One of the cancellations happened while I was already driving to the appointment. I arrange my schedule around these appointments and set aside the time specifically to be there. Having three out of five appointments canceled is incredibly frustrating and shows a lack of consideration for clients' time. I understand that things can come up, but this has happened repeatedly. At this point, the repeated "sorry" doesn't make up for the time and inconvenience caused. Even more important...My back has been improving for weeks. I am so grateful!!! It went from saying every day "MY BACK IS KILLING ME" and walking hunched over all the time - to now is just "stiff" - mostly only on the right side - and Im walking 100% better and straighter. I feel very lucky to have found Ashley and to have this much improvement in my back. They said only one. After calculating all three, my total out of pocket price is $150. $150 is far from $30 I initially I have to pay for all three services. Another bait and switch or dont deliver what they promise. No star in my opinion. What kinda business does that? I called/booked for three services and when I showed up for them; they said I only booked for one. I had to pay 150 out of pocket costs instead of the initial $30. Thank u for the quick reply. TL;DR - Go and see Susie immediately. She will be able to help you no matter what ails you. There…read moreare times she will solve problems you didn't even know you had! Long narrative: I have been seeing Susie for three months now, and I want to give a comprehensive walkthrough of my experience because I'm sure there are people like me who are curious about what the experience is truly like. I walked into this completely open-minded. Did I think it'd help? Sure. Did I think it'd help as much as it did? Absolutely not. But let's get to the first appointment. Arrival: I arrived on time and found plenty of street parking. There is a code for the front door, so it is nice that the building is secure. The COVID-19 protocols are flawless. When you arrive, there is maybe one other person in the waiting area at the same time as you. When you get into the room, there are many places for you to sit/lie down that are well spaced. Additionally, there are several air purifiers to make you feel safe. There are never more than 3 people (4 if you include Susie) at a time and everyone is masked. First session: During my consultation, I had told Susie some things I wanted to work on: namely stress. The amount of time that Susie listens to you and connects with you is just unparalleled - I swear she is part-time therapist. She went ahead and placed the needles and I relaxed into the process. After about an hour, I felt incredibly relaxed and could feel myself letting go of some of the tension I had been carrying. Sessions since then: Every time I come in, it's like coming to see an old friend. Susie very quickly makes you feel welcomed - I feel like I've known her my whole life. Her energy is so calming and comforting like a warm hug on a cold day. She takes the time to read you and your body in that moment before responding with treatment to address where you are right now. Did it work? Yes. First off, I no longer wake up with a headache because of sleeping with a clenched jaw. Some other benefits? I feel a lot more relaxed and find that stressful situations are a lot more manageable. I find that I'm happier these days even though I am living through a pandemic. Now well into month three, I plan on keeping this as part of my self-care routine. I look forward to my weekly acupuncture like I would for a massage. I highly recommend following Susie's advice of doing 2x a week for the first couple of weeks to get your body caught up to where it needs to be before backing down to once a week. Also ask for her advice on other life changes you can make to help support your experience. She offered me a path of herbs or I could eat more red meat to accomplish the same - I was very happy to be prescribed a steak. :) Her prices are incredibly affordable, she has price points/sliding scales that makes this treatment achievable for people, and she offers great packages to make it sustainable for longer-term (4 sessions for $100 or $30-$55 for a single session). Her compassion, care, and experience will leave you feeling more centered and calm. Thank you Susie for everything you've done for me. I know we're not done yet, but I cannot stop raving about you to anyone who will listen. Go see her - do not wait.

This is how much I trust Dr. Suver…read more Every time my partner and I consider buying a new home, we pull up Google maps and run my "ultimate test": how far will this house be from Dr. Suver. Dr Suver is one of the best humans I know. Seriously. I just came back from a 10 day vipassana meditation retreat. For those of you who don't know, your day starts when you wake up at 4 am and ends at 9 pm. Most of the day you're sitting and meditating. No phones. No talking. Naturally, I was super nervous about it in general because of all the chronic pain I have day to day that builds up in my neck and spine. If I sit the wrong way, it ends up feeling like it's burning between my vertebrae and my muscles and connective tissue. There are times the pain is so much and leads to anxiety and depression, but seeing Dr Suver for the past two years is what has gotten me through most of it. So the week prior I had a mysterious flare up on my right rib which ended up traveling and locking up my entire neck. I was in sooooo much pain. I reached out to dr Suver (who was on vacation with his family mind you) about my concerns and not only did he give me a bunch of suggestions... he reached out a day later to tell me he set something up with a colleague who has his own private practice. He even called in a favor negotiated a special rate since my rates are much lower at Dr Suver's. Also.. my adjustments require laser precision. I'm one of the more extreme clients who can't just get adjusted by any 'ol chiropractor. He explained to his colleague exactly how to adjust me so I wouldn't have to. Not that I would know. Seriously he is so intuitive. I can go in with pain and guarding and within seconds, he knows exactly where I need an adjustment. I just cannot praise him enough. You have no idea how much that means as a person who has chronic pain. I still had some residual pain on my neck but it was enough to make me feel comfortable going and sitting. It's rare to meet businesses who continually care for you after the initial honeymoon first impression phase. I think I've been with Dr Suver for two years now and I'm not looking back! Seriously. Check my former reviews and reach out to dr Suver now!!!!

Dr. Suver is incredible due to his genuine efforts to listen and adjust accordingly to each patients' specific condition, week by week. On weeks when things were rough or I was in a weak state, he was great about backing off and only ramping it up when appropriate. He did an excellent job gauging when my body and mind were able to take heavy or light work. Initially Dr. Suver did the proper groundwork with verbal, physical, and imaging diagnostics. He did a great job of walking me through the process. I did find relief and aid from his adjustments as well as the massage therapist who is a part of SCLC (Trevor). That said, many weeks it was extremely intense and exhausting as my body reacted to the adjustments. Dr. Suver was clear and honest from the beginning saying that the fairly severe issues with my atlas (connection area between top of spine and skull) and lower lumbar could be improved but potentially not solved completely but he would do his best. I appreciated that honesty and that clear expectations were set. No fairy tales. We agreed on a 6 months timeline of treatments to try to make it work. After the 6 months I stopped seeing Dr. Suver due to the cost struggling to cover things out of pocket and it seemed we had reached a wall of improvement. As opposed to the horror stories you may hear of providers trying to continuously tie a patient into further work, Dr. Suver understood the position and things finished well without any aggressive selling attempts. That said, I could tell Dr. Suver genuinely wished he could treat me longer because he wanted to solve the problem completely! A real class act. I noticed relief from his work and would absolutely recommend him. After a move from Seattle I have seen another chiropractor in network who confirmed much of Dr. Suver's professional opinion and added on PT/strengthening exercises in order to try to maintain and improve the efficacy of the adjustments. Thank you for all your hard work and kindness Dr. Suver!

I've been so discouraged for years with the way my health has been managed. Reflecting back to the days that doctors were in medicine became they felt compelled to help you in all ways possible. Rather that currently where most don't even look you in the eye and their answer is to push drugs. None of them want you to get well anymore. None of them feel they need to keep you happy. They could care less. They get paid if you come or not. This clinic is everything medicine used to be and more. I was hesitant for years because I paid for health insurance. I can say 5 minutes into my meeting with them to discuss how the program worked I knew I needed to switch. The cost is so minimal compared to what they give to you. I've not regretted my choice and I tell everyone who is fed up with the system, actually I tell everyone how happy I am and that this clinic is worth thousands a month and they only charge 60 so man what a value! Thank you Tanya for the courage you had to see your vision through and provide our community with medical care that is world class.
