They took my insurance until I went in to see her, then nope. Don't know why, or what I did. But she acts mean, terse when she spoke to me. Then after refusing the insurance they accepted at first, she overcharges. $585 for a visit in 2021. I would avoid her like the plague.

Dr. Logan is the best provider I've had the privilege of working with. She has accompanied my…read morefamily and I for over a decade now of medical care, and she is just the best. Examples (I have many more but will just share a few) - she always makes sure I understand the results of not only tests she orders but ones that my specialists order if they haven't explained them to me. She makes recommendations that are outside of what I would consider often - like she recommended a specific supplement that stopped the hot flashes I developed postpartum for four years vs another provider who told me "well if that's your only symptom, maybe get some fans." She cares about my kids even though they haven't seen her as patients yet*, she is efficient yet spends as much time with me as she can to address my concerns, and she remembers details about me that make me feel cared for and seen. As a now pretty functional person with severe PTSD, I have to stay on top of treatment and such, and to that end Dr. Logan has been willing in the past to communicate with my psychiatric nurse practitioner and therapist - and honestly, she's one of the only MDs/DOs I work with who has been willing/able to communicate with other providers directly in the past several years and it's SO MUCH more efficient than my other providers passing messages back and forth through me like a game of telephone. (*They don't see her yet only because her office doesn't have connections to an after hours pediatric urgent care clinic - once my kids are old enough to not need that we will be switching.) It's really challenging being a provider in today's American healthcare system, and I really appreciate Dr. Logan and how hard she works to make sure her patients get the best care possible within the broken system we're all functioning in. (I'm a different kind of provider in healthcare so see the provider side often - but I'm also a patient.)

Great multitasker too - as she took notes, she pointed the screen at me so that I could see what she was doing, and she gracefully kept up the conversation. After I disclosed my discomfort around giving blood, she revised her plan to try and get as much done with only one blood draw. Dr. McCune also gave me some tips on how to handle the blood draw. Unfortunately I still passed out like a light, but we were well prepared and the staff in her office were incredible. Dr. McCune's medical assistant, Brittany, was also very kind and attentive. We had great conversation and she put me at ease during one of the shots. Unfortunately my appointment did start 45-60 minutes late that day (not sure if this occurs frequently), but in general I have heard all doctor visits often start late. I'll certainly be back! Highly recommend.

The first time I saw Dr. McCune I was at my lowest point, and for awhile now I've been really thriving. When I see her and have periodic health concerns or questions, she always takes the issues seriously, and she's able to put them in context of my overall health. She has also helped me see how far I've come in the past 5 years. Dr. McCune is the only physician at Sutter that I've stuck with for this long, and I'm grateful to be her patient!

----- 1 star…read more (Late experience from Jan 2024) I cannot in good conscience recommend Dr. Fujimura at this office location. My experience was deeply disappointing. After being referred for an urgent appointment by two nurses who were concerned about a potential appendix rupture due to my acute pain, Dr. Fujimura was much more concerned her schedule than my well-being. Instead of examining my symptoms, she spent time reprimanding me for following the nurses' recommendation and claimed I was "wasting her time" and "potentially endangering other patients if I have flu like symptoms" (I was masked). At one point, I asked if I could use the bathroom and she replied, "well I'm not allowed to say no" - another example of her unprofessional tone throughout the appointment. I was shocked by her unprofessional approach, especially when I was in significant pain and following medical advice from her fellow medical staff. The dismissive attitude I encountered left me feeling unheard and uncared for during a very painful time. The dismissive attitude I encountered left me feeling unheard and uncared for during a very painful time. I did report this incident to One Medical, and I appreciate that the regional staff followed up with me regarding my experience. Their responsiveness was a stark contrast to my interaction with Dr. Fujimura. --- Experience from Prior Jan 2024 --- 3 stars On a positive note, I've been going to this office for 3 years (2019-2022) and have found the office staff to be friendly and helpful. I appreciate their convenient blood draw services and extended lab hours. The staff are also particularly helpful when it comes to calling other offices to locate vaccines when you need them quickly. Unfortunately, a difficulty has been the high staff turnover in the Berkeley Office, with folks going on leave multiple times or sabbaticals without notice. Thought I do appreciate that they are slowly opening another office with more providers.
