamlessly. They have a great list of vendors they provided which allowed us the option to choose what worked best for us and suited our needs. We couldn't have been happier with the vendors we chose and all in all everything came together exactly how we wanted it too. Thank you to everyone at Brick for your hard work and dedication to making our wedding everything we imagined and more! read more

My husband and I cannot thank the entire Brick team enough for making our wedding a day we will never forget! Our guests couldn't stop raving about the venue and said it felt so unique. With this venue, you do have to customize every detail and bring in each vendor, but they have an amazing list of preferred vendors we worked with that knocked it out of the park!!! The Beverage & Event Manager Sabrina was also a joy to work with and provided great beverage quantities so we felt more than prepared shopping for the alcohol. We worked with Cassidy for planning and with every touch base call, she made us feel 100% at ease and kept us on track for the big day. She was an ABSOLUTE JOY to work with before the wedding, and on our wedding day she went above and beyond. She made our day one we will never forget! Cassidy is a true professional that orchestrates an entire wedding with ease and makes you, your family and friends all feel supported and cared for. From setting our tables, to placing decor, and the countless extra touches she added to make our reception sparkle - there are no words!! She even had our specialty drinks ready in-hand right after we said "I do!" Not only were my husband and I so appreciative, but my parents also loved working with Cassidy for the drop-off and tear-down process. She handled that FLAWLESSLY and packed up our long list of personal items and decor by the end of the night for my parents to drive away with. Our biggest goal was to feel present on our wedding day and soak up every moment!! The best part was Cassidy kept us to our schedule, but we never felt like we were rushing to check off the next "thing" on our list (marriage license, pictures, cake cutting, etc.). Her thoughtful planning made it feel so natural and she made sure we had enough time to enjoy every moment while still getting through our planned schedule. If you're looking for a blank canvas that you can design any way you wish, BRICK is for you! The entire team at BRICK is professional, communicative, organized, and a pleasure to work with. Our guests loved the venue location, the venue itself, and the bartenders. We honestly don't think that we could have found a better venue for the price that we paid. We definitely recommend paying to have Lindsay as your wedding planner because she made the entire process stress-free! We worked with Lindsay for about 1 year and she was the absolute best to work with! We were iffy on getting a wedding planner at first, but it ended up being the best investment we made. We planned everything through virtual means (Zoom, email) which means we didn't have to physically be in San Diego, which is huge for us since we live 2 hours away! We booked BRICK for our wedding reception after looking for a high value, reasonably-priced venue in the San Diego area. Our venue coordinator, Cassidy, did a fantastic job making sure every detail happened according to plan. She communicated with us every step of the way leaving no stone unturned. BRICK was absolutely beautiful and a perfect venue for my wedding. I got married in August of 2023, the weather was amazing so we enjoyed the front grass area with a bar and yard games. The inside was spacious and so pretty with the ceiling string lights. There is a nice area for the entry and welcome table, there was room for a lounge area (rented through cedar and pine events), sweetheart table by the beautiful arch door, the caterer (Mexico City Cuisine) had room to set up buffet style, and there was still plenty of room for tables and a dance floor. The Brick staff was organized and professional. I worked with Victoria, Lindsay, and Sabrina. I HIGHLY recommend having a Corrdinator for any special event. Lindsay made not only my day easy but the whole month leading up to it stress free. tl;dr: for folks who want to customize their special day/experience for themselves, and who want to work with the best professionals in the business, BRICK is the place for you! For the folks who are looking at the positive reviews, trying to figure out whether they're legit or not--BRICK is the absolute BEST. My fianceé and I chose BRICK because of its flexibility in terms of hosting a large crowd (160+ people), its flexibility in terms of pretty much any preference we had, and a setup we thought would maximize the amount of fun we could have at our wedding (you could dance all night, no noise ordinance, multiple areas to hang out, etc., etc.). We got all of that in spades. For the cost-minded: we chose this venue because we were frustrated by going to a bunch of wedding venues that charged a bunch for food and drinks, with a limited amount of flexibility in the layout, and would end up closing at ~10:00PM. We wanted somewhere that we could fill out the way we wanted it to look, while making sure that we didn't feel overcharged or undercut in any one aspect of the services we were paying for. We spent approximately ~40K in total on the venue, food, alcohol, photography, floral arrangements, furniture rentals, until just about midnight. Given that most other venues in the area cost around there for their base package, we were SUPER happy with this. Plus, we had the added benefit of seeing where every single dollar went. The staff was nothing short of exceptional. We chose the "one month out" option for wedding planning, and were more than pleasantly surprised with that option. Lindsay was phenomenal. My fianceé and I were planning this wedding from the East Coast--Lindsay made our ideas and our vision come to life. She helped coordinate everything we could have asked for. She was at the dang church when we were getting married, helping coordinate! It was like having our own personalized special ops squad. The bartenders were fantastic--we had requested some specialized "His" & "Hers" drinks, and they went above and beyond on them. They're just wonderful people, whose good energy made the evening that much better. The preferred vendors were also incredible--everything they did was exceptionally punctual, professional, and went without any hitch that anyone could have noticed. It's worth mentioning that BRICK's preferred vendors are folks they have longstanding relationships with, and as a result, the vendors know how to operate with one another, and in the venue, seamlessly. They also won't try to nickel-and-dime you; in fact, our florist Mike went so far as to last-minute help us out with beautiful arrangements for our bridesmaids when we realized we had mis-counted the number of bridesmaids that needed a bouquet! This is just one of the many examples of the vendors and staff at BRICK going above and beyond to help us out. Just a wonderful, wonderful experience overall...can't recommend BRICK and the folks there enough! read more

My wife and I decided on BRICK when we went to San Diego at the beginning of last year and we had looked at BRICK and one other venue, but everything at BRICK stood out. We met with Victoria for a tour and she was very great at explaining everything. We picked the venue, my wife planned the whole thing, and towards the end we hired Lindsay who is the planning coordinator and BRICK and she did an amazing job taking over everything that my wife had planned. I sat in on some meetings and Lindsay was very attentive to my wife, responded promptly, and always answered any questions we had. We went with their vendor Mexico City and the food was just as good as when we tasted it before the wedding. When we walked into the venue it was everything my wife could have wanted and more. Lindsay did an amazing job, everything looked beautiful. Thank you Lindsay. I also want to thank Sabrina who was the beverage manager, her bartenders were AWESOME and we got a lot of compliments on the drinks, the venue, and everyone's overall experience with everything. read more

We absolutely loved our experience at BRICK. A 24 hour venue, what is better than that?!? But the experience at BRICK just kept getting better and better. With that said, our wedding was everything we could ask for and more. Even the planes overhead became a fun drinking game we kept going all weekend long and you didn't notice once the music got going. Our wonderful coordinator Lindsay was worth every penny and we know she was a big reason why everything went so smoothly. This review is for their recent winter open house. We had booked a set of tickets on Eventbrite back on January 23rd. It stated that the event was going to be held on Wednesday February 6th. Our group enjoyed happy hour at a restaurant across the street prior to the 6 pm start time. When a couple of us walked over to BRICK, the venue was dark and empty! It turned out that in an e-mail reminder sent on February 1st, the date of the open house had been changed to Monday February 4th. However, the e-mail title made no mention that the date had been moved up two days earlier. It was only when we clicked on a PDF attachment that the updated date appeared on the tickets. There was never a notice posted on BRICK's Facebook page of a date change either. I don't understand how such a snafu was allowed to happen without the proper advance communication being issued to those impacted, especially from an organization who specializes in event planning. Needless to say, we had 15 very disappointed people that evening. read more

This venue. The staff. The location. Everything about this venue was bliss. When we first went to San Diego we met with Victoria, extremely knowledgeable about the venue, the vendors, and every possible question we could've had. We had seen one other vendor after BRICK, but something about BRICK was special to me from the start. We ended up booking with BRICK for our wedding. We were looking for a coordinator and since we had already been in communication with Lindsay, she had to be the perfect choice so we went with her. From the moment we booked Lindsay to the final moment of closing out the venue she was pure perfection. She communicated, she was efficient, she got the job done, and not to mention has the sweetest heart and constantly made time to video chat me, call me, and email me. Sabrina & her bartenders were GOLD. The drinks were great, they were SO MUCH FUN and they did an absolutely amazing job. I have absolutely no regrets on this venue.
