Unlike other month-of coordinators who won't talk to you until a month before, Rue 29 made sure to set us up for success from the beginning. As soon as we signed our contract Janice shared her list of preferred vendors and introduced us to everyone we needed to know. She seems to know everyone in Napa! She was then so helpful with any questions we had while we were booking vendors and coordinating with them over the intervening months. By the time we got to a month out from the wedding everything was pretty much already set! Janice was so incredibly helpful, super responsive, detail oriented, and extremely professional. When the wedding day came our day went off without a hitch! We were completely relaxed all day because of the trust that Janice had already built-we knew she would move whatever mountain needed to be moved to make the day perfect. During the day she was the perfect amount of attentive to verify a few last details with us but mostly left us to just enjoy the day while she took care of everything else. The planning process was seamless. I was so impressed with the attention to detail at the wedding venue walkthrough. We walked the entire venue, bounced ideas off each other for placement of every single item, and built a schematic. They even measured the venue to know exact placement of tables, chairs, etc. Planning the wedding was so easy/smooth thanks to the planning tools and check ins. Our rehearsal was straight to the point and very easy. We didn't need the full two hours allotted by our venue because they were on top of everything! Then came the wedding day. Our bridal salon overlooked the venue, so we were able to see the progress throughout the day. THEY WORK HARD!! and I mean, they pay attention to every single little detail to make sure the place looks beautiful and perfect. It was so impressive, we all couldn't stop talking about it. Jennifer acted as my day of coordinator and helped me plan my wedding! Before the wedding: Jennifer was easy to contact, I sent her countless emails and chatted with her frequently. She gave me a list of to-dos leading up to the wedding and reminders as it got closer. She came with me to visit the venue twice, was flexible with the schedule, and communicated with all of my vendors leading up to the wedding! Jennifer also sent me timelines of what would happen during the day (almost by the minute)! The day before the wedding, Jennifer helped our bridal party through the rehearsal and even had the officiant (her husband) there! She calmed my stresses to say the least! During the wedding: Though my vision was quite simple, Jennifer helped me execute it to the fullest. After our initial run through Jennifer knew exactly how things needed to run and look , I did not have to ask for a single thing to be changed. Vendors knew where to go, things were set how I wanted them, and she never once asked me for anything (and neither did the vendors). Everything was perfect! She even helped me write a beautiful wedding sign at the last minute!! She was never stressed and that really kept me at ease! Our officiant, Jennifer's Husband also did a fabulous job!! We gave him little direction, keep it short and sweet, involve the guest, and make it fun. He did all of those things and more. I've had many friends compliment how wonderful the ceremony was! My Husband and I decided to go with the partial planning package and it was the perfect balance for us. We are from the Chicagoland area so having a planner in California where we were getting married was essential. Kimberly is also well-connected in wine country/the wedding industry and has relationships with many of the vendors who ASE has worked with over the years.
