It felt like we were in a real moving train. The staff was kind and helpful, and the room was challenging, though not too ridiculous. We did escape (with a couple hints along the way). Quick introduction and away we were. This was super well done, and I loved that we needed to backtrack a few times because the clues we needed were behind us. The challenge level was just right and the staff gave us hints when we were badly stuck. Lots of jump scares too which was fun. We all had a great time, and everything was appropriate for a family as long as you don't mind some fake blood. Incredible attention to detail and design of the sets, and easily the largest escape room I have ever done in terms of square footage. Real hidden gem in the Charleston area. J.Ja

We settled on Chucktown and drove up to North Charleston to check it out. We reserved the mini golf in advance on their website, though honestly the axe throwing looked much more fun. There was a little wait to check in and then we were given our clubs and balls. It was a small course and not what you'd typically expect from indoor mini golf. The sets looked pretty old, like they could use a refresh, but we had a good time overall. Other people had the same idea as us, so it was very crowded in there. It's connected to a brewery too, so we tried some samples on our way out.

Large and well done but upon using the axes we were all a little disappointed. I've been to other places and always been fairly good but here the axes are pretty dull and the boards torn up. When I'd we hit it straight on, most of the time it fell out and hit the ground. We asked the staff to put up a new board but he said they've been out and are waiting on a shipment. The axes were all also pretty worn. One even broke when we threw it. On top of that, I thought the price was pretty steep. We were only given two stalls for 10 people and the price was $27 a person. Next time we'll probably go somewhere else unfortunately. The staff was all extremely nice though.

Which I feel like never happens at arcades. The staff is 10/10 too. I also am so amazed at how this establishment started as an axe place then had a fire that closed it down then axe throwing became a thing of the past and they keep rolling with the punches. I like this version the best! They also have cool events such as cabaret shows and pride events and music events. Each one a little different adding to the Park Circle flair. Kids are also allowed during the day (maybe all day I'm not sure) so this is a good option for parents needing an indoor activity that can please everyone.
