I tried to adhere to the refund policy (create an account, link, etc.) I had trouble with that process and so I was told FOUR different things by different customer representatives. It was not only painful, it felt DELIBERATELY, purposefully painful -- the more difficult they make the process, the less likely you are to even get a partial credit, right? We booked with Breeze because they were the only flight direct to our destination. & we're traveling with our toddler. Booking Flights: Process was fine like any other. Pay attention to bag sizes, they do charge for carry ons. Gate & Customer Service: We did not need, I digitally had our tickets on my phone & we were able to go straight to the gate. If traveling at LAX, we did take a bus to the actual terminal Flight/Service: F#%king terrible. Flight was almost 5 hours, no complimentary water or snacks. You pay for everything. Our family witnessed flight attendants stand back, not offer to help a single mom of 2 (kiddos under 4) to get her stuff off the plane. My husband was asked to get the car seat situated on the bridge cause it was taking too long (mean while flight attendants look completely miserable, offered no help & stood there). As we proceeded to the bridge, mommy of 2 had to put her baby on the floor, to open the stroller, her toddler had an accident was unable to help mom set up. My husband & I offered to help as soon as we saw her, I picked up her baby & my husband helped with the bags. If you're a flight attendant please know you represent your company & when you represent it well, have willingness to offer help or actually do your job with grace & a smile - people come back. But if you're not and you're going to look miserable, not go above & beyond in service b/c that's your job then this job is definitely not for you. Sad to say we would never use Breeze again even if it's "budget" friendly. As business owners we would know every business, every job literally will deal with serving people. I hope you guys do better with training your flight attendants, or hire ones that really value their job. read more

Don't do it...not even once. Breeze is a slightly better choice than Spirit, but not by much. Their customer service is even worse than Spirit. Their website will advse that you arrive three hours early. When you do, you will find that they won't let you check in until two hours before departure. On a recent cross-country flight, after numerous gate changes, we were told that there was no wi-fi. This would be bad enough boredom-wise, but it also meant the sales system did not work and since there is no free anything (not even water) that meant no service of any type on a five-hour flight. The aircraft are serviceable, but not particularly comfortable or clean. The lack of advertising on the overhead storage is the only thing that gets them rated above Spirit. Seiously, take almost any other airline, take a train, take a bus, walk if you have to, but do not, under any circumstances fly Breeze. read more

Today at the Breeze check in counter at LAX for a flight from LAX to Raleigh, the Breeze Airways staff mishandled a situation. The staff kept insisting that my mom's personal item is big and wants to charge $75 to bring it in as a carry on. I told her the size of the bag is for a personal item. But she doesn't want to accept it. I told her she can measure it but she responds with "i don't need to measure it, the way i look at it, it is big. She said it is $75. Since i have no choice, I don't want my mom to miss her flight, i paid for it, but it is actually just $40. So the staff is giving wrong information.... And she is wrong about personal item sizing. She should measured the bag if she thinks the size is off. I am posting here the picture of the dimension of the bag and the advertised personal item dimensions from the Breeze Airways website. I am reporting Breeze Airways to the Business Bureau for charging passengers' personal item as a carry on item, that is illegal! read more

There is absolutely no reliable customer service. I asked to cancel a reservation and I had to do it via text. I was led to believe the reservation was canceled. However two days later I discovered it was not and my fare was forfeited. After texting back and forth with customer service for an hour, they gave me the run around and no true help. Purchased my ticket to Orlando Florida from John Wayne Airport from the 13th to the 17th. I needed to change my return date to the 16th and the app was giving me big problems. You can't even call to speak with anyone. I tried on Facebook messenger from midnight till morning and no response all night. So I decided to call the John Wayne Airport and this young lady told me to be in the line by 10:15am this morning so I could get some sort of assistance. I was then told that I could only change on the app. Well I guess the attendant was also irritated with how long of a wait, and meanwhile the app kept spinning so she decided to get on her personal Lil computer to help me... Breeze treated my son who is in the US Coast Guard terribly. I dropped him off at the airport in San Diego to go to Connecticut on orders and they did not accept his 3rd checked bag. He has never experienced this with any other airline. He missed his flight and had to book on American for much later. Thankfully American honors people serving in our military and will take his extra bag. My son tried to pay for a 3rd checked bag, but they refused to take cash (he didn't have a credit card on him). And I'm trying to get a refund for the Breeze flight now but they literally have no one that you can talk to and the customer service in general is terrible. Don't fly this airline. read more

I flew them MCO-SNA. We had a delay of a couple hours due to a late aircraft, but crew and gate team were ready to roll as soon as the aircraft arrived. Turned us around for departure in about 20 min. Very friendly crew onboard, and before I even landed I had an email with a credit to use later because of the delay. Keep in mind, it's kinda a Jet Blue/Spirit hybrid. Think, branding of Jet Blue with pricing of Spirit. If you buy the base fare, everything is an up charge. I actually bought a first class seat for $129 and it was great. Only downside is minimal customer service options if you need to speak with someone. They respond to text, but don't have a phone number to call. They were very responsive, it just wasn't immediate when I had a question. I'd definitely fly with them again! I rolled the dice on it because I figured if it fell apart I'd only spent a hundred bucks, but it was a great experience overall. read more

The review is of round-trip from SNA to Tampa. Both flights were right on time. The cabin was clean and the crew was very personable on both flights. One one flight I was in the Nicest seat, the wifi was free and we had access to drinks, including 1 alcoholic drink and regular snacks. Premium snacks were available for purchase. Premium snacks are pretty much fancier version of Lunchables and then one box that has a variety of mini packages (olives, crackers, cream cheese, fruit rollups etc.) On the Nicer seat on the way back ALL snacks are for purchase and no coffee or tea or Wi-Fi was available. Hence, took the star away. All in all, not a bad flight experience this time around. I did not have to deal with cancelations, rescheduling and other things including customer service, so this rating and review does not include that portion. read more

Long overdue review post-flight! We flew SNA to MCO in the "Nicest" first class seats. The fact that it was direct was AMAZING! The seats were very comfortable, and the staff on board were chatty, friendly, and helpful. I really appreciated that I had a nice place to set my phone and watch my shows while enjoying the heavy snacks provided as part of my ticket. I reduced it by one star because on the way there we were delayed by over two hours. That really sucked. SNA isn't big, and we were bored. We were also delayed getting on the plane by about 40 minutes on the way home. That wasn't bad! However, once on the plane they kept us on the tarmac for repairs for an additional 60 minutes. Overall, the price for a 1st class seat with a direct flight out of SNA was FAR less than an ECONOMY direct flight out of LAX! It was a no brainer - we had a great flight. The delays sucked, but I'd rather take that than a drive to LAX or having a layover. read more

I have only had good experiences with breeze airlines. It is the first Utah based airline and they fly out of Provo and potentially have flights out of Salt Lake City International Airport. Breeze provided cheaper prices for specific locations. There are certain days only available to be able to fly, so flights and seats can be limited. If you park there they will charge you a daily fee of at least $30, that's a heads up to take an Uber of Lyft, friend drop you off, etc! read more

I asked to talk to management and no one would come speak to me. I asked to call Orlando to figure out if the bag was still there and all I got was "no one is there to help you". Top to bottom, start to finish this was the worst travel experience I have ever had. The check in process was delayed, then slow, then bungled. The agents couldn't operate their terminals and the kiosks were malfunctioning. The take off was slowed as the flight attendants tried to figure out how to give the safety instructions. On all four legs of the trip, half of the bathrooms were broken so there were lines in the aisles the entire flight. All of the same mishaps occurred on the return flight PLUS, we arrived early so there was no available gate. So we waited for a half hour and then were directed to a different gate. The finding the correct baggage carousel was a guessing game. No one seemed trained or experienced and no employee seemed happy to be there. It never got registered with Breeze airlines after finding out that the company that booked my ticket was based in China and was unable to contact them with any of the phone numbers they left nor was the flight number even correct or even registered with the airlines when I called the airlines to find out what time my ticket or what time my flight would take off they inform me I wasn't even on the roster. I had already purchased a return flight directly with Breeze and they tried to charge me for the same flight I had already paid for, when I inform them of what happened they just told me you have no legs to stand on, sir you didn't buy the insurance and when I tried to talk to somebody they informed me for a dollar refundable they would set me up with a specialist before I read the fine print and saw that I had to buy a $55 per month membership in order to talk to anyone. This airline is a complete scam rip off they will not work with you. They will not honor deals that they have people selling their tickets I wouldn't recommend this to my worst enemy aware they are extremely bad at customer service very dishonest read more

Can't recommend this airline. We sat on a plane waiting to leave Orlando for 3 hours before the 5 hour flight to John Wayne. It was suppose to be 10 minutes. The refueling took so long that they redirected our flight to LAX at the last minute. Everyone had to fend for themselves to get back to SNA. They said they would reimburse our Uber trips back to SNA if we had receipts but that will take a month. You would think that after all that time they would at least give complimentary soda and snacks but no they did not. The 5 hour flight turned into 8 hours and they should have done something to help. I really don't enjoy writing negative reviews, but I had the unfortunate experience of having to deal with Breeze Airway's customer service. The bag check-in gate closed earlier than the policy stated on their website (it's supposed to close 45 minutes before the flight time but it was closed an hour before) and that was confirmed by the customer service team member over text. If you try to contact customer service they will not only take a long time to communicate back and forth with you, but also give you false information and be condescending while doing so. I was given two different times about how long the bag check-in was supposedly open today according to the initial team member I spoke with. Then I was redirected to Brooklyn, the supervisor who provided me with yet another time that the gate was confirmed to be open. Even when their own policies are not being followed, they will blame the customer and refuse to give you a refund to your original payment method for missing your flight because the bag check-in gate closed early. read more

One email said they had credited our Breeze account with 50,000 miles then another email followed later stating that was an error and it had been changed to 5,000 miles. We had to book last minute with Delta to get to our original destination at a 3X premium. Haven't heard a word from Breeze how we'll be compensated for their debacle. I have no complains about my experience. It is extremely convenient for me to take a direct flight from John Wayne to Orlando and not go through LAX craziness. I got to experience the regular (Nice) seat on my way there and 1st class (nicest) on the way back. Think of it as a commuter's, no frills flight. Seats are fine, 1st class seats are obviously a little larger and more comfortable. Regular seats don't offer anything in terms of drinks (even soft drinks/coffee) or food - so you have to buy your own snacks. First class will give you a snack box (which is decent, but still is no hot food or even a sandwich) and 1 round of alcohol - you will have to buy the drinks after that. There is no wi-fi on board (which makes for a very boring 5 hour flight), but I hear that it is coming fast, so hopefully we will see it in a month or two. (Honestly to me it is more important and more of an inconvenience not having than food on the plane). 1st flight was slightly delayed (under an hour), nothing unusual, returning flight was on time. Take-off and landing were fine, on the way there we had to circle around the airport around 6 circles while waiting for our turn to land. Did not have to use a customer service, so I hear this is where they still fall flat and learning. But other than that - will fly again! read more
