We have a new teacher ms.Roxana and she very wonderful and great with my daughter especially now that she throws her little toddler tantrums cause she has to leave her mommy but they handle it with grace and offer to looks at the fishy's in the other room I love everything about this place they have good secured doors only parents can access which makes me feel very safe they also take erdc for anyone looking for that. No matter where you go or what type of "program" a school says they base their teaching strategies on its honestly all about the teachers and WMI has some of the most caring and nurturing of people around. They are so caring welcoming they make your child feel safe while allowing them to be independent and respectful and have some ownership in their learning and school. The students- AMAZING. They are the most well behaved group of kids you will ever meet... And happy!! Because they model after each other and the teachers are good at modeling discussing/explaining reasons for why we respect each other and act the way we act everyone is happy and just respectful of each other. I had a friend tour who was weirded out and Said it wasn't natural to be this well behaved almost cult like... But it just shows you kids can be respectful playful well behaved little people if they are expected to be. The friend actually toured and did an "experiential day" with the school and actually has her daughter starting end of the month!!! The director- joy is amazing and really caring for her student.. They all love her to pieces. I will say honestly she sometimes is a little disorganized with parents (forgets scheduled meetings with parents from time to time) but never lacks with the children. I think she just has tons on her plate teaching/training/running and amazing school that things fall through the crack sometimes. She really wants the family to be really involved in the community which is great. She is also very easily reached/available and in constant communication with parents. The one negative that I can think of is they don't help wipe the kids if they are potty trained. They want them to be independent and do it on their own. My daughter has come home multiple times with skid marks because I just don't think she can reach that far. I have mentioned it before but not seriously talked to the school about it. Honestly though... There is no other school that I would trust with teaching the right morals and learning how to interact in a community to become fully functioning little people than WMI. You will not regret your decision for going....

From the moment we walk in, everyone is so kind, welcoming, and truly caring. Anna, Megan, Tristan, Marissa, JoAnn, and honestly the whole team are absolutely amazing. They treat my children with so much patience, love, and attention. My kids light up when they see them, which says everything. We went through a very tragic thing in our family and they were there to support us along the way and still continue to do so. I love them so much and really recommend taking your kiddo there.

One of our favorite parts is the focus on outdoor play and nature-based activities. The daycare also supported us so thoughtfully through potty training, making what can be a challenging phase feel smooth and encouraging. Our experience has been exactly that - our son has been going here for 2.5 years, and he as well as us simply love this school. From home cooked meals to learning and play and guidance on toilet training, the staff is very involved, helpful and friendly. Kids learn essential skills which make them independent such as how to eat by themselves, wear shoes and jackets by themselves etc. The best part I found is the sense of community and togetherness that the school creates between the children, teachers and the parents.

Transferred two children here after having tried other centers. Both have been very happy and my older child has learned a lot and is ready for Kindergarten. We were with primrose of Hillsboro 6 months before they even opened their doors. We waited because…read morewe believed in their outlook on a child's education and overall well-being. That was true, until our child started acting out. 4 year olds have been known to hit, not share, scream, and test boundaries. I'm not going to say our child is perfect. No child is. We tried working with the school to get to what the root cause was. I guess the school decided they no longer wanted to work with us, and instead use our daughter as a scapegoat for their own financial problems. They discriminated against her by unfairly claiming she was a bully, without any proof of such, and suspended her for 3 days because they have a 0 tolerance policy on bullies. SHE IS 4!. They also mentioned one parent left, and another was threatening to leave. So it sounds like to me they were more worried about losing money, than our child's own well-being. We couldn't even get a clear answer on what she did that day, because up until getting called in, everything seemed fine. What is a 4 year old going to get from a 3 day suspension? The only thing that can come from it is that primrose can say they dealt with the "problem". Not once before have they said she was a bully. Also we were told leadership came together and said she had to be suspended. One of their leadership is a sales person. Why does a sales person have any input on how to handle my child? Then we talked to Stephanie. We asked what happened that day to lead to our child being suspended. She said she didn't see herself, and only has second hand information. Nobody could clearly tell me what happened that day. We also never got any paperwork stating what happened and that she was being suspended. We were also told Stephanie is certified in speaking with kids in juvenile detention, and so she spoke to our child and they said they "want other kids to be sad". Maybe she did, but what questions were asked to lead to that? Why would she say that? WHO KNOWS! That part didn't matter apparently, but it sure helped make her look even more like a bully. We left, and I later E-mailed Stephanie addressing my concerns.I was concerned that my child would now be labelled a bully, and be dealt with only as a bully. Not a 4 year old. I was concerned that a suspension was only going to cause more harm than good. The email was read (I have a mail tracker so I know when my e-mails have been read), and there was never a response. She couldn't even address my concerns. I cannot recommend this school to anyone. They will throw your kid under the bus the second they are hurting. We have seen lots of parents and teachers come and go since they opened in March, and wish they would speak up as well so everyone knows what they are getting themselves into. Needless to say we found a better school for our child, and they are doing great.
