Two weeks post surgery he had xrays taken. He reviewed these with my husband and I. He did not indicate any possible problem then or during any subsequent appointments. Still not straightening and still it was due to me according to him. I sought out TWO other opinions and was told the same by both. The replacement was too big. And manipulations should only be done in legs not bending! I was subjected to another surgery to correct the first one! He should have seen the problem in the xrays, moreover should have known better when performing the replacement. His arrogant attitude was unprofessional and detrimental.

I injured it about 10yr ago skiing. He introduced me to a different type of procedure called Mako. This particular procedure is a partial knee replacement that was done by robotic assist. Being I only the lateral side of my right knee was injured I only needed replacement of that section, this made sense to me. As he was in full agreement that I was a good candidate for this we agreed and thus the journey began. The surgery was a success and went smoothly. I was home the same day and was starting my recovery. Sadly I was a bit aggressive in my PT I ruptured a small part of my incision that evening. Sadly this has been more issue than the invite replacement. I am blessed as it is healing and no infection. Please if you are hesitant of Dr. Krpan disregard. He is an expert and great bedside manner. He will explain any and all options. Thank you Jennifer, Kathy and all your wonderful staff at the Angels Camp office!
