I have been seeing Yoona Kim for acupuncture and came in for an appointment 4 months in and was charged for an office visit at an additional $170.00 dollars. Unfortunately, I was not made aware of the additional charge only asked to complete some paperwork on how I was feeling. When I called to ask why I was charged an additional $170.00 for the office visit I was told it was because my insurance company required them to check in on how my treatment was going. I have been going for maintenance purposes. I did call my insurance company and was told that this was a false statement that they do not require this. I tried to speak with the office manager again and never received a call back. Unless you want to be charged for services every 4 months that don't amount to $170.00 worth of treatment I would avoid going to Vida. read more

So I have been suffering from sciatica and si joint. I have been in physical therapy for three months but decided to try acupuncture and a chiropractor. I went to vida since they offer both. Two weeks later only one chiropractor visit and two acupuncture visits in and I can now walk without any he cane. I can sleep without waking up to take more pain pills. Make sure you have them verify your insurance for the services you request. I was told a Doctor of Acupuncture has to bill my insurance or it is not covered for acupuncture. My insurance does cover acupuncture. If you are retired and have Medicare Advantage, make sure you understand what you insurance requires from the health facility and how much is covered. Great location, friendly staff. I came in to have an acupuncture session on my sore body, arrived 5 minutes early and maybe waited 7 minutes total for my acupuncture therapist to come grab me. They were super informative and took a real personable approach to my needs. I was asked a lot of great questions about what was bothering me. Once the session started they explained in so much detail and was super informative and put me at ease - this was my first time having acupuncture done. I started seeing Dr. Brent Duncan a month ago for a hamstring injury that wasn't getting better on its own. He was really helpful in explaining the specific part of my leg that was injured and how we can work to help my body along in the healing process. Before I started going to Vida my hamstring was just getting worse and worse. Now I have regained almost my full flexibility and am able to return to my usual activities. Dr. Brent is also working on my neck to help with migraines and I've already noticed a reduction in intensity and frequency. He is friendly and easy to talk to during our visits and goes out of his way to make sure I'm comfortable with everything he's doing. I'm so happy to have found Vida! All the staff is so nice! They knew my name within a few visits and they make you feel at home in their office. Absolutely a disgrace! This review is solely in response to the administration in the front office specifically the billing manager. She is incompetent, The doctors are quite good at what they do but the self righteous young lady in the front who doesn't have the ability to interact with the public nor take responsibility for her shortcomings are why I stopped going here. She made mistakes from the moment I started with billing info, I took time out of my schedule to correct her mistakes that she could have done by calling my insurance provider and doing proper verifications prior to. I went in for an initial chiropractic appointment and was very disappointed in my experience. (This was when they were still located off of Casino Road, I just forgot to review then). The two stars is for the responsiveness in relation to getting an appointment and getting the financial part checked through my insurance. When I arrived, I was briefly greeted and then told to have a seat. I then waited for 20 minutes before I was seen, all while watching several staff members joke around and generally ignore the fact that there were customers in the lobby. When I finally went back, the doctor was nice but not really helpful. In the end he basically said he didn't know what to do with me. No recommendations to other providers like physical therapy or anything. I don't go to a medical provider to get the "I don't know" response. At a minimum validation of my experience, of what brought me in, and where to go next would have been nice. Not only will I never return, I'm making sure to not refer anyone and have actually referred people away. Basic customer service just isn't that difficult. One person could be excused, but the five different people I observed and the three I interacted with cannot. read more

Went in for a general chiropractic evaluation and adjustment, as well as for some pain in my right ankle. I was treated very professionally and all my doubts and questions were addressed and answered. Dr. Lam is very thorough during the examinations. She put things in terms that I would understand. She's very patient and ensures all my questions and concerns are answered. I was having lower back pain and couldn't stand up straight. After the first session, she had me upright again. She underpromises and overdelivers. The facility is very new and clean. Excellent clinic! The front desk staff make scheduling, payment and communication very easy and convenient. I have an old sports injury that causes chronic pain in my neck and also had a few foot injuries that I came to the clinic for over the past year. Dr. Duncan has been super helpful in getting me back to a functional and pain free state. He listened carefully and provided a thorough examination to help me identify a route to recovery for complex, overlapping issues that involve multiple areas of the body. His chiropractic adjustments are the best that I've had, and he also provided helpful muscle treatment and cupping therapy. Unfortunately, I'm having to update my rating again. I've been paying off my balance owed since December, and the amount they're saying I owe now is $160 more than what my balance letter states. I haven't received any services since December; it seems that their bookkeeping is still problematic, since they somehow have no record of the balance statement I was sent this month and/or payments I've been making. They want me to send a picture of my statement letter because they don't have access to it. How can they not access a statement letter they generated on their computer and mailed to me? Sounds pretty strange. The actual physical therapy is great. The insurance verification and bookkeeping processes are a whole different story. I'm not sure I'd come back. read more

I had the most horrible experience with this company! Make sure that they put everything in writing before you go there. Over the phone I was told that my insurance will cover 90% of the service I will end up paying only $15-20 for visit. Guess what? Not only I ended up paying $50 per visit, but 2 months later received another bill from them for $255 for evaluation! WTF is evaluation!? Dr Culp has been a god send after I was hospitalized for a while my body wasn't use to being in the "upright" position and Dr Culp started me on the road to total well being. The front desk staff and management were polite, helpful and overall made me feel comfortable in the waiting area. Doctor Duncan, if I am correct, was the one to assist me with my neck issue that had been causing me problems for a number of months. Dr. Ryan and Dr. Max really helped my back feel better after my car accident. I did a few months of chiropractic with them and then had some massage with Rachael, a super awesome therapist who really listened to my complaints and helped relax my lower back and shoulder. Then I finished up with Chris for physical therapy and he not only showed me exercises to do for helping my injuries, but he sent me home with stretches to do even after my recovery so that I could always have good range of motion and less overall back pain. I highly recommend Dr. William Marson as a chiropractor. I went there on a limb during the weekend, and had a Excruciating pain in my neck. He was very professional made me feel comfortable. He said that I should see him twice a week and it should help. It's been almost 2 months now and I see him once weekly with no pain anymore. Age-related osteoarthritis in my shoulders impacted my ability to manage normal home activities without pain in my arms. I originally called Vida for my husband who was unable to walk due to injuring his back. They were able to get him in the same day with Dr. Marson. When we got there, my husband was having a hard time getting out of the car and the front staff saw and came right outside offering to help. They even went and got Dr Marson who also came out right away and helped walk him inside. I have always been afraid of chiropractic work and after seeing my husband get relief, I thought I should give it a try for my neck pain that causes migraines. As soon as I walked into my appointment with Dr Marson I explained all of my fears and questions of 'what if' this happens or what if that happens.
