Brought in a beautiful cocktail ring that was my mothers consisting of diamonds and emeralds. It was looked at in their Bloomington store by a very nice and knowledgeable man who said it was in great shape and a ball park figure for the ring was around $3500. However, he said take it to our Peoria store as the actual appraiser is there. So we drove on to Peoria for them to look at the ring. They took it in the back, came out a few minutes later and said they could scrap it out and give us $200. For scrap! Same company, same owners, and 30 miles later our ring went from being "a beautiful piece" to scrap. The ring was $4,000 when it was purchased. Bloomington store said it was in great shape, Peoria store said it had chips in it. read more

Everything! The people and the service and selection always consistently great! Have had several reasons to use their services. Not a single issue. read more

Earlier today my wife and I stopped at Bremer jewelry in Bloomington to have a watch battery replaced. Laram met us at the door (our first trip to the store,), and was exceptionally professional and helpful. While in the store we visited with him about possibly resizing our wedding bands. He was respectful, courteous, and kind while working with my wife's arthritic knuckles. We will definitely be back to do business with Bremer's. The other main jewelry store in Bloomington could learn a lot from the Bremmer business model. Daryl Chenoweth Normal, IL read more

I came in today to get my ring cleaned, never having done so before and not knowing what to expect. Larum (I pray I'm spelling it right) took care of me and I am still in shock at the quality of service and overall experience I had with him and the staff. When I say that my entire week was made from the maybe 10 minutes I spent in there I mean it. My ring has NEVER looked so beautiful, and my heart is full! The staff at Bremer know exactly how to make you feel so incredibly special. The culture in there is amazing and I absolutely cannot wait to be back. If you need a wonderful jeweler I couldn't recommend them enough!!! I would give them a million stars if I could! Thankyou guys and see you soon! read more

Very nice staff! Did not charge me for replacing a small clock battery, only suggested a donation to a local charity, Will shop there for sure for our jewelry next time! read more

I've been purchasing fine jewelry from store manager, David Haynes, for well over 10 years. He demands professionalism and expert customer service from his staff and I'm always made to feel a priority of the store; whether I'm buying a charm for a bracelet, or an engagement ring. The store sets an excellent atmosphere; the decor is beautiful, the amenities they provide rival any in its class (wine, coffee, soft drinks, etc....), very knowledgeable staff, and wide brand variety. Even after moving to Los Angeles, I still take my jewelry needs back to Illinois. If you have a jewelry need, this is the place! read more

I have purchased several nice pieces here over the years, but recently I discovered Bremer does an excellent job on jewelry repair too. A precious ring my parents gave me 25 years ago needed work, and David/Tim at Bremer took time to walk me through the process and choose an option that fit both my expectations and my budget. I can't recommend them enough! read more

My wife and I came in about 4 or 5 days prior to picking up our sized ring. We needed it sized for her for a while and it was no longer shining, was a little bent out of shape and I want to applaud Brewer for how well they treated us as customers, the results of the sizing were beyond expectation, and the sizing was done 2 days before the expected date of finish! Great job. read more

Knowledgeable and friendly staff. Good quality. Staff tends to try to sell the top of the line products (regarding diamonds), but overall a great place worth considering for high quality jewelry. read more

I found Bremer during my search for an engagement ring 2 years ago. They stood out to me as the best among several jewelers I met with in both the Bloomington/Normal and Chicago areas. The most important thing was that they had the engagement ring I was looking for, but I was also very impressed by the service I received. In particular, David was a cut above in terms of professionalism and enthusiasm for his line of work. We were in periodic contact over a two year period, and I always felt like I was getting great direction from him. Highly recommend. read more

Not only is their jewelry stunning and of highest quality but their customer service is extraordinary!! Working with Larum, Bill and other team members was such a delight! Their patience, kindness and desire to give you exactly the perfect piece of jewelry is amazing! We recently had a hardship hit our family that spilled over into our Bremer experiance. We bought a ring as an early 10 year anniversary gift to me from my husband. Two weeks later the hardship occurred with my husbands job. It didnt feel right to me to have this new expense, so I called Bremer to see if they would stop the ring from being made, since it wasnt to be finished until right before Christmas. Well, it was done early and had been sent to Peoria and was available for pick up. I thought for sure that I had no choice but to take the ring or have a large restock fee. To my surprise neither of those things happened! They graciously let me return the ring for the full refund and did not charge to restock it. I believe that they showed compassion towards our situation. That does not happen very often these days with companies. For Valentines Day, my husband surprised me with jewelry from Bremer! Not nearly as expensive but still beautiful!! Larum helped him pick out something that I love! Within the week, we recieved a card from Larum. He wrote this: You and Amee are important to us. Thank you for being a part of our family. When you need us we are here. With Gratitude, Larum. Wow! Whether it is $20 or $20,000, you matter to them! Bremer will always be our jewelry family!! read more

David Haynes (the store manager) is THE man to see. His dedication to his craft and attention to detail is immediately obvious. David was recommended to us by a friend when we were wedding band shopping and having a hard time finding exactly what we wanted. Even though we live in California, David was available at all times with our needs and questions, and went above and beyond to ensure our happiness and satisfaction. He's not the type of guy to push anything just to close a sale - he wants you to walk away with a quality product that you will love for the rest of your life. We are so happy with our rings, mine is Tacori and David's goldsmith custom-made my husband's wedding band and did an excellent job. Make sure you pay David a visit for any of your jewelry needs! read more

Unfortunately, Bremer got our business after a rather complicated, lengthy and extremely disappointing experience with another local jeweler. We wish we would've started at Bremer! Long story short, Bremer took ownership of a situation for which they were not responsible and rectified our jeweler experience. Tom was great and so was the rest of the staff who helped us in the midst of a frustrating experience. I appreciated Bremer's professionalism, knowledge, customer service and genuine concern for a job well done, the first time. Save yourself some headache and heartache and go to Bremer! read more

Brad Lange, he treats his customers as he would his own family. Brad is honest, kind, knowledgeable, and will never push someone into anything they are not comfortable with. Go and visit Brad Lange at Bremer Jewelry you will not regret it I promise! read more

Great customer service, which is not easy to find in today's world! They completed the work that I expected to take a few days in just 1 day and my ring looked brand new!! Outstanding work!! These guys went above and beyond my expectations and I thank them for their amazing service! read more

A respectable store with a professional staff. Bremer is always involved in charity fundraisers....they are not the cheapest jewelry store in town but that is because you pay for quality and service. In addition, knowing they are committed to the community and assisting with raising money for those less fortunate. I would never shop at a chain jewelry store----if you want quality and service. Exceptional store, exceptional service. read more

I had a good experience at Bremer. I found the selection very good and the sales associate was very nice and helpful. I also appreciated the flexibility that I was offered regarding the return policy. I did not end up needed to return or exchange it but I was happy to have some flexibility. I will come back again for any future jewelry purchase! read more

Bremer's is fantastic! The staff are professional and always there to guide and help you. Not only do they have beautiful jewelry but they will clean your rings and replace watch batteries for free. Bremer and David Haynes have been exceedingly generous to a local non-profit organization that I'm involved with. What a blessing to have someone so dedicated to helping the community! Thank you David & staff! read more

Stopped by to check out a Shinola 5021 with my wife. The sales person offered to have my wife's two diamond rings cleaned while we waited. The one ring is comprised of large pave' set diamonds. It was retrofitted within the last month at our jeweler in Chicago. When the salesman returned, he said "There has been a problem" one of the diamonds fell out. He didn't show us the ring. I was stunned. He said, since he is here, he will reset it free, just sign this paper so he gets paid $65 for placing the stone back in the prong. I kid you not...He is back in 10 minutes and then tells my wife that 12 prongs are loose and she needs to leave it with them so they can charge us an additional 65.00 per stone to fix the ring. I got on my cell phone in front of Bremer's staff and called another, well known, jeweler in town. I'm on his caller ID and he answered by saying "Hi Stewart, what's new? I told him what was going on and he said "Bring it to me immediately" Within 15 minutes we were in his shop. He tested every prong and stone and said... Solid as a rock...Good thing you called me. He also stated no evidence that a prong had been replaced or repaired. Bremer's, I've told a dozen people this story in the past few days. Needless to say, my friends and I will not cross your doorstep. Oh, by the way, If you are going to scam people, it should not be in the middle of a $750.00 watch sale. Stay away! read more
