Matt was sent out to do some electrical work. He was clean, neat, conscientious. The guy has a great personality, really I cannot say enough good things about him. What I can say is he did such a great job I had him come back and address some additional work. He is the guy I want back for any additional work in the future. I am recommending your company BREMAC and his work because you guys did right by your customers by hiring the best. The second time he came out he had a new employee. I thought no way could I get 2 guys who wanted to do their best..but after a conversation with the new guy I found out he was told that your company hired only the best...as a customer I felt this is awesome....it really made me feel good that BREMAC wanted the best for me. emergency service for heat going out. a few weeks ago we had our heat go out and couldn't figure out what had happened. we called bremac and they were swift sending someone over. he quickly found the problem(blown fuses and wire nuts that weren't the right size) and repaired it. he put new fuses in and changed the wire nuts on the connected wires. the bill was close to 300 dollars but i was happy because it was freezing and almost 10pm. a few days later the heat suddenly stopped working again and i went investigating if the problem was the fuse again. indeed the fuses had blown but after i smelled something burning i opened the panel of the air handler and found that the wires were melted. if i hadn't found this quickly it could have burned down our house. i called them again and they had someone come over again(had to take a half day of work) and the employee said that this wasn't done right and very dangerous. he fixed the problem properly and didn't charge me because it was warranty. after all this trouble i contacted bremac trough there contact page on their website saying i am looking for a refund because of the crappy job that was done in the first place but i never heard back from them. i don't mind paying for services but not if it almost burns down my house after the "fix" and i have to take half a day of work(unpaid). read more

Would select zero star if possible for Bremac. Proceed with CAUTION! This company was hired by our gas company to bury a gas tank and gas lines in our yard. In the process they cut our water line cutting the water supply to our house. Operators of the equipment knocked on the door and assured my wife not to worry they had someone on the way to fix. Never any mention of charges To my wife just tell assurance that they had it under control. They did fix the line. Then sent a healthy Invoice to us. We stalled on the invoice as we felt this was unfair to just charge us what ever they liked without consent. Time went by and they kept hounding us. I don't budge. Then they sent us to a collection agency that threatened to file with the court. so we paid it begrudgingly To avoid any damage to our credit report. So, proceed with caution if you must do business with these folks. I would surely recommend getting quotes in writing for anything before you let them touch your house or mechanicals. This is the first time I have ever had someone tell me they are going to take care of something then charge me over 400 dollar for 2 hours worth of work for an issue that they created. They claimed it was our responsibility to mark private underground utilities. I can swallow that pill and accept that. However, doing emergency work on my property without explaining cost to my wife (or calling on me for that matter) is not okay. Then strong arming me with collections is ridiculous. especially considering I never gave consent for the repair. Shame on you Bremac! Be alert especially if they tell you they have something under control!!! There is most likely going to be a large invoice on the way. Evening you didn't ask for the work. read more

My experience was well above just getting the job done. Daniel G. was not only there quite quickly after being notified of the need for him, he was very kind and professional. He got my unit back and running quickly and even chatted with me to calm my nerves while he did. I'm a first time homeowner and it's summer so I was freaking out. Terrible company, technician performed work that was not sanctioned and then charged me for over $260 in materials plus an additional $125 to vacuum up the mess he made!. When you add this to the original amount I was quoted of $99 it totals over $388! I could have bought a new gas log for this price! I have used Bremac for a number of years and have been surprised by their thoroughness (because I have experienced less from others) and friendliness of the technicians. I feel like I know a lot of them because of the annual servicing and they genuinely do care about what is going on with my systems. When I had my AC system replaced the guys spent a lot of time explaining what it was capable of and how to adjust the system. Never realized how much goes into balancing it. Do not use Bremac !! - they have threatened me with collection fees due to the fact that Frank Breese the owner and Everett Svc Mgr and Leah Henderson Acct Mgr want my elderly mother to pay full price $6499.00 for a Bryant Heat Pump that failed 2 weeks after it was installed and they expect me to pay Full price for a rebuilt unit after I requested to negotiate - so if you want to get stuck paying full price on rebuilt units go for it otherwise stay away from Bremac - I am sorry I believed the owner Frank or used Bremac or recommended them and have written the Better Business Bureau and contacted my attorney on the matter. read more

I can not believe this company has a good rating. My neighbors have a leak underground about 8 feet from the meter. The techs they sent wanted to turn off the water in the house, not at the meter. If it is leaking underground and not in the house you turn off the water going to the house not in the house. This was Sunday. This should be an easy fix and an emergency. They still have not done any work and are charging the owners top dollar for the time these men walk around with their thumbs up there nose. They know where the leak is, dig, repair the pipe, done. Bremac is milking the owner because they are not there to watch what they are doing. This is a rental property, so they think they can stick it to them. I will never call on them. Watching them send young non experienced boys to the job was the first mistake, the second sending a supervisor who did not know what he was doing was the other. If they want to make it right, Fix it today, and do not charge for the last two days your men did nothing but call the office and ask what to do. I work for a contract myself and this is shameful. Taking advantage of a customer is wrong and making someone go without water for no reason is unforgiveable. If you want to through your money away, call Bremac. Shame on You!! read more

I've used Bremac for the past 4 or 5 years. Always on time...Always excellent service by technicians that don't try to "sell" us on products & services we really don't need. Technicians are thoughtful enough to wear boot cover ups ...not tracking dirt in the house. I've referred Bremac to many friends and will continue to do so. read more

Our experience with Bremac was extremely disappointing and we will never give our patronage to this company again. When we booked our appointment we weren't told that we would have to compensate the serviceman for drive time ($30 each way) so by the time he walked through our door, we already owed him $60. He falsely reported that our HVAC unit had a leak and would need 5 pounds of freon (at $170 a pound), and when my wife told him that she would like to confer with me first he was quite hostile and told her that he didn't want to be bothered with going back upstairs and that the "freon would probably drain out in a day anyway"...AFTER pushing the sale. He wrote on our receipt that our unit, which had given us no problem, would require at least $2000 worth of repairs, but that he couldn't determine which repairs were necessary until he completed a $300 investigation of the unit - anyone with a shred of logic can deduce that that makes absolutely no sense. Our appointment was for annual maintenance, not due to any pre-existing issue. They clearly operate off of commission and prey upon the limited knowledge of laymen. Suspecting something sketchy, we called an independent contractor to our home who looked at our unit for $50, ran several diagnostic tests, and determined absolutely nothing was wrong. The service technician made my wife very uncomfortable and egregiously misrepresented the truth for his own benefit. A total waste of $187. read more

I just had my furnace worked on by Bremac 2 days ago. They showed up earlier than expected, which was a nice surprise and the the work was completed in a timely fashion. What really surprised me and kinda took me back was the charge for the service (and theis was not an emergency service call. I was a call in the middle of the work day in the middle of the week). It turns out that the circuit board for my furnace failed which prevented the blower from turning on. When all was said and done, I was handed a bill for $759.00! It took the tech approximately 25-30 minutes to diagnose the issue, approximately 30-40 minutes to go get the part (which resulted in a $71 trip charge) and approximately another 25-30 minutes to install the board and test the unit. Total time at my house was just under or right at 2hrs. While the tech was diagnosing the issue, I got the model of the circuit board from him and did my research online and discovered that the board sells for $199 brand new. I was charged $99 for them just to show up at my door, $71 trip charge to go get the part and then the rest $589 for the part and labor. While I am glad that the issue was fixed, after doing my research online on the costs involved with replacing a furnace circuit board, I have discovered that I have been WAY OVERCHARGED. When I was chatting with the tech as he was repairing my issue, I asked him what it would cost to replace my indoor furnace, as that model was approximately 20 years old and he replied from his experience about $3000 or so including installation. So.... I was just charged 25% of a complete new install for circuit board and 1 hours worth of labor. I can not, in good conscience, recommend Bremac based on pricing alone.
