They had only 4 flavors left. I got a Chocolate Chip and Fruity Pebble and also go to try the Taro Coconut cookie. Chocolate Chip - 5/5 - it was nice and soft and had good chew texture and was loaded with chocolate chips! I really enjoyed this one Fruity Pebbles - 3/5 - so this was a good tasting cookie as for the texture I thought the fruity pebbles would be a little softer and chewier. Every bite you would get good flavor of fruity pebbles and the sweetness of the cookie. I just wasn't too fond of have two different textures from the crunch of the fruit pebbles and the softness of the cookie. Bonus- I got to try my coworkers Taro Coconut 5/5 probably the best flavored one I had out of the 3. The taro and coconut had a very very soft and chewy texture and the coconut was not too over bearing. The flavors and sweetness worked well together. I will definitely be trying more cookies from this place. I also got to speak to the mastermind behind the cookie formulas and she was very helpful and happy to answer any questions I had.

Got to the Sugarland farmer's market at 9:30am even though they opened at 9:00am and pretty much almost all the cookies were gone LOL. A little girl and her mom came up behind me and I overheard them wanting the last two taro coconut cookies but that's also why I was there so I bought one and some other flavors and let them have the last one. Cookies are super soft and sweet! Pretty good size for $2 each. Totally want to try more flavors!

You can immediately tell how much care and intention goes into the presentation . They almost seem too perfect to eat. The fruit pastries right at the start of the line instantly caught my eye, and they tasted even better than they looked. I've tried similar pastries at other bakeries, but these were by far the best in both flavor and quality. The fruit tasted fresh, the textures were just right, and nothing felt overly sweet or heavy. I attached a photo of the fruit pastries I chose because they were simply too aesthetically pleasing not to share. To me, it tasted like a regular/average cookie. The customer service was really good and professional! The owner himself is super friendly and always maintained contact with me before, during and even after my order was placed. This is a black owned business, and I will always support and give back to my community by any means necessary. I got a canele, a variety of choux, and some cupcakes. I enjoyed the canele and it had a very nice crust but the center wasn't as custardy as some I've had but regardless I enjoyed it and I also rarely see caneles so it was a nice treat. The choux were the winners for me though, filled with various creams (I got mango, pandan, and pistachio). I really liked the choux pastry and found it light and crisp. The filling was also perfect, light, held its texture and didn't spill out as I was eating it, and perfect level of sweetness for me. I also enjoyed flavor of the cupcakes but I did think they were slightly dense. Overall, this was such a great find and glad we stopped by. It may end up becoming one of my staples to have pastries for the week!

Got a slice of their rainbow cheesecake for a friend's birthday. We shared it at a fun Happy Hour. The Alfajors are such a traditional South America cookie. A shortbread sandwich cookie filled with gooey, homemade dulce de leche. So delicious. Their meringues are also filled with dulce de leche. I asked to try one of the chocolates he bought--the Blueberry Chocolate. I picked up the rest for my BF and me. Chocolate Bar "Black" - I passed this out at the local theater where I volunteer, and everyone loved it. Dark chocolate is so in right now. What I liked most was that the texture wasn't dry, yet it still had a strong, pleasantly bitter flavor. I assumed it was around 60-70% cacao, and after looking it up, it's actually 62-63%. It's definitely sweeter than the dark chocolates I normally eat, but still very enjoyable. At $10, it was a great way to share chocolate with 26 people. That said, I'd rather spend the extra $13 on their Nama Chocolate and give everyone an unforgettable experience. Royce's Origin Chocolate "Bitter" - This will be hard to review because I'm definitely not a chocolate connoisseur. --Ecuador - Reminds me of a bitter coffee bean. Very fragrant, though I wouldn't describe it as floral, despite the tasting notes claiming floral characteristics--unless we're talking about something peppery. This one was my BF's favorite. --Venezuela - Much milkier than the previous flavor. Lighter and more subtle, almost like drinking coffee and then finally getting hit with the milk foam. I 100% agree with the nutty tasting notes--it gives off strong hazelnut energy. This one was my favorite. --Madagascar - Much sharper in flavor. My BF described it as "fruity," and while I had a harder time deciphering it, I agree that it was noticeably tangier than the others. It also ranked the highest in acidity for me. I don't necessarily taste fruit, but that tang does lean toward a citrus-like quality. It tasted like the outer wilds, for sure. --Colombia - Mmm. My BF suggested caramel or cinnamon notes, but I'm picking up a flavor I recognize and just can't place... nutmeg. It reminds me of nutmeg. What an interesting shift from the bright, tangy profile of the Madagascar chocolate. Blueberry Chocolate - One of my peers described it as "potent," and I completely agree. It's a tiny little bead of chocolate, yet it packs a powerful punch. I believe it's a layered milk chocolate with a blueberry center. It was phenomenal, and I'd absolutely come back for another. Of their many flavors, I'd love to come back and try the Potato Chip Chocolate because, frankly, that's weird as heck... and y'girl loves weird.
