The longer review - This place not only gets the job done, and the appropriate adjustments made, but they really do look at each person both individually and holistically. It's obnoxious that you have to be as excited as we get when medical professionals actually listen to us, and treat us for what we share with them, rather than treating us all the same. We are not! Nikolay did the most thorough assessment of me before even putting me on the table I've ever experienced. He asked questions, looked at my posture, mobility, etc. Once he had enough information, he went to work. Another fantastic thing about this place, is how innovative they are. They mix consistent historic functional chiropractic methodologies with new and cutting edge equipment and methodologies, as to ensure you're getting the best of each world. I truly can't recommend this place enough. I was so relieved to know that I had finally found someone who could help me with my pain and manage a new way of life for myself. However the person that works at the front desk, Lucy, will be the reason he has lost me for a new patient. On my initial visit, I walked in the was barely greeted and was given an attitude as though she was being terribly bothered by walking in the door. There was no smile and no warm greeting whatsoever. It is a reminder that when people walk into a chiropractic office it is because they are in critical pain and they should be greeted with a warm smile and compassion. She has none... Then as I was getting ready to leave she informed me that their office is out of network for my insurance and that I owed them $95! In the initial paperwork, they asked for insurance information and if the insurance is out of network or is not covered then it has been my experience in offices that the patient is informed as a courtesy. I called the office this morning and immediately she was on the defensive and said that she does not call the patient to let them know that information that it is the responsibility of the patient to know everything before they walk in the door... Part of that may be true, but my insurance covers chiropractic... It would've been a great courtesy if they had let me know they we out of network and I could've made other arrangements to find someone in network. This was a referral that I was given to go to this office, and she, Lucy, is ruining any possibility of new clients for this office. I would not recommend anyone to go to that office just because of her and the doctor would do well to address the situation and make necessary changes if he feels his business would benefit from it. I know one thing... I will never go back to that office again no matter how much he may have helped me someone like her can make all the pain come back again in an inadvertent way!

Tom Dutcher is as good as it gets when it comes to Chiropractic care…read more I started seeing Tom around 2005 after a major snowboarding accident. With four bulging discs C4-7, I was in fear on of herniating. I literally felt numbing in my fingers. I went three days a week for a period of time and some physical therapy. I believe in the healing that Tom provides. He is very spiritual in how he educated you about what he is doing and how the body reacts to movement and treatment. He doesn't force an adjustment. He is methodical. Needless to say, I've recovered fully. I didn't need to have any fusion. I see Tom periodically as needed. Lately it's been maybe four times per year, if that. And I travel over an hour one way to see him now that I've moved away from Portland. I refuse to see anyone else. Thanks Tom. You are the Superman of Chiropractors. And a stand up human being. It's been an honor knowing you all this time.

Unfortunately that means it only gets painted when the owner wants to pay to do it. It's not like it's run down or anything, so who cares anyway? As far as service goes the receptionist is very friendly. I've had no issues over the past couple months with billing. I've had multiple visits with two of they physicians for both chiropractic care and physical therapy. They work with eachother to get me well again. I was in an auto accident and they've helped me a lot. They set me up for an MRI even to find out more about the pinched nerve issues. I'm well on my way to a full recovery. I'm very pleased with the care I've received here.

Outdated, Behind the Times, and Marginal…read more My experience: The building did not have a sign for their office, and is in disrepair: parts of the porch are litereally beginning to fall down. Don't go there if you expect to pay with a Flexible Benefits Card. The receptionist didn't understand why my benefits card wouldn't go through, and tried it several times. The office manager then told me that she has been trying to get the doctor to change their business profile from "busness" to "medical business" to fix this issue for TWO YEARS, so I had to pay with cash and then work with the benefits company to get reimbursed. The receptionist told me that $65 was the price for the first appointment, and it was $45 after that. The paperwork said that if I paid right away, I would get a 20% discount on the price. NO, that is just the price, there is no discount. The chiropractor told me that I was injured, perhaps from sleeping wrong, and alluded to not being able to do me any good for my issue. He adjusted me here and there and told me that my pain should calm down within the next couple of hours, and not to lift anything during that time (in answer to asking him what I should do to make this better). I think he got something wrong because I was hurting more the rest of the day... I was unimpressed with the building, billing practice, and chiropractor. I do not recommend them.
