I don't feel good about my hair right now. After reading yelp reviews I visited three different places over the past year that boated excellent reviews, only to be very disappointed each time. Twice I was quoted a price over the phone and suddenly at checkout the price was $30-50 more. Once someone told me the products they used would make my hair healthy and grow longer. $175 of products later and only the stylist was happy with that extra sale. Run Forest! Being hesitant I called Off The Top and spoke with Stacee. I asked about a general price range. Not only did she charge me what she quoted, she did the best color out of all three. She didn't try and sell me extra conditioning treatments or marked up products. She didn't even ask me to write a review after I shared how happy I was with the service. My hair is a gorgeous blonde and I had a fabulous conversation with her. I've had countless compliments From men and women since she did my hair. I love the L'Anza product line and Stacee's color brilliance. The color took less than two hours and I look great. I'm Leary of someone who asks for reviews or who tries to sell me marked up product or extra treatments. The salon is small and has a boutique feel. I enjoyed the other ladies as well. Super positive vibe. Stacee is one of the most honest and genuine stylists I've ever met. Great human being. I'm so excited to say I finally found the right person for me. Thank you Stacee!

Caden, the woman who did my hair, was essentially slapping the dye on my head, carrying globs of dye from the bowl to my hair, dripping it along the way. And then came the haircut. The worst I've ever had. I planned to take some off the top but after noticing that she had never cut a fade before I told her I didn't want the top cut. I left with a decent color job, and the sides of my head were cut completely different and uneven. It was horrendous. I will not be going back here again. And I do not recommend this particular hair dresser, at the very least, for a men's haircut.

She gives an above average salon experience, but still takes the time to personally connect with her Clients. I initially went to her for a red balayage and she took my inspiration picture and put her own personal touch to truly give me a custom hair color. Ever since then I've gone to her for regular up keep and trims, and she always slays it. Even in between visits, my hair will fade like normal, but still looks fantastic and natural. That's how good she is! Heather also has tons of hair knowledge and experience, but also makes sure to dedicate time to educate herself further to pass down. When I first started seeing her, I would fry my hair with straighteners and not really know how to manage it. Now my hair is at it's healthiest, and regular haircuts from Heather help to keep my curls in place even though I have blonde in place. After 24hours of not washing the new color, I noticed my wet hair was sticking and breaking off. I contacted Emily Hankemeier and was told that nothing was wrong with my hair because she didn't damage it. Other words, she denied and ended up sending me home with a free 20.00 treatment bottle. After this I can't get my hair done thinking she could damage others hair on their heads. I was told taking hot showers would do this although I've had my hair colored before and never had to adjust my shower water. This was after being charged extra for "extra dye". Altogether I spent $300 for something that's already gone a week later. Will never go back. **An adjustment was offered after this review was made and only then. They didn't communicate with me even after me asking them numerous times. I was on the rinse chair for over an hour and in the salon for 3.5 hours. They messed up my hair color big time and didn't do the cut I made the payment they asked for and despite that Peter blamed me for the delay (how is it my fault when his team was working on my hair and made a mess) and he lost his temper, even said that he doesn't care if he gets a bad review. So here I am writing him a bad review. I do not recommend this salon because they don't know how to treat people right. All I expected was clear communication of what went wrong and an apology that they messed up my hair and trying to fix it. As opposed to blaming it on me and telling me that I should tell my family that it will take 5 hours for them to do the color and cut. Stay away from this place!
