Okay, here's the thing. I really like supporting the mom and pop little coffee stands/shops. I'd rather go to some place like this over Starbucks any day. With that, there's always a risk of the experience only being average (in hopes of it being amazing.) This place quality of coffee and food was simply average. I got a blended white cow add mocha and vanilla. I get the same thing (white chocolate, add regular mocha and vanilla frap) at this place called Gravity Coffee and it's the best thing ever so I was hoping it wasn't too far off at this place. (BTDub - If you're every in the Tacoma, Olympia, Puyallup area you MUST check out Gravity Coffee #JustSayin.) It's not like my drink here was bad by any means, just wasn't amazing which is disappointing. It was heavy on the espresso flavor. So, if you're in the mood for that, definitely try it, but I like when the flavors blend well together and in this one the espresso was just overpowering. I read in a different review that they don't use a frap base, (unfortunately, after I already ordered the drink) so that is probably why the blend seems off. I also ordered a bacon, egg and cheese breakfast sandwich. Now, I wish I could separate my star ratings from food, to drink, to service because the food was awful. It's on an English Muffin, (so pretty basic) but it wasn't even toasted which gave it a true 1 star. The service would've received 5 stars. The woman was super nice. She even told me the name of a different drink that I could've ordered (if I ever come back) that way I don't get charged for all the extra flavors. Unfortunately, by this point, I was already thinking of how I wasn't going to come back so I didn't bother to remember the name. Also, the branding and physical appearance would receive 5 stars in my book too! Its truly a cute little place. I love the fonts of the menu and the sandwich packaging. I'm new in the area and decided to stop by this shop because of their amazing logo and that their Organic. Their Baristas are extremely friendly and knowledgeable about their products. I just adore the owner who is a very chill and passionate about her business. I would recommend stopping by and checking out their smooth espresso and homemade whip cream. I see why Brewed Awakening was voted " Best Coffee" in the West Sound !!!!! read more

Consistent turnover of good employees. Never get the same coffee employee to employee. Owner is rude.

This review is for Ashlee! You rock and are a great representative for the coffee shop, Brewed Awakenings! If you want a smiling face greeting you every morning, you must stop in and visit Ashlee and try some of the wares of this special coffee shop. They feature organic espresso, lots of healthy and homemade treats plus I can't wait to try their organic smoothies. This is one of those coffee shops where the folks pay attention to you and you are greeted as a friend plus Ashlee always remembers how I like my tea, the delicious Chai Tea with Vanilla and Spices. Super yummy! My days lately have been spent working on my rental house in Union that renters trashed, so Brewed Awakenings is my little piece of heaven each morning on the way to some unpleasant tasks! read more

I am usually very wary of coffee stands off rural highways. I have been burned so often with flat milk and weak espresso. This place, however, makes an amazing latte. And I stopped twice, getting my drink from two different baristas so I don't think it was a fluke. Silky rich milk, rich espresso flavor, and thick foam. Organic coffee to boot! Now I know its here I would save my espresso purchase till I arrived at Brewed Awakenings. read more

The stand is cute and the workers are nice, but the coffee is just really bad. I ordered a latte for my mom and an americano for myself. I could hardly taste the coffee in the americano and the latte was just weird. I won't go again read more

3 stars because the coffee is great and the staff lovely. But only 3 stars because there's no reason to have to wait 17 minutes to get served, especially when the car in front of you only gets one drink! I had always left myself 15 minutes extra to have time to stop, but the wait has consistently gotten longer and for the second time in 2 weeks I've had to leave without coffee cause I couldn't wait any longer....20 minutes this time.
