Dr. B and Heather are the only medical team I've met who have ever made me feel cared for and this has been the only medical treatment that has led to life-changing progress for me. I've used different chiropractors over the years to treat symptomatic back pain, this is the first that took the time to review x-rays with me, talk about my work history, and diagnose what has been a "bad back" for over ten years. Dr. Brian can discuss intelligently the mechanical aspects of the human body without disregarding that it's biology and tissue and nerves, and how they all work together. His course of action alleviated my pain and quickly corrected what had been years of symptoms due to a specific injury, all the time making me feel like he truly knew what was happening with my body with each adjustment. Great office hours to accommodate working people, friendly staff. UPDATE: 12/15/17 It's been six months since I a back injury recurred and had to be addressed. I have to say that not only was Dr. Pazera's treatment excellent, my back has stayed healthy, strong, and stable ever since. My first visit was 2 and a half hrs! My second visit was 2 hrs. I have never had any dr. spend that kind of time with me. Leave yourself time when you schedule your appts. 3. He took X-rays on my first visit. I have never had X-rays taken by a chiropractor! On my second visit, we went over them and he pointed every issue that the X-rays represented. 3. I've been in an accident several years ago, and started having back and neck problems ever since. Had physical therapy and treatment from several Chiropractors, however recently the problems just seemed to get worse. After just 2-3 visits his adjustments made an INCREDIBLE difference, and after a few more my headaches were gone, the endless tension in my neck and shoulders was gone. Having worked as a nurse for almost half a century, I'd always been skeptical, if not cynical, of chiropractic practice. This completely changed last December when I was diagnosed with a herniated disc at L4-5. Strictly following the AMA footprint, I proceeded to consult a cadre of medical practitioners: my primary care physician, an orthopedic surgeon, neurologist, pain specialist, and acupuncturist to try to remedy the severe pain I was experiencing. My life at this point was solely limited to one activity per day, standing while leaning on something for support, sitting and/or resting in bed with a heating pad and largely knocked out with both prescription and over-the-counter pain meds for the remainder of the time. As a last resort, I somewhat suspiciously consulted Brian Pazera, DC, who had been strongly recommended to me by a number of friends and neighbors. While quite pleasant and compassionate to my problem, and very definitely knowledgeable, I continued to remain both skeptical and hopeful. Dr. Pazera goes to every effort to ensure his patients are comfortable throughout their entire visit. He'll warm you up with heat pads and end the visit with massage and/or ice. I've had chronic pain issues for years now due to repetitive strain injury in my upper back and arms and hip injuries in my lower back and lower joints. He has miraculously helped with them all. Can't recommend him enough. He also goes deep into the science of spine health with you if you're curious about such things. Really helps you understand what's going on and how to work through it. I work in post production, and as a consequence I sit for about ten hours a day. Obviously this wreaks havoc with the neck and spine, so Dr. Pazera had his work cut out for him when I came in. He gave me a free consultation on my first visit, which included X-rays. Over the course of several months, I saw him two or three times a week. In that time, the acute neck pain went away and I'm feeling a lot better. In September I had new X-rays done, and I could see for myself that my spine was healing. My journey isn't over, but I've come a long way in just a couple of months. I've been to some places that charge $80 a pop for the quickest, most uncomfortable adjustment. This is the polar opposite. Dr. Pazera takes his time to understand exactly what is happening with you, how you are feeling, and what you would like him to focus on. He is quite thorough and makes sure you are feeling better before you leave. He does not insist on manual adjustment - if you're in pain or afraid of manual adjustment, he's happy to use a painless instrument which does the same job. Dr. Pazera's level of knowledge is amazing - he knows more than just about any health professional I've seen. He has opened my eyes to a lot of issues surrounding diet and lifestyle. He is also willing to work with you on stretches, better ergonomics, and supplementation that complement the chiropractic work. He's also very personable and the nicest guy. Dr. Brian is so wonderful! I was referred to him by my trainer, and after having some pretty bad experiences with chiropractors, I was hesitant about being adjusted. After a few visits I could see how his treatment was really aiding in my recovery process. He really knows his stuff and is extremely knowledgeable! He takes the time to answer all your questions and address any concerns. He is very understanding and empathetic toward your condition which can be rehabilitating in itself. Also, his knowledge of herbal/homeopathic supplements and treatments is fantastic, because he doesn't push pills /prescriptions like a typical MD would. The front desk staff is always pleasant and accommodating when it comes to scheduling visits. You can also do walk ins as well! There is parking in the back as well as some spots in front of the office on Magnolia. The office can be hard to find when coming for your first visit as it is a low profile building on the North side of Magnolia. I would recommend doing a Google Maps street view search just so you find it easier. Rosie who handles the financials is so sweet as well. She and Dr. Brian have both been so wonderful in helping me handle an injury related to an auto collision where I was rear ended.
