Amazing Key Lime Pie!!
Merry K.

Amazing customer service and amazing key lime pie for my birthday. They went above and beyond to make my birthday extra special!!

Key Lime Pie

SUPER IMPRESSED!!! Surpassed any expectation I had! I ordered a Key Lime Pie the day before I needed it and they had no issues to fulfill the order! The decorations are top notch and were so pleasantly unexpected! I couldn't recommend them more.

Coconut macaroons

I contacted Bri to discuss shipping some of their yummy bakery items. As luck would have it, she agreed to ship from FL to NY. Carefully packed we're two loaves of lemon tea bread, a separate container of the luscious glaze, a 1/2 dzn coconut macaroons, and buttery Easter cookies. I arranged for priority mail through USPS and it took a short two days to arrive. As you can see, everything arrived in one piece. I'll be ordering again. I highly recommend stopping by Breezy Bakery and trying any one of their delicious treats. Bri and Dani are absolutely lovely people!

Fine bakery in an awkward "middle" location of a curvy crowded raised sidewalk with a fun mural nearby. Inside equally as crowded on the customer side of things including a small toddler's corner that makes dining in hard for patrons, with the "ordering traffic". Had a case full of fabulous items, all beckoning to be eaten. Nice variety and nice posted signs of items. Items were not priced or labeled making it hard to decide. This makes me buy less, not more. Was a bit chaotic when I was there and owner not on site. When she did come in she ordered an employee to get things out of her car (like it was a private favor) and was friendly to some but not all patrons (made one uncomfortable). I had a slice of peanut butter pie on chocolate graham that was very "heavy", definitely peanut buttery, like eating it straight from the jar. Later I loved a 1" diameter espresso macaron for $2 and a great strawberry thumbprint bite both teeny and $2. My favorite item was the cherry Danish. Though the topping was straight from a can it was vividly delicious. The food will bring me back but ambiance and service were "meh" based on one visit. Not knowing prices or having labels will wear off quickly. Hope that gets fixed. No lattes either. Boohoo.

Breezy Bakery made the most delicious and simply beautiful gluten free, dairy free and soy free cake for a my wedding elopement. The whole process was done quickly and with excellent communication! Our guests LOVED the cake and had no idea it lacked any ingredient! I appreciate that our wedding cake was not only beautiful, but safe for me to eat. My husband & I will absolutely visit again next time we are in FL !

Lemon tart

The lemon tarts are out of this world, as are the muffins. I'm sure everything else is just as good and I'll be back to make sure...

Do you have French pastries and sandwiches?

Pastries yes. The only sandwich I saw was a breakfast sandwich - sun dried tomato cream cheese on focaccia bread.

I basically created the ultimate upscale girl dinner: mussels, fries, Caesar salad, crab beignets, and shrimp cocktail. Everything was fresh, flavorful, beautifully done, and completely hit the spot. Such a fun, elevated place without feeling stuffy. I'll absolutely be making Boulon a regular stop whenever I'm visiting.

Once out of the shell it had a smushed texture it was very odd. The pot pie only had a crust that covered the top no bottom. I would think for $40.00 it would have a pastry bottom. My husband made reservations for our special day. The waitress was excellent she was pulled away from our table to work outside. That was very disappointing and it made our experience unenjoyable. She was running around trying to help everyone, it was obvious she was overwhelmed. They gave us a dessert to share for our anniversary, that was very disappointing and it didn't taste good at all. We paid almost $400.00 for two meals, it would have been nice if they gave us two desserts for our wedding anniversary. We decided to leave early because a group of loud rowdy people came in and sat right beside our table about 15 or 20. They definitely disturbed the relaxing vibe. It definitely did not feel like fine dining, that loud group ruined the atmosphere for everyone else and the manager did nothing. He should have asked them to tone it down. I would not recommend this restaurant at all. * Update - I sent an email to the customer service at Boulon Brasserie. It took a very long time for me to receive a response. I received a follow up email from the General Manager asking me to contact him. I called but was unable to reach him for weeks. He asked me to tell him about my experience. I explained that our lobster didn't taste fresh it was mushy. The seafood pot pie had no flavor at all and it was very disappointing. I had the pleasure of dining in Paris and the food at Boulon Brasserie was not up to par. Also we had an issue with the loud noise of a dinner party that changed the atmosphere. After speaking with Mr. Carlos Robles, General Manager he said he was looking forward to turn me and my husband into an advocate of Boulon Brasserie | 1001 Water St. Mr. Robles sent us a gift card for $100. dollars to return and partake in more fine dining. However with the high prices on the menu, this amount clearly would not cover the cost of two meals. We spent $400 on dinner to celebrate our 37th wedding anniversary and he sent us $100 to make up for our bad experience. Although we appreciate the gesture. I don't feel as if I want to put any more of our money into this endeavor, because clearly we would have to pay additional funds to cover the expenses. It's just not worth it. One bad experience is enough.

Not understanding the extra charge for whipped cream when the picture on the window shows it and the price on the board doesn't indicate an upcharge. The picture of latte on the window shows two pieces of chocolate on top of whipped cream. But ours didn't come with chocolate and we joked how expensive that extra charge would be. Bottom line you aren't getting what is advertised and they should advise you of the upcharges before committing. A few sips and I was done and disappointed. The shop is at the tail end of Wiregrass Mall right in front of Dillards. Couch and 6 tables to sit at inside. Outside are three tables with umbrellas and metal chairs. The lady, assuming the owner, was nice and helpful with a couple questions. She speaks in a French accent so that is authentic. They also have gelato, pastries, macaroons and milk shakes; all a bit high to help offset the high rent at a mall.
