Still coming here, Linda is great. Love the old, retro magazines and newspapers in the waiting area. I will say the barbershop needs to be cleaned inside, especially in the back area. Dust everywhere, mop the floor! read more

I got a decent haircut and shave but was charged extra to line up my beard on top of the price for the beard trim. Never heard of a separate price to do the edges around my cheeks and neck. I would not go back here. I have got same cut for half the price. read more

Kristen is my barber/stylist and she has been consistent since I have met her in 2016. Just give her a general idea of what style you're looking for, and she'll give insight and execute what is desired. Everyone here at Brian's Barbershop are chill and welcoming. Movie and/or music is playing. The vibes are GOOD. read more

Brian's will be my new go to barbershop. With a recent move, I was no longer going to be using my Costa Mesa barber and noticed the sign driving down Imperial Hwy near Kramer and called for an appointment. Kristen answered and was able to get me in an hour later. The shop was modern, nicely decorated and fun and thankfully not a loud, gangster type shop that does not suit many of us. Kristen asked questions to understand exactly what I wanted, checked along the way and just nailed the perfect haircut! I'll be a regular from now on and a fair value at $34. Thanks! Mando is great! He's usually able to squeeze me in for a haircut on a late notice. He and the rest of the barbers are too funny! They banter back & forth like a typical barbershop. Happy to have found this spot! read more

We've tried several barbershops in the area for my son and glad to have found Kristen here. She's friendly and consistently does a great a job. read more

Brian is the best barber! Every cut is clean, sharp, and exactly what we ask for. My son always leaves the chair feeling confident and looking great. Brian has a great way of connecting with his clients, making the experience enjoyable every time. Brian also makes scheduling super easy with his online booking. Highly recommend him to anyone looking for a top-notch barber! read more

Kristen was an awesome barber. Best haircut i got in a long time - she was very thorough and allowed me to change my appointment last minute - will definitely come back read more

I don't get my haircut here but I take my son here. He likes the people that work here he's eight. He thinks Memo is funny and wants to come back here again to have him cut his hair. So shout out to Memo thank you. Pros: I found this place on yelp. The haircuts look good. The kind of haircut my son likes so booked an appointment it was easy enough to get in the day I wanted had no particular preference as it was my first time. That was then this is now I've taken my son here four times and I have had a good experience every single time. The last one though My son asked if he could come back and see Memo. So I guess Memo is our guy now. I really appreciate they play kid friendly movies. I mean it's not like they play cartoons. However you can tell they're conscious that kids get their haircuts there. Plenty of seating to wait. I don't know why but every time I go to a place to have my sons haircut there's no place for me to sit ‍ it's always like three seats and that's it, and everybody else is standing. Cons: honestly I can't think of one. Conclusion: they really take their time when it comes to the haircuts. You can tell in the pictures that are posted. Appointments are easy enough to make. read more

Please avoid this barbershop at all cost the owner doesn't care. Ruined my hair that i took care of for a year and didn't know he chose his apprentice to cut my long hair. Never again. Almost cried after the apprentice and the owner corrected my cut. read more

I've been coming here for few months, if not longer. I'm skeptical to trying new barber shops, let alone a new barber handling my hair. Armando has far exceeded my expectation when it comes to professionalism and knowledge about techniques/hair. He makes you feel welcome and genuinely cares and takes the time to work with you on how you want your haircut. And doesn't rush just to get you out the door. His stations always clean and organized. If you ever have any questions, Armando elaborates it in a way for his clients can understand. read more

Armando!!! Is the man!! Decided to look for a new barber in the area amongst this horrible pandemic. I found my haircut refuge here at Brian's Barbershop. I just moved to the area and looked up local shops still open! Armando was my barber! A phenomenal barber who is down to earth, super clean with his tools (literally disinfected entire area after each cut and made patrons wait outside). So when I was getting my cut it was just me and him in the entire shop. Armando has years on years of experience cutting hair, is a family man, and has that warm vibe. Armando has a good sense of humor and is a talker! Respectful and takes his time with his haircuts. He is truly a master of his craft! I'll definitely be back for another haircut. Enjoy my before and after pictures! Good comedy! read more

Always does a great job on my son's hair, love how laid back it is. Quick to respond and get you in.

Great all around shop with solid barbers. Great vibes and very welcoming! As a newcomer to the area, this will be my new shop.

Got a haircut from Kristen and yeah, I'll be coming back. My hair and ideas of what style to go for were a mess but she was able to help choose the right look. 10/10 with rice (meme but the 10 out of 10 review still stands lol). read more

Why does anyone continue to come here? Been here several times and I can get an appointment from my proctologist easier than I can this place; average is 1-2 weeks out, hint hire some more people, even before COVID. This was the last straw, came in and they cancelled my appointment because the person had an emergency, which I understand, but either call her appointments or get the next person to help me out. They probably don't care but they lost my business, $25 per cut x 26 per year. Go somewhere else, went to Fantastic Sams a block away, cheaper, and no wait or appointment necessary! read more

I've been going to this barbershop for years I always receive a excellent haircut. It's best to call ahead time and schedule an appointment.

Cool little barbershop, they're pretty busy so you should call and schedule an appointment. Brian cut my hair and it came out pretty much how I wanted it. Took his time and finished with the straight razor. He was very friendly as were the other barbers that were there. Comfortable waiting area, lots of magazines, and two tv's. Price is a little bit higher than most other places, but I think it was worth it. I will be back in a few weeks. read more

I 100% recommend this place! Especially Kristen who cut my hair exactly the way I showed her in a photo; she did a great job and I will definitely drive back here to get more cuts in the future read more

So glad I ended up coming to this place! I had an appointment at another barber shop but they cancelled and double booked my appointment 2 days in a row! I've been wanting to get a haircut so I looked for a place close by and found Brian's Barbershop. I called in and asked for Linda basing it off of the Yelp reviews I read. Got an appointment on the same day and I can't be more happy with the results! Linda took real good care of me and took her time to work on her craft! This place also follows safety COVID-19 guidelines and makes sure their customers and staffs are safe. You don't come inside unless it is your turn and prior to sitting down, they take your temperature and gives you hand sanitizer. They also clean and sanitize equipment after each customers. I would definitely recommend this place! Such great energy and vibe at this place! Also, make sure to set an appointment because I heard they get pretty booked! I will definitely be coming to this place from now on! read more

Dang man. This guy Brian is the Kobe Bryant of cutting men's hair. He knows what he is doing and is very good at his craft. My fourth time here and it just keeps getting better. My fade and haircuts are always clean and tight to the millimeter with every hair on my head accounted for. The tools he uses are quality and the blades are sharp. He uses quality hair products to. If you are in need of a new look don't go in and tell him what you want. Just walk in (make an appointment) and ask him to give you the look that is good for you. He can look at you for 5 seconds and tell you what would look good on you. You have to take in mind everyone's head and face and jaw line are shaped different. So there is no one universal cut that will fit everyone. Brian can look at you and tell you what would look best. He'll only suggest it but you have to want it to. I always tip him a minimum 20% for his work is flawless! read more

Made an appointment with Linda just basing it off yelp reviews. This was my first time there and it was GREAT experience! COVID Update: they clean between clients. They have to wait in the car until it is your turn and will text you & temperature check you upon entry. Every staff member is wearing a mask and every customer needs to be as well. All in all happy with what they are doing. These are the rules I got from Linda: *Please text me when arrived. *Please wait in your vehicle till texted to come in. (Station is being sanitized) MASK required. * Temperature will be screened in the front entrance . *Forgive us but the bathroom is temporarily not available. Haircut: My last proper haircut was a couple months ago so it was about time. Linda was a fantastic sport about it. She knew she had to do a little work to do but still was very happy and positive. Great conversationalist. Of course the haircut came out great and I am happy with it. She did exactly what I wanted and did a great job. My next time back I will definitely book with Linda. Pricing: Since this is my first time I am not sure if there are differences between times/people. But these are the prices I was given - CASH only for the time being -Adult's $30.00 -Beard trims $15.00 -Kid's 12 under $26.00 -Clean up $26.00 All in all 5/5 experience, will be back again. Linda. read more

False information!!! I had called beforehand to see if they accept walk-ins and they said yes. I come in and they say they don't accept walk-ins, only by appointment. The company should get their information correct and decide whether they will be accepting walk-ins or not. read more

Brought our little bub for his first haircut while daddy got his. My husband usually comes for Mando and that is whom our little one got. He took his time and was very patient with him the entire time. Granted, our little one cooperated every step of the way as though this wasn't his first rodeo. Not only did baby come out looking great but so did my husband (as usual). At the end our little bub even got a certificate for his first haircut and Mando offered me a keepsake hair of my little one's cut. Side note: my husband has curly hair many have tried and failed to give him what he wants. Mando is one of the very slim few who can manage with my husband's hair texture and style it according to his liking. read more

The worst place ever. Christin booked my husband and my son for a haircut on a Sunday, We went there and found out they were closed. We called this place again on the next Monday. They booked us again with Christin. We came back on the day at 1PM we were booked only to find out this time the store was open but Christin did not come to work. Shouldn't someone give us a call and save us a trip? Why you book a client when the store is supposed to be closed? Apparently there is no management here and the woman Christin can not be more unprofessional. Go somewhere else and save your time. read more

Super helpful. I haven't gotten a haircut in about a year and they knew what to give me.

Jason is the homie. I have always been paranoid about switching barbers, but I was lucky to find this guy over two years ago thanks to a friend's recommendation. I used to drive from Hollywood to have this man cut my hair. That is the level of trust and confidence I have in him. Cool little barbershop, they're pretty busy so you should call and schedule an appointment. read more

Just the facts: Called Tuesday morning at 10:15. The guy said walk-Ins are welcome and he could get me right in. I went over and sat for 4-5 minutes without being acknowledged while one man cut hair and at least 2-3 more just sat watching Netflix. When I was acknowledged, the guy said he could get me in around 11:30, closer to 11:45. I walked in at 10:30....1 person in a chair....4 guy's total...all but one watching Netflix, yet it would take an hour and 15 minutes before I could get my cut. I got the vibe really quick that they didn't want me there and this was their way of getting me to leave. I embarrassingly did. They may cut fine hair but they have no manners and run a poor business. I'm getting tired of these barber shops that are so exclusive and so unwelcoming that you feel like a burden when you go to get a cut. Places like this are very pretentious and come across as they're doing you some huge favor for free. All I wanted was to sit for a cut, maybe it was how I looked, maybe it was the anti-homophobia shirt I was wearing, but they lied to me and tried to make sure I didn't stay. They won. read more

What I notice the most when I go to barbershops is that the staff don't clean tools very often, and reuse the same tools without cleaning them (massive no no). They neglect the need to keep their tools clean and maintained. Not here. When I went in today Armando cut my hair. His tools were clean and maintained. His combs were fresh out the sanitizer, his clippers were disinfected, his scissors were clear. This is great to see, especially during covid-19. Armando was on time with my appointment, as soon as I got in I was in the chair. The seat is comfortable, and they got giant ass TVs too! I watched tv while getting my hair cut, that's awesome dude! Armando is also stellar at cutting hair. He used a straight razor on my neck, when I got home I looked in the mirror and it was much cleaner than what my last barber could ever do. My hair is easy to style, and is exactly what I was looking for! This place isn't the kind of place where you get your hair cut, halfway through you think it looks nice, then the barber manages to find a way to mess it up. Nooo, this place they are dead on with how you want your hair cut. This place is amazing, and I couldn't recommend it more. read more

Non responsive. Always closed. Unfortunate experience for me. Will try other barbers in the area.

They did a good job and it's all clean. I got a bald shave and it's clean. I think only thing is that it's pretty expensive. Thanks Brian's barbershop read more

My go to barber in OC. I've been to several barbers in OC, trying to find more convenient commute, but none of the places I tried compares to Brains work. He is punctual, diligent, and works with you to getting the perfect cut. He also has a really good memory, remembered my cut on the 2nd visit. fyi: - $25 for a cut - cuts takes a solid 30-45min - appointments via phone - straight blade finish - styles your hair with product - as always, know what kind of hair cut you want and how to properly communicate it to your barber. Or bring pictures 5/5 read more
