Great ambiance! Cider flight was fire. I just asked Megan to give me her suggestions and she did me right.

The closest brewery to my house and I have never been here before. I saw an ad on Thursday nights that they do comedy night and it was a fun outing. I can tell this place has a following because there were a good 40-50 people there with the snow storm. The comedy was good and so was the beer. I had the seasonal cranberry cider and then had a warm apple cider with Carmel added to it which was the perfect complement to a snowy night. One of my favorite tidbits about the place is that it is owned by a fellow Alumni of New Mexico Tech with homage to the nerdiness of being a techie. I hope we do an alumni event here soon!

My partner thought the beer didn't have enough taste and its far from our home so we may not go back unless there is a specific reason to. But I was happy they were able to accommodate me with a mocktail. A lot of places only offer standard coke products. Love the theme and the interior of the place. It was nice that they had some food truck options to bring in from.

I went to Brew Lab 101 because a friend's band was playing there. This place was a pleasant surprise. The facility offers tons of seating (indoor and outdoor). There is a food truck parked out front, but we had just eaten. I didn't take a close look at the food truck. We sat inside to listen to the band. The indoor seating has a great industrial feel. Service was attentive and great. I ordered a lavender beer and squeezed some lime into it. It was delicious and I will definitely order it again. If I lived in the area, I would definitely come here on a regular basis.

Brew Lab was cool, nice atmosphere. Some TVs, medium sized list of drinks, food truck outside. Music was a bit loud but overall the environment was ok. There's a patio outside also if you don't want to hear the music or watch sports. I had a flight of ciders which was pretty good, especially the peach and watermelon.

The Brew Lab has been a great support to the Rio Rancho Community. They have very good beer, so many varieties. Their Ciders are also tasty. I have had some mixed drinks that were delicious. A wonderful place to enjoy time. Lots of good company.

Bartenders are always nice. Love the coconut lime cherry bomb. I'd like to hangout during football season but TVs are too small.

My dining companion…read morewas craving something from another restaurant on the other side of town, but considering it was so late, I suggested coming here as it had similar things on the menu, and I am so glad I suggested this place. We walked in, and the place was a little crowded, but we were still sat pretty quickly. I liked the atmosphere of the place because it seemed very open, inviting, and had a certain local charm to it. As soon as my dining companion saw the people around us getting their food delivered it looked so good she no longer remembered what we came for and we ended up ordering something completely different. We didn't wait long for our waitress to come over. She was very nice and attentive I asked her for a drink recommendations, and she mentioned some good ones. Considering the day before was New Year's Eve and I probably should've took a break from drinking, I said say screw it and got something light. It was a blood orange cider, and it was delicious, I was not expecting it to taste like that! Unable to make our minds up, we decided to split a salad and pizza. For the salad I wanted to get the Valley grande, but we compromised and got the brazos which was essentially a Caesar salad. That's how it was huge. We had enough to share and more, it was also tasty, the dressing. You could tell was definitely house made. For the pizza we decided to get a split half truchas and half chimayo (my half) and it was amazing the flavor was great and the topping fresh. Although next time I will ask for well done. On to dessert. The best thing we ordered all night was the Apple calzone. It seemed to be the size of a little football and came with two scoops of ice cream. I could tell it was made to order and it was absolutely delicious! We cannot wait to go back.

Everything went well food service ambience felt very comfortable there. Great burgers.read more

What a fun new place! (New for me!)…read more The burrito was a whopper, and the tacos we got were filling as well. Loved the brownie dessert and the mango guava agua Fresca too! All in all, great meal and a great price. Two drinks, two dinners and a dessert for $48 before top.

We read a lengthy glowing review of La Reforma in a recent ABQ Journal issue and had high hopes of…read morefinding something similar to the tacos we used to get in and near Cuernavaca, Morelos where we lived 2008-13. Sadly, we found kind of a mixed bag. First, the standout items. The margaritas were fantastic; some of the best we've had in the USA and extremely generous. The pinto bean sides were some of the best we've had since returning to the States in 2013. Perhaps not quite as great as those of the shuttered El Cotorro but still stellar. Next, the tacos. We tried only two of the several tacos on offer - The El Pastor and the Pescado. Both were served in what was called "corn tortillas" but these differed from virtually any corn tortillas we've ever had in Mexico or elsewhere. They were at least twice as thick as your typical corn tortilla found in just about all Mexican taco places in Mexico and elsewhere. The consistency and taste were quite different from your normal corn tortilla also. In fact, they really didn't seem to have much taste at all, of corn or anything else. Now to the fillings. At the aforementioned El Cotorro, the meat for the Al Pastor tacos was cooked on a vertical rotating spit which was the only way we ever saw it cooked in Mexico. The meat La Reforma used in their al pastor tacos was more chunky and way drier than any we ever had in Mexico or at El Cotorro. It didn't taste similar to any al pastor tacos were ever had in Mexico. It also kind of seemed like it wasn't cooked recently whereas in Mexico you can watch the cook with a large knife carve off the meat from the vertical spit right in front of you. Usually the time between the carving and it sitting in front of you is under 10 seconds. The fish taco at La Reforma was disappointing. The fish resembled a fish stick but one without much flavor. We wouldn't order it again. We gave the mini-churros a try for dessert. Because they were so small, they were way crispier than your typical regular-sized churro. We might return but we'd skip the al pastor and the fish tacos and try some of the other tacos. But we strongly suggest that they dump their current "corn tortillas" because they're not that good. Way too thick and virtually tasteless. Lo siento. Kudos for the margaritas and the beans. The rest of what we tried didn't live up to the recent glowing review in the ABQ Journal.
