Dr. Ardron is great, cares for his patients and ensure quick and efficient appointments. I reccomend all my friends who need eye care to Donaldson. I was referred here a few years back by a coworker and I am glad that this is the practice I ended up with. They also have a vision center for glasses shopping right accross the parking lot. I had both cataracts removed over the last two weeks and Dr. Fleming has been seeing me for all my follow up visits. I have never had such extensive exams. Dr. Fleming is so thorough and so patient. He always takes the time to explain what he's doing and why. His office staff and techs are very professional and nice. I would recommend Dr. Fleming to anyone who needs any eye care.

While I loved teaching, I was glad to retire, so I understand. The office staff is always pleasant and professional, greeting clients as soon as they pass through the door. Office policy is "no fragrances." I get that, and always remember to leave the Chanel on the shelf. Regarding the purchase of new glasses, I avoid that, no longer having the luxury of insurance. Instead, I recycle one or two pairs of several frames I've held onto because I like them. Only once have I been told that's not possible, because "they" don't like beat-up frames. They're not; what am I, 12 years old? Even though Dr. Fleming has sold his practice, I will continue as long as he's taking a few appointments. I feel my exam is thorough, and the results always discussed with me. The practice keeps up with new technology, and I like that. He reassured me when I expressed worry about renewing my driver's license; the eye exam always brings anxiety. Should I fail the exam, Dr. Fleming told me there were options. Finally, while I was undergoing treatment for a serious illness, the office was very understanding when I schlepped in, not wanting to miss an appointment. I'm really very grateful for all that's been done for me.

The office staff was very efficient, making an appointment and getting Mr. S in to be seen right away in Angels Camp. Surprise, surprise he has cataracts! Dr. Perry Haugen did two separate surgeries in the Sonora surgical center. Most impressive is the compassionate surgical staff. I witnessed a young gal who had great anxiety while waiting for surgery. The staff did an excellent job of calming her. Their professionalism is obvious. Fast forward a month...Mr. S can see 20/20 again!

i waited 3 months for an appointment thinking this would be a good Dr because of the long wait…read more unfortunately that was not the case. even though i had an early morning appointment the Dr was running 1 hour behind schedule, Dr Arfon gave me no time to ask questions or to give me anytime at all. he looked in my eyes commented on my age and asked if i was still working full time. but was not interested in speaking to me about my vision problems. i will never go back there!!!
