Brick Burger
Willy M.

In town during Spring Training, coworkers and I came by to check this place out for lunch. We've been to other nearby restaurants, so we thought to mix it up and give Brick & Barrel a go. It's in Jupiter Town Center/Abacoa area. It wasn't busy when we came by, so we were able to choose our own table. Not a large lunch menu, delay in our drink orders because the server spilled the drinks on the way to the table. One of us, not me, never tried poutine before, so we decided to order the mini-poutine as an appetizer. It was just ok. Fries were fine but the cheese curds were quite cold and the gravy wasn't that hot to melt the curds. As for my lunch, I decided to order the Brick Burger, it was just ok as well, not much to brag about. 2 bacon strips, bacon jam, and goat cheese with your burger, comes with a basket of fries. My coworkers got the crispy chicken sandwich, they had no issues with that. Service was ok, prices are what we thought it would be for dining out. Other than that, pretty standard lunch visit, walked back to work and watched a Spring Training game, we lost.

The smell and sight of the smoker outside the restaurant is what drew us in on a gray Sunday afternoon. My husband and I both wanted items from the smoker, so I ordered the Reuben, which had some smoked brisket in addition to pastrami. My husband ordered the smoked Philly cheese steak. Both sandwiches were excellent! When I ordered, I asked for no cheese and sauerkraut on the side, both of which came on top of my sandwich. I'm not a big fan of sending food back, so I just removed them myself. However, we were literally one of two tables in the entire restaurant, and considering our waitress did not write our order down, it's always a little annoying when it comes out wrong.

This was my first time eating here, but third time coming in general. We sat outside and think we got forgotten about a little. The burger was a little disappointing. They had two listed on the menu, one a smash burger and the other the brick burger. I ordered the brick burger and the patty seemed like a smash burger as well. I had higher expectations from hearing good things about the place.

We came here for a drink and appetizers after attending the "Jupiter food, wine and spirits" event. We were immediately greeted and seated. They had some pretty awesome specialty drinks. Mine was a lavender gin drink that was delicious. The waitress was super sweet. They charged an extra $2 for extra bread with the feta app. I wish they would have said it was extra when she asked if we wanted extra. Having never been there I would have not ordered it and waited to see what arrived. The poutine was amazing. I have never had it before though so nothing to compare it to. The small charcuterie plate was not worth it at all for the price. It had some nice picked veggies, but we did not want veggies The feta was pretty decent, it had the consistency of hummus and had pistachios on top. The bread was burnt on the edges. I would go back I wanted to try the scotch eggs. Maybe next time.

Found this little brunch gem while finding a place close to the Roger Dean Stadium. Food presentation is on point! We eat with our eyes first, and it's not going unnoticed. Service was not the fastest on our visit, I can tell they can use a few more extra hands. But food was delicious, and fairly large portions. Good menu selection. Brick & Barrel has a fun cozy, welcoming atmosphere, could see myself coming back for a date night. This place would also be fun for a girls night, sipping a wine and sharing the charcuterie board.

The chef and bar staff has revived Brick and Barrel ! The last few months were a bit limboish feeling as the food and drink seemed to be okay but not exactly on par. Fast forward to today ... apps and drinks are FIRE ... great, fresh tastes in the food and incredible drinks! Great wait staff as always - so customer centric !!

The food, drinks, and service were top notch. The burger is amazing. Old fashioned was made perfectly. Wished I lived closer because already wanting the burger again!

Came here for the first time to celebrate my husband's 40th birthday Service was extremely slow but our server was very sweet and did a great job handling our crazy group lol Food was out of this world, drinks were amazing and I will for sure be back!

I went on a dead Tuesday afternoon and sat outside. Service was a little slow, which surprised me because there was maybe 2 other people in the whole place, but I wasn't in a rush. The baked brie was phenomenal. Flakey crust and delicious rhubarb jam inside. 10/10 honestly. The Brussels sprouts were supposed to have bacon in them (I thought), but I couldn't find any. My loss. I didn't mention it to my server because honestly, I was already full. At the very end of my meal, a large group came and sat next to me and they were having a good time, loud and boisterous. Shame because I might have stayed for another drink. Not their fault at all. Would go again!

Fun and tasty cocktails, a great whiskey selection, and delicious food! Highly recommend the pistachio whipped feta & the burgers! Bonus was an awesome singer and a great atmosphere. Update: attended one of their monthly whiskey dinners last night. The food was phenomenal & a perfectly paired 5-course tasting menu. Each level was thoughtfully, flavor crafted to enhance the trait of whiskey served with it bringing out smoky notes, the sweet notes and the herbal flavors. Highly recommended!

It does not have a very extensive menu, but what it does have is unique. It is a very interesting place. They were incredibly welcoming and had live music, but the musicians were unable to play a lot of the songs requested. There is indoor and outdoor seating, although we went through the wrong door and waited around a few seconds until another person told us to go to the front. The hostess was on her phone most of the time, although it was pretty dead when we went so I understand the boredom. It is a cute little place and I will probably go again, just not anytime soon. If you like whiskey or bourbon though, this is definitely a place to go to. If they ever do a brban tasting menu then I would definitely show up for that.

Great place in the Albacoa Town Center with solid happy hour specials. They only had eight beers on draft, but have several others in bottle or a can. I had the mini charcuterie bowl as a happy hour appetizer. It was fantastic, but just a tad less appetizing because it was served in a bowl and not on a charcuterie board or plate yeah it was hard to beat the price at $8. I finished up with their french fries poutine. A little disappointed in this as it lacked in the flavor department and the cheese curds were really cold. All in all it was a nice experience and the servers/bartenders did a great job!

Very tasty place! All of the food was outstanding! From the chicken and burger to the short rib, pork chop and stroganoff. Great portions and very taste. Pork chop is huge! Very good but the farro it sat in was very salty. Only food complaint here. HH old fashions were super good and I also got the purple rain which I wouldn't do again. The lemon foam smelled weird but probably because it's egg whites. Great atmosphere, clean bathrooms, wonderful live music accompanies the tasty food. Honestly food was so good that I'm overlooking the extremely slow service. To the point we would order two drinks at a time so we didn't have to wait. We will be back for sure!

Still great food and service. They still don't send people to tidy up the bathroom. Cool art.

Overpriced drinks and food, obnoxious clientele, and total waste of time. I had one drink and left. $16 for a margarita? Not worth it.

The bartender that cashed us out at the bar was rather rude, as we closed out our tabs before heading to our table for dinner. Our friend wanted to order one more drink while happy hour was still available, but because he was rude she decided not to. Friends had the Gumbo, BBQ Shrimp and Shrimp and Grits which was well liked and arrived hot. My Blackened Shrimp PoBoy was terrible, cold roll and cold shrimp...worst sandwich I've ever had! Hubs had the fried chicken sandwich which was not hot either, something he would not order again. The side of broccoli rabe was cold. Side of Cesar salad had dressing that was way too salty and not palpable. Luckily I asked for the dressing on the side and could control the amount. Later that night my husband realized we were overcharged for our drink. They said they will make an adjustment back to our cc. We will be back but stick with the good dishes and check your bill.

The vibe is super cool, cozy seating, great ambience, dim lighting that feels like a hidden gem. I sat on the comfy couch and ordered sushi from OKA, which was honestly better than ever. Fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. The cocktails were delicious too; strong, creative, and exactly what I wanted for a chill night out. I was having a great time, enjoying my meal and drinks, when disaster struck right at the end. I had literally just finished eating when a huge roach crawled right by my feet on the couch area. It was massive and absolutely disgusting. I jumped out of my seat so fast, thankfully I was done with my food, or I probably would've lost it completely. I didn't scream (which is a miracle because I definitely would have at home), but it was such a gross turn-off. I get that this is Lake Worth and Florida has its bugs, but come on, a roach that big in a dining establishment? That's not okay. You really need to step up the pest control. Also, the bathrooms could use some serious help. They're outdated and feel neglected, definitely in need of an update or renovation to match the rest of the cool vibe. Overall, the sushi shines, the drinks are spot-on, and the atmosphere is fun... but that roach ruined the ending for me, and the bathrooms don't help. Fix those things, and this place could be amazing. Hoping it was just a one-off bad night!

I picked Batch while walking by because it had the cutest vibe but we weren't expecting much. We were greeted by Rachel, the manager, at the host stand. She didn't just lead us to our table, she walked with us. She asked us if we were from the area and what brought us in. It was all small talk but felt genuine. She waited until we were seated to hand us or menus and it didn't feel rushed. Gabby, our server, showed confidence and love for the place when she introduced herself. They make everything from scratch here and Gabby sold us on the eggrolls and mac and cheese to start. However, before those could arrive, Rachel came by with an order of biscuits for us. These were absolutely to die for and the gesture was very kind. The eggrolls, bbq sauce, and ranch were the highlight of our food adventure here. You could tell this was all freshly made. We both ordered burgers and those were very good, hearty, and not greasy. Their house sauce B1 added a perfect element of smokiness to the burger. Gabby's service ensured we always had refills, never had to ask for anything, and the table was always clean. Rachel stopped by and checked on us and also gave us cute glasses to take home with us and coupons to come back for happy hour for some "off menu snacking". So if you're asking if Batch does things differently, they absolutely do. We can't wait to bring our friends next time. Ask for Rachel and Gabby and don't sleep on the eggrolls!
