This is easily one of my favorite coffee spots in downtown St. Pete. The espresso is consistently good, and their vanilla latte is perfectly balanced--not too sweet, just right. The staff is always friendly, and the ambiance truly sets this place apart. From the inviting aroma to the thoughtfully curated decor, it's a cozy and welcoming space. I love having the option to relax in the lobby or enjoy my coffee on the outdoor patio section and enjoy the view. I haven't tried the food yet, but the gelato looked delicious!

I LOVE stopping at the Vinoy Cafe for lattés and pastries when I'm in town. The environment of the Vinoy Hotel is such a relaxing oasis. You can sit comfortably inside at the café or out on the front patio. I always, without a doubt, order their speciality "Lottie Latté." Many times I have gotten their "Quiche Lorraine" for breakfast and it's absolutely phenomenal. You cannot go wrong with any of their breakfast items. Stop by in the afternoon and get yourself a few chocolates or a pastry as a treat! They have so much options. In the lobby, they always have this beautiful floral table piece decoration (pictured) and they switch out the flowers weekly. They are fresh flowers! It's a great photo opp.

The service was amazing. The drinks were amazing. The vibes were stellar! Gelato was soooo good. The hotel is full of history and beauty 10/10

Lottie is located within the lobby of the Vinoy in downtown St. Pete. As other yelpers mentioned, it is pretty pricey. I think the two pastries my wife and I ordered amounted to like $30 bucks. I don't remember what they were called, but you can see the two that we ordered in the photos I attached. Were they good? Eh, they were good enough, but nothing special, and definitely not worth the price. Also, you'll notice in the photographs the pastries were in a box. They don't offer plates which I thought was kind of odd, but maybe not really, since it appears Lottie does not have a dedicated seating area of their own. Not to worry, there are plenty of other places to sit within the Vinoy. Also, I don't understand how an elite yelper gave this place 4 stars without even trying the food.

This place is so cute! My husband and I went down in the morning and each grabbed a coffee and a danish and everything was delicious!

Undoubtedly a gorgeous cafe, and the desserts are equally beautiful to match. However, the prices are very high, and the flavors of the 2 I tried (the yuzu passionfruit and key lime tart) were nothing impressive. If you're picking out a dessert based on appearance alone (and can afford it!), then this place is perfect, but if you're going more for taste there are much cheaper and better tasting options elsewhere!

Lottie latte, sausage/egg/cheese biscuit sandwich & lorraine quiche! Sooo good!

Future Christina, you should always get the seafood plateau, it is delicious and also you leave feeling not weighed down. We also split a small Caesar salad, which no longer comes with blue cheese, which is great, and that was enough food for both me and my husband. This time the seafood plateau came with muscles, oysters, fish spread, shrimp cocktail, and crab legs. It also has a ton of toasted bread for the fish spread. I ate the oysters and mussels, and my husband ate most of the shrimp and the crab legs. I love the fish spread so I'm glad it comes with that as well. The one con was it took an hour before we even ordered our food. That was crazy to me. Luckily we had accounted for a lot of time before our show at the Mahaffey, but if we didn't, that would've been exceptionally stressful. I do have to shout out that they're fresh pressed orange juice is absolutely delicious and well worth the eight dollar charge for a small glass (carafe is $14 so get the carafe instead). The grapefruit juice isn't cold pressed in house, but is cold pressed. It is less expensive at around five dollars, I don't think it is as good as the orange juice, but if you like grapefruit juice, it is pretty good. My husband got an old-fashioned and liked it. Overall, I still really enjoy this place, but if you're in a rush, you should probably tell your server so that way you get in and out quicker.

Potatoes. Cold. This was our first time here, and I probably won't go back. Valet parking, but on busy days be prepared to wait as they service several restaurants. Otherwise, parking is on the street.

Nathan our server was well informed and gave good suggestions , he is familiar with the food. They have influence from Morocco in the decor, the music and the spices they use. There are few vegetarian options with the exception of the salads and a sampler platter. I did not see any vegan options. The sampler plate gives you a taste of many things, however, so much of the food is wheat based and more than likely sourced from the US not Morocco.. US uses a lot of glyphosphate and GMO in the wheat. And it is difficult to digest. One of the people in our group had the chicken Angie and said the chicken was good.. it was served with French fries and they were not good. Most likely not made in house. If you have never been to Morocco it may be a nice place to try. The mint tea is nice. I did not have any dessert.

My friend ordered another pasta dish, her husband had the fish special and my husband ordered the filet, which was cooked perfectly for him. Portions are on the smaller side, but still very filling. My husband and I each started with a Caesar salad. I forgot to ask for it without anchovies, and they gave the salad a very strong, fishy flavor. If you're not a big anchovy fan like me, I'd recommend ordering it without. Service was excellent for a busy Friday night. Our server was friendly and helped guide us with wine recommendations. He was spot on, and the wines paired beautifully with the meals we chose. Definitely a great spot for a cozy dinner in the heart of Central Ave.

I told her I wanted to sit outside so I could have dinner and read a book with a glass of wine. She told me it would be about 20 minutes and suggested I go to the bar. Once inside, I was greeted by Corey, who entertained me with a vibrant wine list and a quick tasting before selecting a crisp Sauvignon Blanc. As my wine was being poured in a delightfully elegant wine glass... Carolina told me my table was ready. They put me in the perfect spot for people watching. My server was Rachel, who shared the night's special offerings with great aplomb. I am not usually a Wagyu person, but I thought why not, yolo. I paired it with the cauliflower. But to kick things off,..I did the focaccia. The meal was so superb. I immediately texted a friend of mine and said we had to come back the following evening. Again with the Wagyu and the focaccia. Sue me, I'm a glutton for delight. My friend had the seafood linguine.... Which in keeping with the theme was exemplary. Our server for night two was Kyle... Who anticipated I ever need. We had a variety of martinis and ended the evening with a fancy coffee that included a rock sugar spoon. This is my new go to when I visit St. Petersburg. The environment was so cozy and magical. It was a wonderful feel and the food transported you to France. My spouse loved sitting in France outside and dining and the establishment reminded him of that. He lived there for several years. Then they moved to Indian Rocks Beach and since that move we had not been in. But a few months ago we found out where they moved to. Last night my son wanted to take us out to eat for Mother's Day since he has to work today. We happily drove 1 hour and 20 minutes to get there. The environment has lost its appeal and its mundane. Which is not the end because we came also for the food. My son ordered lamb chops which were one bite pieces of lamb on a the bone and there were 3. The gravey lacked any reduction and or flavour. It was pretty much tasteless. My spouse ate one of the chops to try it and agreed. I tasted the sauce off his plate. The cook on the lamb was good. My son was very disappointed as he loves lamb. When he said something to the women who owns it she brushed him off as it was no big deal and claimed no one has ever complained about the lamb before. Which is a blanted lie just look at the reviews. I personally find that hard to believe. I ordered Bouillabaisse, which is a personal favourite of mine. Due to her attitude towards my son I said nothing. I ate a few bites and took the rest home and threw it out. The scallops and shrimp are chewy. The monkfish was overcooked and the salmon was extremely fishy tasting. The only dinner item that was good was the Steak Diana that my husband ordered. After we ordered crème brulle missing its an upcharge for the flame it was served cold. The sugar crust was burnt and so thick it stuck to our teeth. We left part of it and all shared it instead of each of us ordering desserts. My son who paid thought maybe she didn't understand and thought he would say something before leaving because the meal at $190 with 1 beer in the mix was a bit high for food that was NOT good. She was cold and so what about it. So he left rather upset. Which upsets me. I find it hard to believe that being French or not one would care so little about their guests feeling were towards their food. For this reason we will not return. There are other French establishments that we can dine at and the fact that there is nothing I can't cook for myself. But sometimes I just like it made for me. It was for Mother's Day after all.
