The office staff is rude and acts like they're doing you a favor by doing the bare minimum. Do yourself a favor and take your business and dollar bills to anywhere else. I've had nothing but issues with them for the past six months, they almost removed a perfectly healthy implant and cost me another anxiety inducing procedure. I almost needed to be hospitalized from anesthesia during my first procedure because office staff told me not to take my normal daily meds the day of my visit. It took my dentist's office 5 minutes to fix what it took half a dozen appointments over a month and a half to not figure out while I was in excruciating pain. Honestly, I'm relieved that I've decided to switch practices. I wouldn't trust them in my mouth again at all. The only favor they ever did me was being big enough jerks to convince me to go somewhere with competent staff.

She talked over me multiple times, even though I advised I was trying to provide her with my insurance information. I should've taken that as a sign to end the call and leave it at that. She went on to tell me she didn't recognize my insurance so it's likely not accepted. She continued talking. I was finally able to intervene and tell her it was as I've already completed the eligibility via my insurance's website. She took all the info and made the appointment. I didn't feel the greatest about it but decided to let it go. She called me this morning with ZERO phone etiquettes.. no greeting, no telling me who she was or where she was calling from, just asked if I was xxx. I asked for her name, as she called me. She then proceeded to raise her voice in annoyance as if what she did was ok. Please invest in some customer service and phone etiquette's training as your employees should not be calling patients without stating who they are and where they're calling from. Oh, and a little kindness goes a long way. Needless to say, I cancelled the appointment.

I was informed that my insurance would NOT cover this claim. It turns out my insurance DID cover it and the balance was $33. This was in December. I was in and out of the hospital, my finances were being transferred from CT, and I received statements from the dr's office about this $33. The last statement I received was on March 31st stating that if I did not make a payment that they would "pursue further legal action." March 31st... this was a Tuesday. I was served today with a Civil Hearing for this bill stating that I had to pay $183.50!!!! This office NEVER called me to get a payment, they only sent statments. The last statement sent was LESS than a month before they filed charges. According to the District, I was told that it takes at LEAST a week for them to process the charges. Which means they were NEVER going to give me the change to pay this balance. I called the office today and told them that I would GLADLY come in and pay the $33 charge - and I was informed that I have to pay $269 because of the court fees. DO NOT EVER GO TO THIS DENTIST!!!! They are all about money and care NOTHING about their patient.

Over the summer, I had a consultation appointment and was given all of the necessary information for my procedure. My surgery was scheduled for first thing this morning, and I was taken care of right away. Ashton and Jacqueline were both extremely friendly and more than happy to answer my questions. Dr. Sudbrink was also very personable during the time I remember conversing with him before he administered my anesthesia. Everything seemed to go smoothly, and recovery has been treating me well. It was a short and sweet outpatient procedure, so I was in and out of the office in an hour! To top things off, they called my house a few hours afterwards to check in on me. My only suggestion for them would be to offer the patient some water or ice chips before they leave. I was quite swollen and numb, so maybe that's why they didn't bother. Otherwise, it was a great experience (under the circumstances), and I'd recommend them to anyone in need of oral surgery!

Not once but twice.... I wanted to make sure that the review was absolutely honest and forthcoming…read more I visited this "doctor" months ago in a momentous amount of pain. And I was told I need it referral referral- Dr. Desai was kind enough to tell me that she promised that that an Advil and an ibuprofen, is all she recommended to me and she let me pay and suffer for days. Her recommendation absolutely did not work in fact I probably what is needed my stomach pumped For taking so many. My pain was incomplete agony. But once I got to get my tooth extracted someplace else the dentist was very professional and subscribed a small number of pain pills to get me through the oncoming days. I returned to this dentist, with absolutely no pain and I expressed to her that I was very disappointed with my last visit and hell she left me to walk out of her office, in unforgettable agonizing pain and surely she remembered me and said that she remembered seeing my review???? Funny how I am this woman's first review. So I'm sitting there in my appointment listening to her Indian music, and her endearing personality how she looked down at me and said that her idea of ibuprofen and Advil together are quite remarkable! I explained to her that I had a right to not be in pain as any person with an extraction or a root canal has ever experienced it's something that's pretty traumatizing, and extremely painful. Instead of doing the right thing and prescribing some thing that could actually help a person because that is the point of being a "doctor" she looks at you like you were some pill junkie. Absolutely not the case with me. I'm just the kind of person that when I have a procedure done or have any sort of surgery that's invasive I'm expected to be in pain and the pain is unbearable to me. This woman was absolutely so rude to me that she had your Dassie to say "hi I'm actually surprised that you came back" I absolutely do not recommend this woman for anything but teeth cleanings. I don't know why anyone would want to get into the medical field if they didn't actually want to help people so I had to put her on the spot and ask her what kind of dentist she was if she doesn't do root canal's and doesn't do tooth extractions and she said she's just a basic dentist. Collect peoples money and sit around listening to music all day long with a horrible bedside manner is what this woman's work is. It's so interesting how so many dentists and people in the dental field Wonder why people fear and have phobias against going to the dentist and why they put it off. I have had dentists in the past I've been doing work on my teeth since I'm a teenager and I have never experienced a dentist like this in my life the past 30 years I have always been taken care of and never looked at like I was some sort of unreasonable, demanding patient. Awful treatment as she rolled her eyes behind her glasses and walked out and didn't even say thank you or goodbye she tossed me off to another dentist. Her staff is definitely very kind and patient. unlike she is but she's unnecessarily rude. I don't recommend this dentist.

I check reviews for everything in life. And I did for Oral Miller as well - I tried to assume that…read morethe bad ones were just one off situations since this place came as a referral in a Mom group. My initial call to set up a consultation appointment went smoothly; the consultation was good - the doctor a bit abrupt and hast, but kinda took that as a typical doctor doing a mundane consult and probably having another patient waiting... I scheduled my daughters surgery date afterwards & was told the billing coordinator would reach out to notify us of insurance coverage / our portion. I waited two weeks & had not heard a peep. I called the office and pushed the option for billing - each time it went to voicemail. I eventually left a message & waited another day + a weekend before calling the scheduling line to inquire further... I apologized initially for calling that line & explained the above before she started telling me that she was the billing person but she's covering the office. This didn't come across as informational; it was said with a lot of inflection/tones that could be taken anyway except "I'm here & happy to help you." Honestly, she needs some basic customer service training as I received every excuse possible when all I wanted was an answer... a simple "I'm sorry, let me look into this" or a "I need a bit of time but can followup with you by X" instead I heard about their staffing issues and how overworked she is... all I really took away from the conversation was how much she hates her job & how horrible this practice is & when I pushed to get a time/date she would be able to get me an answer she just became ruder. When I hung up, I called another provider - I could tell she answered the phone with a smile, she was readily willing to assist me, easily scheduled an appointment that fit my timeframe & who made me feel like I wasn't a burden. Towards the end I thanked her for being so helpful with answering all my questions & explained my experience that had just occurred with Miller Oral -- she even apologized on their behalf! I later emailed requesting to cancel the appointment; assuming this wasn't received I called today to confirm. It was - I wasn't even worthy of a response. The girl today was helpful & I since I felt this should be addressed with their office manager I asked for their name... and was told her name is Megan; based off the other reviews here I'd be willing to bet Megan would never address my concerns with her boss as I'm fairly sure my previous experience that led me to cancelling was also her. I hope the owners/doctors see this review; as this continued lack or service & professionalism will continue to impact patients & ultimately the business.
