In town for the weekend and stumbled upon Brewability when searching for a gluten free brewery. We found that and so much more here. Yes the gf beers are fantastic. Yes the gf pizza and mac and cheese are delicious. But the best part was meeting the owner and learning all about how she's providing opportunities to disabled adults. Not only does she have employment covered but also the visiting experience for guests ... utensils, a sensory area, ordering beers by colors ... it was all thoughtful and eye opening. It was a dark stormy night. In walks our semi-tall, dark and handsome DJ. He was well dressed in a full suit and a trench coat to protect himself from the rain and snow. But he was hungry. Or should I say hangry? As it was past the 9:00 witching hour, our poor lonely DJ was deprived of any open restaurants. As he searched high and low for any restaurant that wasn't a fast food joint, he discovered an open sign for a brewery that had pizzas on the menu. Without thinking twice, he flipped a bitch and parallel parked his SUV on the first try! In the dark. In the rain. You all know how hard it is to parallel park on the 1st try! In walks our DJ, slowly fafdng away from malnutrition,, since his last meal had been over 9 hours earlier. Can you believe, no food for 9 hours?! Tanner the proprieter decided to take a chance on our poor hapless traveler. "Ive got time for 1 more drink", says the proprieter, while closing out his days profits from his register. Our hungry DJ, decides that a beer and pizza sounds good. But alas, the witching hour has passed and the kitchen was closed. Our poor DJ, is sad, even with the great sounding playlist playing the background. Tanner, doesnt have any Snickers, so he offers up the DJ, the days leftover pizza. Our DJ begins to reminisce about all the cold morning pizzas after the all night raves and is more than happy at the proprieters offer. "Day old pizza" that's only a few hours old AND fresh brewed beer. Lets just say, this DJ is happier than Bubba Gump at a shrimp broil. Its the little things in life that can complete a day and make it worth all the sweat and toil. We are in Englewood visiting family. Went to Brewability for some pizza, beer and the acoustic guitar tonight. Everything was great. We had two different pizzas, both were delicious, the beer and sangria were both great. Staff was courteous and friendly. The guitar guy sounded good. Played allot of well known songs. The mission of this place is commendable. All and all a great example of what the world needs more of. This will be our first stop every time we visit. read more

This place is unbelievably great! I have never seen anything like this. Came here on a Saturday afternoon. They were busy because there was a birthday party for a one year old. (Which is amazing they had it at a brewery.) All of the bartenders were awesome and very friendly. Was able to talk to the owner and she was very nice. The beers were actually really solid. I cannot say enough about this place. It is run by a former teacher and hires people with disabilities. I have never been to such a kid-friendly place! They have "magnetic" place mats and special utensils and a room FULL of toys and games. They also have things like noise-cancelling headphones and many other accommodations. The pizzas were great. I would love to have tried the beer, but being there at noon with my grandkids, it didn't seem like a good idea. The place is huge with indoor and outdoor seating. I will go back the next time I am in town. read more

This brewery was suggested from a classmate who lives out of state and heard about it. So naturally I was interested in visiting! I checked it out online, and read about the background and was immediately impressed. I was not disappointed at all, and had an amazing experience. It was initially pretty difficult to find, lots of guessing in the parking lot but we eventually found it. There was a fundraiser event going on with food and other treats being sold out front, music, and a bounce house. The service was great and so friendly. We were welcomed in and treated like friends/family. It was an awesome atmosphere, with little sayings and decorations everywhere that made you feel very included. The beer was delicious! I tried the strawberry blonde, as well as the pale ale. Both were great! The nitro stout was also very tasty, and we were warned it takes a few minutes to settle which was not a problem. Overall the feeling and everyone who worked there or was visiting was so warm, inviting, and fun. I will definitely be back to check out more of the special events and to support such an amazing business and vision! The owner Tiffany was there and stopped to chat, which made the experience that much better. I look forward to my next visit! read more

OMGosh, I cannot day how much we enjoyed the service and the tour of this place! Seriously, they are and do what they say. Tony, the brewmaster knew the answer to every question I threw at him about brewing beer. He knows his stuff. They beer itself is really good and comparable to some of the best beers I have tasted. Stumbled upon this place since it was close to our airport hotel, and so glad that we did! LOVED the concept, as well as the beer (though they didn't have too many options during our visit). The location is in a business complex, but it doesn't feel like it once you're there, especially with the cute outdoor area (that has cornhole and giant Jenga). We had some people in our group who weren't drinking, but there were enough games and conversation pieces in the place to satisfy everyone. Check this place out if you're in town! read more

I'm really hoping the first and only time I've visited was just an off day for the pizza kitchen, as it wasn't a good experience. The beer was fine, but the pizza came out in under 5min with raw toppings and barely cooked cheese (legit cold pieces of cheese in places). Understandably I could of asked them to cook it again, but honestly the thought they'd serve a pizza like that kind of settled it for me. We're locals to the neighborhood and frequent all the restaurants in downtown Englewood so a little sad our pizza experience was not good. Reviews led us to Brewability so again, hoping it was just a bad night for the cook. Would go back for beers though! read more

I LOVE this place!! It's been on my radar since they opened and I finally got the chance to check them out yesterday. Tiffany has a great thing going here! Providing employment opportunities to adults with developmental disabilities, serving great beer, in a fun little spot tucked away where you have to be looking for it to find it. Patrick was beertending last night, and it was so fun to watch his pride in serving. You order by color, tap handles are colored for easier identification, and you're served in glass beakers. Science AND opportunity! She definitely has a theme going on here, and I'm all for it. We ran tasters of everything they had on tap last night, and enjoyed them all. Tasters are only a $1 each! Their standouts were definitely the coffee porter, strawberry blonde and raspberry sour. The fruit flavors were super prominent and incredibly delicious. In fact, I'm craving that strawberry blonde again now! Their amber, brown, hefeweizen, and pale ale were also distinct, smooth, and tasty. It really made it hard to decide what to order after we finished our tasters. The space is relatively small, but so well done. Great little bar, some booths, some tables, and a few high top tables too. The people sitting at the bar were all super friendly too, which I feel like doesn't happen as often as it should in breweries. I also spied a TV (or two?), snacks and drinks for the kids (or non-drinkers), and games.
