They care, take the time to explain and discuss what issues you have. They use heating pads, tense, and a mini massage to prepare you for your adjustment which feels wonderful! Dr. Vroom is straight forward and honest. There's no pressure about visits (as I've experienced from some other offices in the past. ) They're Awesome! In my specific scenario I had been a gymnastics for many years. I have old injuries that I have to keep in alignment however in January 2017 something was seriously wrong with my foot. I tried to ignore it thinking it would get better, went my general practitioner medical doctor and the Podiatrist who completed an MRI on it. They said it was maybe arthritis (at 33!) and then suggested I get cortisone shots in my foot. I was taking heavy pain medication, trying special shoes. I even went to acupuncture! Nothing really worked. I changed my diet and cut back sugar which seemed to reduce the inflammation but still wasn't working. It was terrible as I've always been active and really couldn't even walk for long periods of time! Until I came to visit Dr. Vroom recommended by my friend Sarah on Monday. He completed an adjustment and suggested the laser so I tried it. Almost immediately the swelling reduced! My foot was still hurting that day but the next day it was better and by Wednesday it was like I hadn't had a problem for 11 months!! I'm working out some of the stiffness since it's been swollen for so long I have to stretch it out! It was phenomenal and truly a miracle! I would have never guessed a chiropractic adjustment for my foot and the laser would provide such amazing results! I wish I came sooner to have saved myself some pain! So thankful for Dr. Vroom and His team!

I had an issue with my sciatic nerve and hip. I went to…read moreanother chiropractor in town and got x-rays, foot scan and he made a treatment plan consisting of 36 visits, three times a week, for three months at the tune of $3700 (or I could pay for the whole plan up front for $2900 to save 30%). I received 3 sessions (consisting of an adjustment and then 20 minutes on a roller table with a TENs unit. There was a little relief but not much. I called Advanced Chiropractic and asked for a second opinion. Dr. Troy saw me the next day (thank you ) and reviewed my X-rays, foot scan and treatment plan. I explained to him how and when it started hurting and he knew right away what was causing my discomfort. It was piriformis syndrome and it should be able to be managed in 3-5 sessions. It took *one* session with icing and stretching. The session consisted of an adjustment, stretches and a good ten minutes of a massage gun on those muscles (thank you, Sam). It felt like a horse kicked me in the left glute the next couple days but with the stretches and icing, four days later, I can walk without the sciatic nerve yelling at me and without pain. Now I can get back to my exercise routine and walk my dogs again! Advantage Chiropractic and it's staff are pretty amazing! I'm very glad I chose them to get my second opinion with!

My initial issue was I learned, with one individual there, and not the Institute. Am returning for more help from them and now can recommend them highly - in spite of the one staffer. Until yesterday's scheduled procedure (1/31/18) that is. Was informed after fasting and getting there at 8:15am by their anesthesiologist, that she was refusing to perform the procedure because "it was too difficult waking me up the last time." This was either my 4th or 5th procedure by them - there was nothing new going on with me - I still needed diazepam because of PTSD - and was denied service. I tried submitting verbal complaint so whoever's in charge would be made aware of how one staffer affected their business, but my calls have not been responded to. As my first review revealed the difficulty I had in getting my calls returned, so it continues. That particular staffer is either always out 'running errands' or just takes her time returning phone calls perioid. Left three messages over several days while awaiting a call-back. I'm done.

I was sent to him by the VA due to chronic neck and back pain with x-rays and MRIs to back it up, as well as a couple of sports-related injuries, including a poorly-healed broken elbow and a complete rupture of the gluteus minimus and medius (having surgery on that in a couple of weeks). He only cared about the neck, didn't want to hear about anything else. Zero eye contact, no facial expressions, clipped and monotone. I asked a couple of questions but had to repeat myself because he ignored me. When he was done fiddling with his computer, he did have a plan; come back for some nerve blocking (or whatever it's called) which should work for 4 HOURS. Then keep a pain journal so they know if they're in the right area. So... nothing today? "No." Why not? "We need authorization from the VA. Could take days, could take weeks. Don't know." Can I get something for the pain in the meantime?? (No history of abuse or addiction, all injuries well documented.) "No. Nothing. It was nice to meet you." Then he walked out. The office staff were nice, but you couldn't pay me to go back to that place. From their parking lot, I reached out to the VA to find a different provider - which took about 10 minutes total. They were eager to take my statement and apologized for Oleg's behavior.

My appointment was with Dr. Danielle Sinai. Little bit of background and history about my reason…read morefor going in... I have had severe ongoing leg pain for years now and it has gotten bad enough to where working, walking, driving, and other simple tasks are too painful. My entire knee and lower leg is visibly rotated inwards. I also have scoliosis (curvature of the spine) and have been aware of this for years. Once she found out I had scoliosis, Dr. Sinai basically only focused on that. She did not lift my pant legs to look at my legs. She vaguely checked the range of motion in my legs. I was shocked when she Ordered an x-ray of my lower back and hips. I even asked "are we going to x-ray my knee? " To which she replied that it was unnecessary. So the x-rays come back, my hips are fine but my spine is crooked (like I told her). She recommended me to a physical therapist, and for my physical therapy prescription she wrote "scoliosis and leg pain". As I had told her, I was already fully aware of my scoliosis, and in the process of seeing a Specialist for it. I asked her if my leg pain and the fact that it was crooked had to do with my spine or if something could be wrong with my knee. She basically stated she wasn't really sure, but probably. This entire visit was a complete waste of my time, and money. She clearly had no interest in finding out what was wrong with me. She shrugged off all of my concerns and resolved nothing. I now have to pay for another visit with a different doctor, because this one was incapable and unwilling to properly do her job.
