The bartenders are friendly, as are the patrons. We even got a crowler to take back to our hotel for the night (it was $16 I believe). If you go when it's daylight, you can see their goats. Unfortunately, it was dark and cold so we rushed back to the car. We'll be back again next year, for certain!

Ample seating outside which is great for beautiful, sunny days and they routinely have live music while we're there. They also host corn hole leagues if you're interested in signing up. During our most recent 4 day stay in Berlin we stopped at Sinepuxent Brewing twice. We tried multiple beers including Brew Cat Stout, Captain's Lager, Big Juicy Van, and NGL. All the brews we tried were very good (nothing I wouldn't have ordered again) but everyone's favorite was First Mate - lager with lime. Definitely the greatest lime flavored beer I've had. So refreshing and perfect for summer. The beertender was also so nice, and he seemed to have no issue conversing with customers and answering our questions. Never once did I get the sense that we were annoying him. They don't offer 4 or 6 packs (we would have loved to take home some smaller cans of the First Mate) but they do fill crowlers upon request. We are heading back to the area from Jersey in a few weeks and I'm already looking forward to stopping back in.

The pet-friendly courtyard had café lights, comfy seating, and '80s soft rock playing--I liked it. Our party agreed that the food was so-so. Vegetarian and gluten-free options like a burrito bowl were available. Loved that their self-serve water was out of a tap with the same handle mechanism as a beer tap! Shocked to find out a martini flight (totaling two drinks' worth of alcohol) was $38! I got one espresso martini instead and it was really a watered-down "latte martini"--sweeter and less coffee flavor than others I've had. Service was neither particularly good nor particularly bad, but overhearing the [manager? owner?] telling a fellow customer that he was "mad at" the bartender for being late to work that morning left a bad taste in my mouth. You shouldn't share your employees'/coworkers' shortcomings or mistakes with customers, and you shouldn't be "mad" at someone for being late to work (because it's not a personal affront, and because everyone is late sometimes). We felt that, while it had a nice atmosphere, we could find better food and drinks not far away.

They have a good selection of beer and I tried the Grapefruit Shine which I really enjoyed. I had the Ultimate Chicken Sandwich. It was a fried chicken breast on a roll with bacon, cheese and Old Bay aioli. Three of us ordered this and we all thought it was really tasty and my husband enjoyed his Hot Honey Chicken sandwich. But be warned it is messy. So yes food was good so why the four stars instead of five unfortunately it was our service. Even though we ordered our appetizer, a Bavarian pretzel ahead of time it did not come out until our meal. And yes this can be timing from the kitchen. But we hardly saw our server, her section for the evening was so spread out that she was not attentive to us. We will still go back just hoping our service will be better.

And because we are a Responsible Professional Company we were on-site 15 hours early. Imagine my delight when I saw that the receiving building shared a lot with a brewery teehee. Truck stop tacos for dinner? - I think not. Now in other reviews you know how I feel about breweries without food. Not the case here - pizzas, sandos, pretzels, salads, wings. And the beer list?? Multiple sours for me, hazy IPAs for he, and pumpkin flavored beer to usher in autumn. After that huge setup all we got were fries and beer lmao. The point is we COULD HAVE gotten more if we wanted it. Fries were hot and crispy. The pumpkin beer was incredible. And of note, the actual restaurant space was huge. With Rona numbers on the rise, we opted to sit outside on the huge patio. All in all, def worth a visit especially if you're in nearby Assateague or similar attractions and are tired of crabs lol.

We saw the WMDT's news piece on Foodie Friday and it looked and sounded SO good. We've passed by on…read moreway to/from the beach and always say, "we should go in". So we drove 30 minutes from OC last Sunday night, arrived about 6:30 to what seemed like a closed business. No one in the front of the house bar and foe a newcomer, didn't really know where to go. We heard laughter, but didn't know where and looking down another room, looked like it ended at another set of doors. We turned around again and then ran into an older couple leaving who told us, service is slow, they had to hunt down their waiter, but the nachos were good and filling along with avoiding eating outside as the gnats were terrible. Despite that ominous warning, we decided to try it and luckily as we wandered closer to the noise, ran into an employee that acted like a manager. She was eager to please, seat us and tell us that if we minded the bar noise (NFL game with boisterous fans) she'd move us. We didn't mind as it was better to be in a lively bar scene than a dead dining room. Service was definitely slow despite the emptiness of patrons. I decided I wanted to try the featured salmon I saw from the Foodie Friday segment. It sounded and looked so good with a Thai sauce cooked in the wood burning oven supposedly. When it was served it didn't look as I remembered from TV and whatever wonderful flavors the telecaster tasted, was definitely not what I experienced. Basically the salmon was ruined by over indulgence in a salt bath. The vegetable side was lacking anything but onions and a few slices of squash. At least there was a healthy serving of rice, which I thought was good, little sticky, but I'm a huge rice fan anyway you serve it. My husband (the salt king) ordered the Chicken Alfredo. He liked the chicken which tasted like it was cooked on a grill and shredded on top of the pasta. The Alfredo sauce was tasty, but he felt it was overly salty. I did try it after my salty salmon and my taste buds must have been salted out as I didn't notice that comment, but I enjoyed that meal in FLAVOR MUCH better than the salmon dinner. Restroom was appalling! There was NO TP, paper towels strewn all over the floor for some reason. Thank goodness they had paper towels. They do charge different pricing for cash vs credit.

Food, drink and service outstanding on a Wednesday afternoon. Black and Blue pizza off the hook.read more
