I had my car's alignment serviced by this place when the work was subbed out by Gordon's Auto Body,…read morepart of a body repair; when I got my car back from Gordon's, I found a large scuff in the leather on my steering wheel. Grrrrrr! I'm 98% sure this is from Reed's doing my alignment; when you get your wheels aligned, they put a tool on your steering wheel and pedals in order to fix any crookedness in your steering wheel (yeah, driving with a crooked steering wheel kinda blows!). Gordon's had no work to do inside my car. I had asked Gordon's to ask Reed's to also adjust my rear camber while they had my car up on the lift; I stated I wouldn't mind paying for it since I know the storm(Hurricane Irene...another story altogether lol) didn't cause the negative camber; Reed's didn't do it for some reason(the miscommunication could have been either party, it happens). I figured I'd drive over to ask Reed's to have them adjust my rear camber and also bring up the scuff on the steering wheel. I drove to Reed's, told Eddie, the shop owner I assume, what I had wanted done didn't get done, but he didn't really say anything other than say he remembered my car. I was just more like, whatever, it's cool. I proceeded to ask if he would adjust my car's rear camber; he said sure, it will be 80 dollars. 80-100 is usually what it is for a 4 wheel alignment at most places. so I asked if that was for 4 wheels. He said, yeah it is, and then I proceeded to gently remind him that I only needed the rear 2 wheels' camber adjusted. He then proceeded to tell me that if he adjusts the camber in the rear, he has to do the front too, or else I wouldn't be able to steer the car. Okay, as soon as he said this to me I lost all trust in him. He's already worked on my car before, so he knows my suspension (independent 4 wheel). I know my suspension. I just don't feel like doing it myself. C'mon, I'm Asian, not stupid, I know how an alignment works. I know cars. I know that after you adjust the rear wheels you should realign the front, but don't tell me that I can't steer the wheels. Just tell me that I should re-do the front. I'd be cool with that. At this point I figured I wouldn't waste my breath mentioning the scuff on my steering wheel; 99% sure he would have just deny it anyways. Anyways, honestly, I'm a fair and balanced guy. I'll give a 2.5 stars for the attitude; he wasn't mean or anything, but you shouldn't make up stuff to your customers. I'm not really mad at him or anything. What I am mad about was the service; the 1 star I'm giving is simply for the fact that they scuffed up the leather on my steering wheel while doing the alignment. The kicker was just talking to me as if I had no clue how a suspension on a car works; if I want to chew up my tires, let me do it, it's not a safety issue. Just bad business all around.

THANK YOU ALEX!!!…read more Please also tell your team thank you for the amazing service, for being so friendly and for working quickly so that I can be on my wa!!! I am passing through TN on my west-to-east coast drive and it's the first time I have ever interacted with the local community. My car service lights turned on while I was driving along the 40E and I panicked, knowing that I have 13 more hours of driving to go, I needed to find the closest Mazda dealership near me. In my search, I was routed to Volvo of Memphis who were able to help me check my car. Alex picked up the phone and has been helping me through the car safety process all the way. He was honest and clear with what I needed to have done to ensure a safe drive for the rest of my journey. Thank you Tennessee for the most welcoming hospitality. Thank you ALEX for going above and beyond!!! I'm sure I'm not the first to thank you for your kindess and for taking such good care of my car. I don't know if we will ever crossed paths, but I am ever so grateful that we did. Tennessee will have a special place in my heart because of you :) -c

Great Car Buying Experience…read more I had never owned or driven a Subaru before. Sal Sanchez was very knowledgeable and was very helpful in answering all my questions and letting me test drive 3 different cars. I never once felt pressured to "buy something today". Dave in the F & I office was also super laid back and chill. I never had to say "no" more than once to any of the products he was informing me about that I didn't want. From the moment I set foot on the dealership, to the time I drove off in my new Subaru was exactly 3 hours, and that time was spent mostly test driving cars. For reference, my previous car buying experience from another dealership took over 7, very annoying hours, even though I showed up already decided on a car they had on the lot.

Matt Owen's from the service department should work at a shady car lot since he will convince you that he will fix your car and do anything but. He had my car for 6 days and barely fixed anything. My 2024 outback came out just as broken as it went in. I didn't make it out of the parking lot before it was doing the exact thing I brought it in for. 3 trips to Memphis 7 calls and a lot of money later they fixed nothing. It's a 2 year old vehicle and my issue was a mystery to these guys. I'm going to buy another Outback but not here. Matt doesn't return calls, doesn't fix Subarus and acts like nothing is wrong when you get irritated enough and drive to the dealership to ask him about it. Do better Subaru!

I called and a man named Allen said it would be a couple hours before they could get to me and that it sounds like I might just need a patch and to try the guys next door. I didn't even call Tocayo, I just drove directly there. I pulled up to the bay and told Daniel my issue. He had me back up to the garage, he jacked my car up. He offered me 2 options: a plug for $15 or patch for $20. I took the patch and was on my way in maybe 15 minutes!!!! This is what you hope for when the unexpected happens and you're figuring you'll lose hours of your day dealing with an inconvenience. I can't believe my luck to find them and to make it to my appointment with time to spare.
