We decided to replace it and accepted Twin Ports Custom Climate's bid. They offered a high efficiency wall hung boiler for the same price a competitor offered a 85% efficiency unit. It took about 2 weeks to get scheduled for the project. It was cold out and was a two day job. The disruption was minimal as the first day prep work and venting was set up. The next day a crew of 4 came out and 8 hrs. later our new furnace was operating and the mess cleaned up and removed. The installer's were friendly, professional and kept me informed about their progress. We are very happy with our new furnace and the job was completed exactly as we were told it would be. I would recommend using TPCC for a furnace servicing and replacement.

Going to guess they do decent work when they do work, based on the reviews. I was told they would…read morearrive on the day, but no time provided. At 1pm I called to see if we were still to receive service, I was told yes, and I would get a call 30 minutes before arrival. So I have to wait all day for these people. I find that to be a poor scheduling practice. Once they arrived to do the work he made it clear he had no idea why he was here. I thought we were going to have water and a drain hooked up to our new sink. He thought he was clearing slow running drains. Then he said he didn't have time to do what we scheduled, but if we had some slow drains he could look at those, but because it's an old building he may not be able to do that either. I got the feeling he didn't want to do anything else today. It seems it was my bad for calling a company that lists themselves as a local service provider. I only scheduled for the first half of my day to be waiting around, but they got my entire day and did nothing. I called Premier Plumbing and told them what happened and they squeezed me in, in two days. Premier Plumbing will now get our future business as well. I would consider calling Premier Plumbing first, then maybe these guys, if Premier is too busy, and you can afford an entire day of waiting around for these people.
