Got charged for exams and X-rays that weren't on the invoice. Submitted disputes with insurance and Lacey Modern Dentistry and then billed for different exams and X-rays not covered. Now I'm here I am speaking with debt collectors. If I could give negative stars, I would. Military beware. I hope they remove this dentistry from the network.

All 3 of our family members have been treated with respect, kindness, and consideration for our individual needs. The professionalism and caring of all staff really puts us at ease. All treatment is discussed in advance, and they make every effort to help you afford the care needed with several options for payment plans. We've had routine dental cleanings, deep cleanings, fillings, extractions, root canals, and bridges done here, and all dental work has been excellent. My chart indicates that I have sensitivity and the hygienists know to have a light and gentle touch. I also have excellent oral hygiene and have been told by the previous hygienists that I don't have much plaque and cleanings are easy. For some reason she was not gentle at all and repeatedly hurt me. I raised my hand three times to ask her to please be more gentle because she was hurting me. She did not listen and instead increase her pressure hurting me more, at one point using an electric tool and pressing it hard on my teeth and gums. I was moaning and jumping and had to push the tool away with my hands because she was hurting me so much. I should have gotten up and left but I didn't. The receptionist minimized my concerns when I phoned to call her afterwards. I did talk directly to the dentist later and she listened, but I want people to know not to go to this particular hygienist especially if they want to be treated kindly, with respect, and not hurt. I will also add that this practice has trouble keeping good hygienists and has cancelled my cleaning appointments twice in the past because they didn't have enough hygienists that day
