Absolute worst experience ever! The vehicle had already been in an accident so the door was all dinged and scraped, when we got in it smelt like cigarette smoke extremely strong cigarette smoke. I got into the backseat and the seats were stained and dirty, and the AC was not working and it was 100° weather. The driver was also as dirty as his car and said oh I'm sorry you can't feel the AC I feel it just fine. Then he said if you don't like it, do you wanna get out? We said yes we do then he said well, I'm the only driver working so if you call again, you're gonna get me. They charge eight dollars per person CASH so it was gonna be $32 to ride 3 miles sitting in a car that smelt like smoke no AC in the sweltering heat on the seats that were stained and sticky and dirty and the car was already bashed in from an accident and the driver was a smart ass! Worst everrrrrrr read more

We were surprised when a Breezy taxi showed up, because we had contacted another transportation company. We found out the company we'd called had passed us off to Breezy. Our taxi was truly one of filthiest, dirty, and smelliest cabs I've ever been in. There was a layer of dirt/dust/cat hair over everything and reeked of stale cigarette smoke! The condition of the Breezy cab made NYC taxis look like high class limos! While the price, $3 per person is good, the riding conditions made one feel way overcharged. With so many great things going on around Tybee, a little upkeep would go a long way. read more

The best! So friendly and reliable. I use breezy rider all the time. Only $5 per person to go anywhere on TYB.

Came to pick me up immediately, and he was so nice! Definitely recommend! No mush no fuss.

Breezy is a great service! Ride sharing doesn't seem super available and ever since covid it's been even more difficult. I was on Tybee this weekend and I guy I was talking to at a bar told me about Breezy instead. I used them 4 times while I was there and never waited more than 15 minutes for a ride and it was labor day weekend. The cars are old and dingy taxis but the rides are short and the drivers are super cool. Three bucks a person to go anywhere on the island. I would give a tenner for two people and they were usually surprised by tip (in a positive way) so make sure y'all are tipping your Breezy drivers out there! read more

We took Breezy Rider from The Crab Shack to North Beach. Ubers and Lyfts were over $50 with limited availability. Our Breezy cab got there in less than 10 minutes and cost $15. Our driver was friendly and helpful. Later, we called to get a cab back to Savannah and he sent me other cab companies since they don't service that area. Went above and beyond!!! Highly recommend. read more

Grabbed a Breezy ride and was surprised when we got to our stop because the driver demanded $5 a person even though the website says $3 per person. According to him "it changed months ago" but the website still listed $3 so that seems a bit confusing. Definitely felt like a driver trying to shake down a few tourists who are forced to pay extra or be left stranded. If the rates went up they need to adjust the website, otherwise it just seems like a shady transaction read more

We are in Tybee on vacation and we had a rude Breezy cab driver behind us in traffic. As we were letting pedestrians crossing the crosswalk designated for pedestrians the cab driver blew his horn at us and then as the people cross went around us and then blew by us going 60 or 70 miles an hour and the speed limit is about 30. I called to report this to Breezy and after a few minutes of listening to me the guy that picked the phone up told me that he absolutely did not care! Wow no wonder they have this mentality! read more

Ubers & Lyfts are not readily available to go around the island but we were told about Breezy and glad we found him! Quick and easy and cheap! We called Breezy for 3 rides in one day as we wanted to tour around the different areas of the island. He responded quickly to our calls, fun conversations! read more

Tried to call for a cab ride. I don't know what kind of bad day this guy was having, but he answered by yelling "to stop blocking his business line" and hung up. First time myself or anyone I knew had called him. Don't know how you could get a taxi with answering service like that. read more

Didn't use the service but customer service is awful. Staying on Tybee the weekend of the Irish parade. Called to ask them if they do their one-hour tours AFTER the parade, like that evening or the morning after. Before I could finish my question, I got a "God no." I laughed and started to speak again but was cut off with, "No." and a hang up. No goodbyes or pleasantries AT ALL. Okay then. Well damn. read more

Husband had a stroke waiting for taxi that never came. Called the service and they said we had another ride but we didn't. Tried to walk to our hotel and he had a stroke. I totally blame the asshole who kept hanging up on me. Attorney will be in touch read more

Always a good time. Reasonably priced transportation around Tybee Island. We had a large group and it was nice to be able to fit all of us on the little bus. They are always pleasant and on time. Highly recommend! read more

Got us where we needed to go always within 15 min. Great, fun, outgoing local drivers who will tell you all about the island!

I loved Breezy Rider. They were recommended by the hotel staff. We used them several times while on the Island. They will take you anywhere for $3 per person. They were always prompt, friendly and informative. One of the driver's informed me that it was impossible to get an Uber back from Tybee Island to the Savannah Airport, and he was correct. He gave me other options to get off the island. Had I not known before hand, I would have been stuck the morning of my flight. Thank You Breezy - you guys are great! read more

Don't show up when they say they will. Actually, don't show up at all. Missed a dinner AND a tour that we booked & lost a lot of money.

Red headed dude driving the Taxi was chill as f**k. He recommended which places to go to as well. He showed up on time and $3 per person was well worth it, given the rain we had. read more

Can't beat $3 a person to drive anywhere on the island, but make sure you call well in advance. We went in June so busy season on the island, we were expecting to have to wait. However 50 minutes standing on the side of the street waiting seems a bit ridiculous. 30 minutes the next night. Both time told us 15-20 wait. That wasn't the case. Dispatch was confused every time we called. Uber would have been .75 cents more, but would have been there in half the time. read more

Breeeeezzzyy. Superb taxi service, used it all holiday, never had to wait longer than 10 minutes. Experienced 4 different drivers, all had great chat and were very pleasant. Cheers Breezy! read more

Called all morning for a ride and no one even answered. They say they are a 24 hour service. Used Uber. Much more reliable.

Best Deal on the island ! $3 anywhere on the island ! (Per person) it's a very local thing, you'll find out everything you need to know in the cab. They will deliver almost anything within legal limits. Ron the owner is funny AF and only hires the most trustworthy people . I'd trust any of them with my life . read more

Joey showed right up, as soon as we were in the parking lot he was there. Great peraonality

VERY unhappy with this company. Called on Thursday (July 20) to reserve a cab to airport for Saturday morning. Received call on Friday (July 21) to confirm the reservation -- then on Saturday, NO TAXI ! No car, no phone call, and no one answered our calls to Breezy Rider. We had to scramble and beg a ride to Savannah airport to catch our flight home. Will NEVER use or recommend this company! read more

If you need to get around Tybee or are staying on Tybee and need a ride to Savannah or the airport or anywhere else this is the company you call. They are professional and entertaining. They picked me up forride to the airport at 3am and called 10 minutes ahead of time to make sure I was up, called again to say they are pulling up to the house. We took several rides with them and could not have been happier. They truly love their customers and appreciate them. I even got a hug from my driver. Nice family company. read more
